This hotel is a terrific choice, and I'm probably going to sound overly superlative but it does deserve it, so here goes. Super room, very well soundproofed so long as you FULLY lock the windows. Extremely comfortable bed, very pleasant room aesthetically - nice to flake out in and recharge in mid-afternoon! The shower - oh, the jet! That was really appreciated. New sheets and towels everyday. Fantastic location, right in the centre. AND THE BREAKFAST - wow - not only a superb buffet which would have been enough in itself, but also a high standard, perfectly cooked menu to choose from as well. I wish we knew the name of the young woman in charge of the breakfasts as she is a delight (as was the lady on the desk). Anything else? There was only a coffee machine in the room but we asked for a kettle (English, travel with strong tea bags) and it was instantly given, with two very large mugs!

Excellent location in the heart of Athens, but with sound insulation keeping the noise out of the room, and green trees as extension from our balconies. Very comfortable rooms. Our suite was large and had lots of light and large windows/balconies, but small bathroom (which worked well, though). Good breakfast at the 3rd floor terrace (also somehow/surprisingly quiet, given hotel location). Fine reception staff (professional), very nice/welcoming cleaning ladies (both we interacted with). Reasonable price for Athens center. Well-functioning WiFi.

Reception was across the street, at sister hotel. Bathroom was a little small. Neither of these was a big deal.

Location is perfect. Close to Syntagma, easy access to airport buses, shopping, and walking distance to major tourist attractions in Athens. The hotel is clean and sophisticated. The staff at the reception is very friendly.

Noisy as it is a busy area. Breakfast starts at 7:30 a.m., which is too late to use. The front desk informed me that I could have breakfast at “The Marblous Athens” across the street at 7:00 a.m. I submitted my breakfast order sheet in advance, but on the morning of the day of my stay, the staff at the cafe told me to have breakfast there because I was staying at “Astikon House”. I was very confused by the difference in what different staff members said.

The location is super central and served our needs down to a T. It is a very new hotel that has been designed beautifully; everything was brand new and had nods to Greek architecture throughout. We arrived in the afternoon and headed out for cocktails and dinner; we then went to watch a movie at Cine Paris which is a close walk to Astikon. We had a great nights sleep as the room and facilities were very comfortable. In the morning we had the most wonderful cheery welcome from the member of staff who was looking after the Breakfast Room. We felt like we were being greeted and looked after by family; she is truly an asset to the hotel as she is genuinely interested in making a difference to all the guests day. Breakfast was perfectly located on a roof garden and was very tasty. We had a great city break in a beautiful hotel. We will be sure to visit again.

Nothing could have been improved upon; everything was perfect.

This is located at a Athens shopping strip. It is lively great for shopping and eating. The staff is outstanding. Rooms are modern and of good size. Everything works as it should. Breakfast is adequate and gets even better when you order from the cooked menu. Shower works great with adequate water pressure, temperature. Beds are comfy, plenty of towels and they do get replaced every day. A short walk to the Acropolis and Museum and Parliament. Well priced for Athens I would recommend without hesitation.

They do have a coffee machine in the room but a kettle might be better (this might just be my preference). Nothing really.

We loved our stay at Astikon House! The staff really made our stay extra special, from the reception staff in the brother hotel to the breakfast staff through to the cleaner. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, suggesting some great restaurants (Dopios and Feeling Tipsy - thank you, Michael and colleagues!) and making reservations on our behalf. Our room was big, clean, and lovely. We had a very comfortable stay in a luscious bed with plenty of pillows. Breakfast was great, too - plenty of choice and items to help yourself to. I loved that we had access to plenty of water and coffee, beyond what was in the room (which got restocked everyday anyway). We'd definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Our room had a balcony, which was great, but it would have been nice to have furniture on it, rather than have to go up to the terrace everytime to be comfortable outside.

We stayed in the group hotel across the street. Ee could check in early which was very nice after the flight. The staff was very welcoming and helpfull. The location of the hotel was great, you can easily walk to everywhere. The room was comfortable and clean. The facilities were good enough. The breakfast menu was satisfying, you can pick up 2 plates and beverages, everything we ate was so delicious.

The big frosted glass window in the bathroom looking to street wasn’t nice. You could be seen from outside during bathing if the lights were in.

Nice designed small hotel! We love the girl at our breakfast station. She calls Rena! She is so warmly and helpful! We have to catchup the boat to Santorini and didn’t have to have breakfast, she just organized our takeout breakfast before our leaving! People like in the hotel service is not easy to find.

The noise during the night was still around 56 dB, normally for good sleeping we need under 30 dB. This is because of the city and street noise. I see the hotel already use very good quality of windows. We can recognize immediately die reduced noise after closing the window. But as I write before, I tested the noise dB at around 22:00, the average was at 56dB, the maximum was at 77dB. I just want to notice the guest, if they are sensitive to noise, please take the choice be careful.

We had such a great experience staying at Astikon House! The location is perfect — close to everything, yet peaceful and easy to get around. The staff at breakfast were so kind and welcoming, and the housekeeping lady was incredibly friendly — always smiling and making sure everything was spotless. The room and common areas were super clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay again💓
