Location is brilliant. Breakfast was good. Rooms are comfortable & clean. Excellent value for money. Not as personal maybe, as some of the hotels we stayed in on the islands but totally understand this is a city hotel with lots of people booking in & out, all the time. For our budget & needs, don't think we could have found a better hotel. Would totally recommend Pan Hotel, if you intend to be out & about & need a comfortable, safe place to rest your head.

Nothing really. Was so hot in Athens when we were there 40+C, a pool would have been nice.

Location is great. 3 mins from metro (which does port & airport), 15 min walk to Acropolis, good restaurants all around, fab ice-cream and famous bakery opposite. Bedroom for 4 was spacious and our teens had seperate beds and space. Breakfast was sufficient but some items medium quality (juice, cereal). The staff in the morning in breakfast room and reception were very friendly and attentive. Baggage storage safe and easy. Would return.

We arrived at around 18.30 on the Monday evening, 14th and check-in was very long and the receptionist (male) took 15 minutes without hardly saying anything. Every passport detail was slowly recorded and then keys handed over. Basically not welcoming, friendly or efficient so gave bad first impression. Luckily everything after that - room and staff encountered thereafter were wonderful.

Location is great, only a few minutes walk from the Metro station in Syntagma Square (an easy 40 minute transfer from the airport), and within easy walking distance of the main attractions in Athens, including the Plaka district with dozens of bars, cafes and tavernas. Despite being very central, there was no noise from outside at night. Staff all very friendly and helpful

It's a small hotel, so limited facilities, but had all we needed. Breakfast is ok but a bit predictable: we stayed four nights and was exactly the same every day. Rooms are fairly basic, but clean and comfortable.

The breakfast was a great start to the day, the breakfast hostess was very helpful. Room service each day. All the staff are helpful. The gelato bar across the street is fab and the restaurant right next door to it serves good greek food at reasonable prices. Hotel is far enough away from the madness of the plaka area. Rooms at the back of the building are quite. The elevator music was fun.

No coffee satchels, sugar or milk replenishment in the room after the first day even though there is a kettle supplied.

Perfect central location for an overnight on the way from flight to ferry and sailing from Piraeus - and vice versa. Close to metro, and a great selection of restaurants near by. Our room was toward the busy street but noise could not be heard when window was closed. AC kept the room comfortable and cool, and bed was comfortable and much appreciated after 2 weeks in a boat cabin. Breakfast selection suited our taste, no fry-up available, but boiled eggs and toast, jams, cereals, bread rolls, cheeses and lovely Greek yogurt and honey. Great value for money.

The facilities &decoration style are a little bit ‘tired’, but absolutely suitable for a 3 star accommodation , and very clean.

Location was superb and the staff are probably the most friendly I've met over the past few years staying throughout Europe, especially the lady that does breakfast, i forget her name, she couldn't do enough for you.

The room was basic but functional. A bit more attention to detail for example, there is a kettle but no teabags or milk. The toilet seat came off in my hands when I lifted it ( I repaired it by tightening the screws myself). If these issues were not there I would have scored higher.

Pan Hotel is located next to Santagma Square, and around the corner of the famous Plaka area, which makes the location excellent. The room was small, but more than adequate for our one-night stay. Staff were very helpful, and we were allowed to leave our luggage at the front desk before we checked in. The breakfast selection was more than adequate, and the quality was great.

The lift is extremely small, so we used the stairs. Balcony extremely small, and table was wobbly.

The breakfast exceeded our expectations and we really appreciated having a good meal that could satisfy us until later in the day. The location of the hotel was excellent…..close to everything we wanted to visit or to get anything. We were only there for 2 nights and were quite happy with the room.. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Can’t think of anything we disliked. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable place, in a grand location, for a very reasonable price. And a lovely breakfast too !!!

For the price and location this is a very good hotel. Room and bathroom very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine though choices limited. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and sites. Public transport very good with Metro to airport only a few minutes walk away (cost is 9 euro one way).

Because of the location it is quite noisy. Hotel lift is very small and stairs would be an issue if someone had mobility issues.

The location of the Pan Hotel is excellent. Very central, a short stroll from Syntagma Square. The staff, from the reception area to the cleaners and the breakfast area was great. All of them with a greeting and a smile. The price was reasonable considering its location. Breakfast was good, not amazing, but it is a small 3 star. There was always something for everyone in our family of 4 people. It was super clean from the rooms to the reception and breakfast. The lady who runs the breakfast area was amazing. She was very helpful and anticipated everyone's needs.

The only thing we didn't like was the small lift. Just big enough for 4 people standing to attention. We had to send 1 person up with our luggage and it took 2 runs. Not a huge issue - its not something that they can change.
