Room facilities are great, the reception and cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Breakfast is served to your room from with a good range of options, the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Location is fantastic within walking distance to Plaka, Arcopolis, main museums and Syntagma metro, tourist spots and food markets. For example, if you are doing any walking tours, you are right next to most of the tour meet up points. Very good options of restaurants, cafes and shopping nearby. The recommended driver for airport transfer Mr Stamatis was wonderful and I highly recommended him for a larger family group. We also used his services for lovely private tour to Nafplio and Epidaurus. We have been to several boutique apart hotels in Madrid, London and Venice in the last two years and I would say that Athens Ikon probably ranks a joint no. 1 in our ranking together with the Canaletto Luxury Suites in Venice.

The hotel's modern design and stylish decor immediately impressed me. Our room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the staff was attentive and always ready to assist. They recommended several excellent restaurants for dining. The central location made it easy to explore Athens, with major sites just a short walk away. Breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to start the day. I highly recommend Athens Ikon Hotel for a comfortable and memorable stay in the Plaka area.

The bathroom sink was slow to drain, and they didn't provide enough towels for all the guests. They addressed both with a phone call to the front desk

We loved the location, the staff was welcoming and very positive, the breakfast was definitely reasonable.

Noise throughout the day, if you try to sleep during the day it is difficult as you are sometimes woken up by noise. There was one day when they did not change the sheets even though we took them off the bed, they took the same sheets away - a bizarre event.

The reception lady was very nice and helpful, all the time wanted to assist and gave us recommendations where to eat and travel with the kids, the room was very clean and comfortable and in the center , the breakfast was very good and had various items to choose from

In the evening you can hear the street outside the room but you can live with it, nothing to bad

The rooms are very clean, high tech, many amenities, comfortable. The receptionist, named 'Erika' was more than wondeful, polite, and very welcoming, she represent the facility in the best manner. The facility management despite being so strict in rules and displaying the guests rights, they are very flexible when it comes to guest requests trying to please the guests as much as they can.

Some suites have internal court views only.

Perfect location to walk to all historic sites and restaurants. Great staff. Beautiful rooms. Great security. Staff will take care of you greatly. Breakfast is awesome.

Make sure you have a driver that knows where it is as the entrance is only a door along a road with no parking. Don not drive yourself here. You can miss the entrance even after coming back from a day of sightseeing.

Large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite. perfect location!! Very Clean. Breakfast was good. Quiet room. I would highly recommend, worked out well for family of 5 people.

the single bed for 5th person was not very comfortable, short stay of 2 days was fine but would have been an issue if staying for the week. might not be bad for young child. we arrived at 10:00 am but we’re not given early check in, felt like room was ready but would not give early which was frustrating as this was our first day after landing. we went back to front desk at 1:00 and 2:00, still no early check in, the front desk tried to make up for it but still left a bad taste.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Athens Ikon. This small boutique hotel has spacious studios that are beautifully furnished in the modern style, immaculately clean, and well-appointed. Our room, Room 6, has an enormous, gorgeous terrace. The hotel is located within walking distance to the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, shopping, and many other Athens' sights. The hotel staff are so gracious and hospitable and can assist with every need. Will most definitely stay there again on our next trip!

We loved everything!

we were three women and two babies and it was an amazing experience we felt safe and comfortable, the rooms were modern clean and very spacious the staff were friendly and very helpful with every issue we had , the location is perfect in the middle of the centr near almost to everything .I highly recommend this place especially to families or group of friends.

the only downside was that the staff is formed on each shift from one person, and to get into the hotel they need to open for you , we had once to wait for almost 20 min for someone to open the door for us .

The hotel is located just a step away from Syntagma square and metro station. Close to everything you want to explore in Athens like, restaurants, bars, attractions etc. The staff was friendly and helpful, professional and polite. The room was cozy and clean, offering all the amenities we wanted for our stay. The fully equipped kitchen was a must especially for them who want an extended stay with children. Super fast WIFI. We totally recommend it.
