SPECTACULAR hotel! Of all the places we stayed across six countries in Europe in three weeks, this was the best hotel by far. The food included in breakfast was spectacular. The staff were spectacular, and the location is great! Both restaurants, the bakery, plus the third around the corner are spectacular! I can’t describe effectively how much we enjoyed the food! The room was really nice and very comfortable other than the AC not quite cooling effectively. Loved the antique elevator. There is a modern elevator also but the antique elevator had been modernized and works. We truly loved and would recommend to anyone!!!

AC never really cooled the room to a proper level but was comfortable for the most part. Shower had a little mold and mildew in the floor grout! That is lazy cleaning and simply needs a good cleaner and brush to kill and clean. Otherwise super clean room. An iron and board would be great, plus an ice machine. But during business hours either restaurant will provide ice.

This is absolutely one of the most amazing places I've stayed in. My partner celebrated her birthday, and the hotel staff arranged balloons decoration and an assortment of fresh Greek delights and a wine bottle. The hotel has their own bakery which amazing and a great way to start your day with fresh handmade pastries! Wake up to this smell is sooo good. The hotel is situated in a prime location at the heart of Athens. Walking distance from all the main attractions. The hotel is located conveniently between Syntagma square and Monastiraki square and Acropolis. The room was beautiful and big with everything needed: shower included vanity kit, hair dryer, towels, shampoo, hair conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and body lotion. The room had a mini bar, closer, safe, big sofa in addition to the bed. You can pick if you wish to have your breakfast at this hotel or at their bigger hotel. I recommend trying both. The hotel has a rooftop with a great restaurant. The staff was so nice and took care of everything we needed.

Wonderful hotel rooms above the Ergon Bake house.Very comfortable and great in room facilities.Our only issue was the noise level from out side...We appreciate the hotel is in the centre of Athens, but ear plugs were needed to sleep. The hotel staff were extremly accommodating and moved us to a higher floor room which did help. Amazing breakfast included, upper level bar and restaurant excellent. We also eat a couple of nights in Ergon House, just 1min walk..Lively bar and eatery, in house Deli and incredible food. All the staff we had the pleasure to meet were extremly welcoming, and always available to geniuenly help in any way. Thank you to both the Ergon Bakery, and Ergon House for making our week in Athens so memorable.

Had an amazing stay at this place in Athens! The location was perfect, and being above a bakery was a delightful bonus—waking up to the smell of fresh bread every morning was a treat. The breakfast was fantastic, the room was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Overall, a great experience, and I’d definitely stay here again!

The street noise was quite noticeable, and I had to use earplugs to sleep comfortably. They helped, but I understand that some noise is unavoidable when staying close to the city center.

A lovely hotel with stylish furnishings and a calm, boutique feel. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, which made a real difference. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious and beautifully presented. The only minor downside was that on the second morning, there wasn’t the full selection of pastries available. We also dined at the hotel restaurant one evening and were really impressed with the quality of the food. Overall, a great base for exploring the city with genuine hospitality and thoughtful touches.

The rooms can be a little noisy, but that’s to be expected given the central location in Athens.

The entrance to the hotel is a bakery. You walk in and the staff of the bakeshop is constantly making a variety of baked goods. The smell from the bakery gracefully wafts throughout the hotel and is intoxicating. The hotel staff is warm and very welcoming. They easily met my request for an early check in and ensured that I had everything I needed to enjoy Athens. The breakfast in the morning is CATERED to the guests. They encourage you to try everything and they won't stop until you are full! Beautiful property with a variety of room sizes. Do know that the small room is SMALL, but when I was walking in the morning and seeing housekeeping clean, there are VERY large rooms on the property. The rooftop restaurant is great and the drinks there are top notch. I can say this is a great launch of a new property and after you walk in the smell will keep you coming back!

Everything was great. The only thing I didn't love was the fact that EVERYONE knows the bakery is great and I had to wait in line for amazing pastries!

Very elegant rooms, very good breakfast, great location. And the staff personals provides an excellent service.

We had an early flight, the breakfast box is shameful, boils egg with very few elements, and each element has small portion. I was expecting from a bakery house to offer something awesome as an alternative to missed breakfast, but I've got something I'm sending to my child 10am breakfast at his kindergarten..

I love the ambiance and decor of the room. Our fridge was filled with refreshments and snacks. The toiletries made by them in the shower was a bonus that we didn't expect. We ended up buying a few of the shower gels, shampoo, and lotion to bring back home. It was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff, especially Shungi, was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. We were unable to eat our breakfast the next morning because we had an early ferry to catch. Shungi made sure to get the staff to pack a light breakfast for us to take to the ferry station the following morning. The food and their bakery was incredible! We look forward to returning to Athens just to stay at the Ergon Bakehouse!

I almost didn't want to write a review in order to keep this little hidden gem a secret! This brand new hotel did not disappoint. It hits the mark on so many levels, great rooms, amazing smell of cinnamon waking us every morning, friendly staff, awesome food and eco-friendly products and approach. The food was incredible - breakfast included and loved it so much that we ate dinner in the restaurant a few times also! Location is excellent - in the heart of everything and easy to reach. Good air conditioning in the rooms.

I have given a 9/10 because the street facing rooms are a little noisy. Unfortunately, the hotel was full and we couldn't change rooms, but the staff gave us earplugs which worked well. They are opening a roof top bar (will be great once it opens) and the construction work also contributed a bit to the noise. All of these are short-term issues and can easily be fixed.

Brilliant location with plenty of restaurants at your finger tips. The bakery is to die for and the breakfast is exceptional. Really modern and well appointed rooms, we were also given an upgrade to a larger room which was a lovely surprise. The welcome drink in the bar upstairs and goodies in the room were also such a nice touch. Would absolutely recommend this hotel!

The room was quite noisey at night but the hotel provides earplugs so it was only a minor issue.
