It's just been renovated and it's beautiful. I'd say the best hotel in Athens and its my goto hotel on every trip. The staff are awesome and extremely hospitable and they make you feel like it's your home. Congratulations to the staff for being so awesome Its right in the heart of the city and action in the best shopping district. I promise you that you won't be disappointed with this gem...

Early check in , roof top is the best can see few archeological sites, staffs supper friendly. Next to Metro , to and from airport for just Euro 18 instead of 100 Euro by taxi. Metro friendly. City centre , many tax free shops and restaurants.

We always stay here for the family NYE holiday trip to Athens as it offers a great location in the heart of the city. The hotel is cozy and warm on winter while the beds are a dream to sleep on. The staff is always helpful and friendly. As it concerns breakfast, it is fine.Nothing to go crazy about, but it filled out needs.

Prefer to book the rooms facing Ermou str. They seem to place booking.com clients in the back rooms, which are smaller - especially the bathroom. The view on the back rooms is building walls with lots of aircondition units making noise if you keep the window open. This is what happened to us this year as we forgot to ask for the front rooms.

very nice hotel.; recently renovated, staff very nice as well. Shout out to Fofi at front desk-she was very nice and friendly. Room was clean and modern design. pretty quiet for being right at beginning of the shopping area in Plaka but on border of Syntagma Square (so location was perfect.) Rooftop Bar was lovely with view of Acropolis, and the bartenders knew how to make cocktails for sure. Excellent! Dinner menu was limited but the food was very good. Breakfast buffet was excellent as well. all in all, we enjoyed our stay at Electra Rhythm and would definitely stay there again if ever returning to Athens . Highly recommend.

Fantastic location, great roof top restaurant where breakfast is served which has amazing views of the Acropolis. The rooms are very comfortable, and staff are very accommodating when I asked if we could check out a little a later.

Don't let this put you off as it is a great hotel, it's a busy area and taxis drop you off about 15 metres from the hotel as it's a pedestrian only road, so you will need to carry bags a short way to the hotel over a cobbled street. We arrived with lots of bags which was a bit of a challenge as I didn't want to leave any bags unattended. Once you get closer to the hotel the staff promptly help you in.

I liked everything except that at dinner, the hostess refused to seat me in preferred seating. Everyone wants to sit outside where there are views of the Parthenon. I was traveling solo. There were empty tables outside so I asked to be seated there. The hostess claimed that the tables were reserved. Understandable. So I decided to sit at the bar so I could make the best of the views as possible. However, I sat at the bar to relax and after two hours, no one had showed up for their “reserved” tables. Saving available tables for potential bigger parties is poor service to single guests that paid the same amount of money to stay at your hotel.

We arrived again at the hotel we love very much in Athens and the surprise was big. The hotel has been renovated and everything is amazing. The Active room was spacious and comfortable. They thought of everything for the guest's comfort. The staff is smiling and happy to help. We will be back again. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality.

The breakfast is nice, it could and should be enriched with more vegetables. And the person in charge of the morning, Georgiya, is simply unpleasant and angry and does not fit the good energy of the entire team there.

Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and delicious. There were lots of options. We spent a good deal of time at the gorgeous rooftop bar enjoying the view of Acropolis with fab drinks made by Christof. He was professional and so fun to talk to. We really enjoyed his company. Lastly, I can’t commend the staff at the front desk enough in being communicative and invaluable in helping me get my cell phone back as I had left it in an Uber right before we left for a cruise. It was eventually returned and I picked it up on the way to the airport the following week. Ten stars for Electra and their staff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved the Electra Hotel on Ermou! We stayed here to celebrate my partner's special birthday and we certainly chose the right hotel! I had a number of emails in advance of our stay to arrange a few special surprises for my partner. Guest relations representative Aggeliki was fantastic, wholly professional and contributed with useful suggestions. We stayed in a room on the 4th floor with windows opening onto Ermou, the pedestrian street outside, but the windows were soundproof so we were never disturbed by noise from outside. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom had a lovely bathtub we enjoyed and breakfast each morning was an excellent buffet with a great view of the Acropolis, just wow! We had dinner on XFloor Restaurant one evening and the food was very good. The fish we had there was better than other places we tried while in Athens. We were charmed by the Electra on Ermou and will stay here again when we return to Athens! <3

Personally I did not like the pedestrian street Ermou but that was nothing to do with the Electra. We just went down the side and back streets, much nicer and more interesting. We did not come to Athens for shopping, Ermou was crowded and noisy but not a problem for us, we just went elsewhere.

We stayed in one of the 9th floor suites which were a good size and very comfortable. The hotel is located on the main shopping mall with everything being easily accessible.

The property has recently been fully refurbished & modernised. We believe as such the chef was attempting to be too pretentious with the menu. The food was far from palatable at least for us. Luckily there are any number of restaurants in and around the plaka that serve traditional Greek cuisine.
