Location and Staff Very efficient and helpful

I thought the restaurant was a bit over rated

Location excellent . Spacious bright room and super comfortable bed and large lovely bathroom . We had requested a walk in shower rather than an over bath shower which the hotel had been able to accommodate and was appreciated . Great stay, excellent staff , fabulous breakfast with stunning views of Acropolis and guest use of Grand Bretagne the sister hotel , Spa and swimming next door was really utilised and appreciated

Nothing !! Only one suggestion to try improve tea /coffee making facility , as it’s in in a small cupboard, it was tricky to negotiate making drinks where to place cups etc maybe some pull out tray to offer bit more space?

The staff. My 4 year old daughter fell ill in the middle of the night and the evening staff went out of their way to get medicine to help her feel better. I am very grateful. The location was great. The hotel gave us great dining recommendations.

This is somewhat my fault but it wasn’t entirely clear to me that the property doesn’t have an on premise pool. You are allowed to use the pool at the sister property but it’s the spa pool and is located in the basement. The rooftop pool at the sister property is not available to King George guests. This is disappointing, especially with a child and when it’s scorching hot.

Lovely hotel with a roomy quiet luxurious room. Staff were kind, thoughtful, attentive, and warm. The bathroom was great with high ende Byredo products, comfortable robes, adn thoughtful Christmas touches of traditional greek cookies and an almond aperitivo. A lovely experience!

Sadly I was unable to use the hotel bar because of Christmas Eve but I was able to use the neighboring sister hotel bar. They should make an exception for guests!

The staff were efficient, polite and friendly also most helpful. The rooms were well appointed, light and airy with a good ambience. The dining area quite beautifully appointed with great wait staff. Breakfast was delicious. Being able to access the Grande Bretagne restaurant, the sister hotel next door, was an added bonus. the roof terrace there is without compare for views over the Acropolis.

Almost nothing. It was a really great stay and we liked the rooms better than the Grande Bretagne, where we stayed last time in Athens. Mainly due the the lightness and airiness of the beautifully appointed rooms. Such a lovely ambience at the King George.

10 out of 10!!! A five-star hotel that deserves every single star. It was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The room was comfortable, the amenities were top-notch, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again in the future and I duly recommend it if you want to feel that you are in a palace and to be treated as a prince or princess for a few days.

The facilities need some serious updating, our room was switched / upgraded due to mold in the bathtub of the room we booked

Our extended family recently spent several wonderful days at the King George Athens. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the restaurants and the views were amazing, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Everyone from the reception desk to the concierge to the doormen to the restaurant staff was pleasant, helpful, and a delight to interact with.
