The hotel boasts an absolutely perfect and central location for exploring Athens. It's ideally situated for anyone wanting to visit the city center and is surrounded by an abundance of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and breakfast spots. It was spotlessly clean and cozy. While I did spot a few small ants (around 5-6) in the bathroom on my last day, I believe this was likely due to the heat and it wasn't a significant issue. Our room was lovely and well-equipped, complete with a nice balcony. The majority of the reception staff were incredibly welcoming, with Johanna and Themetra standing out for their exceptional hospitality. However, there was one receptionist whose name I don't recall, mainly covering night shift, who was rude for no apparent reason.

Only one unwelcoming staff member at night ( NOT JOHANNA AND NOT THEMETRA) my stay was very positive, primarily due to its excellent location. I also felt a littllllle bit uncomfortable with no receptionist at night after 10pm.

Let’s start with the early check-in with no extra charge The room was clean towels are clean floor is clean there was a nespresso machine and two free water and for sure a mini bar close to the city Center the spa and the massage were good The lady at the front desk who was upon the check in she helped us contacting the airport in order to find our lost luggage Breakfast was an extra $10 per person which is affordable We’ve Requested boiled egg she made it immediately for us Highly recommended

As a tourist upon the checkout, we are requested to pay half a euro for the tax per night which we do not know about it

Excellent location and EXCEPTIONAL 5 STAR service. The reception staff, especially Ms. Despina at front desk went ABOVE AND BEYOND to accommodate myself and my many requests and questions. She was eager to help with anything, no matter how big or small, with a smile on her face. From restaurant recommendations, to upgrading my room, to date changes. I even forgot my passport at the hotel, and Ms. Despina found a solution to get my passport (and bank cards to me), without me missing my flight. She was ALWAYS at the ready and didn’t skip a beat. I have NEVER experienced exceptional service like this before. I will only be staying at this hotel in Athens from now on. Highly recommended - for the service alone! The hotel itself is great too. The shower was also one of the best I’ve used too. Lots of hot water and strong water pressure and even included a loofah. Just PERFECT.

Small faux pax with receiving frayed bath towels, but honestly, I genuinely can’t think of anything else.

The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room very quiet even though we were quite close to bars and restaurants.

The only downside was during check-in. The hotel wrote down all my credit card information on a piece of paper (over a section for my passport details), including the card number, expiration date, and CVV. I found this quite unusual and have never experienced it before. The staff explained that it was for a deposit, and if I didn’t want a piece of paper with all my card information floating around, I would need to pay the deposit in cash. This made me very uncomfortable, and I’m pretty sure it violates European data protection laws. From my experience hotel deposits or card blocks are made with card machines or computer to avoid security problems. As a result, I decided to cancel my card as a precaution after returning home.

I can only recommend this hotel. It is very convenient, as you can easily reach main attractions by foot, and the metro is not that far away as well. The rooms are very clean, modern, and the bathroom is one of a kind. The staff is extremly supportive and helpful (big thanks to Dimitra and Joanna!). Although the hotel doesn't serve breakfast directly, it offers the opportunity to grab something opposite the ally. I took the opportunity to grasp the morning atmosphere of the city, while having morning coffee and breakfast outside. Overall, a very pleasant stay, it was my favourite in Athens

There is nothing to improve from my point of view. The only thing I regret is that I had no time to use the spa. It looked very inviting

The staff are so wonderful, kind and helpful. The location is excellent!! Walking distance from the main archaeological sites, in the heart of the buzzing restaurant/nightlife scene, wonderful street food + top end restaurants nearby. Walking distance to main local square, metro station and grocery stores. Ideal for kids or resting in the afternoon - even in April you felt the Greek heat! The room is spacious, modern and comfortable. Cleaned to a high standard everyday. The breakfast is adequate but average. The coffee is excellent though! My husband really enjoyed the massage treatment. I like that you can arrange the treatments yourself via the app. Kid friendly and the additional sofa bed is large and cozy.

The pool is included for 1 hr a day but the sauna/jacuzzi/steam room are all extra charges which I don't think is right if you are a guest at the hotel. The pool itself is nice but cold, it says heated pool but it didn't feel it. The shower area for the pool has a lot mould that should be addressed- I did not want my family to stand on the mouldy tiles.

We stayed in the Acropolis view rooftop suite, which was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Super balcony to enjoy the morning sun with a coffee. Great to have the Nespresso machine in the room (although could have done with a few extra pods). The toiletries provided for use were lovely, and the little gift on check out was a lovely surprise. Great location for some lovely little bars and restaurants, and a pleasant short walk to the Acropolis. Staff were lovely, and very helpful and friendly. We would certainly stay here again in this room.

This hotel is in the perfect location, and I cannot be more clear - perfect. Directly outside is a lovely little bruch/lunch place where you can get amazing coffee, food and just chill in the morning or afternoon. Literally minutes walk away is the best area in town for local Taverns and resturants which really make the night life, and of course endless bars for a drink. Come out the hotel, turn left (you see the brunch place) and then straight ahead is also a little 'corner shop' which has all the little things you might need, snacks, bottled water and beer! Then a 5 minute walk and you are at the train station.. what more do you need?! The staff here were amazing, extremely helpful and we got a lovely bunch of flowers on our arrival as were were on our honeymoon! This was a lovely gesture! The hotel room was clean, tidy and the little coffee bar, mini fridge was well stocked with good quality items. We had a little issue with the room, the air con made a bit of a noise but they came straight away, and in the end moved us into another room - which was quick and efficient. They arranged a taxi to and from the airport for us, which removed that stres and gave us recommendations for food in the local area. Due to its location, and the calm envrionment inside if I return to Athens I will stay here, it is a no brainer.

My only critique is the breakfast was limited, and the roof 'bar' wasnt a bar as no alcohol is served. A great location for a little bar for the evenings would be ideal. Its open for Tea and Coffee but this wasnt really required. Breakfast we had twice in the week and was fresh and tasty, coffee was lovely. However it was a limited selection. As there are so many local options this may be why it is limited. We went to the local brunch cafe (just outside) which was amazing. Nice to walk 10 yards and have breakfast. I admit there is a large local presence of bars, so this might be why they do not offer alcohol on the roof.

All staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The economy room was very comfortable, bed and pillows great, with coffee machine, fridge and strong wifi. Access to the private pool was a massive bonus, it was easy to book on line and readily accessible during the three days we were there. The location is superb, very close to a multitude of eating places, an easy walk to the Metro, the Placa and many other historical sites. While we didn’t have breakfast at the property we did access the rooftop area at different times during our stay. It was a great spot to sit and read your book or have a quiet drink (supplied by ourselves). We loved our time at The Residence.

The location was perfect for us. Staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating and keen to make your stay as stress free as possible. Pool was lovely. Bed comfy. Great big shower although, like a lot in Athens, the whole floor is a drain so be careful with the slippy floor. Water in fridge, tea and coffee.

We were in the room next to the main door so were worried we wouldn’t get much sleep but we heard nothing from the hallway until next again morning and even then it was minimal. There was a coffee shop just outside our window and people were queuing but again not much noise. It looked as if we had two sets of windows which made us feel safe and of course kept the noise to a minimum. Coffee shop closes at 9pm so after that it is super quiet.
