It is a newish small hotel just as we like. It is located in the center and near a metro station. The staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. They helped us book a taxi whenever we needed one. They even kindly prepared us sandwiches and bottles of water, juice and some fruit to take with us to the airport on our last day since our reservation included breakfast and we left very early. The breakfast had an open buffet type but you can order one item from "a la carte". You also get a cup of orange juice and a jar of cold water. The breakfast Buffet included coffee, tea, 3 kinds of jams, pie, bread, fruit, a cake, cereals and milk (I think I covered it). I have to say that the people (the waiters and the cooks) who worked in the breakfast restaurant were very friendly, welcoming and kind. Regarding our room, it was spacious and clean with a very big comfortable bed. Each person gets two pillows, which is a big plus for us :) There was a coffee machine (with coffee capsules) and a kettle (with tea bags) in the room. There was also a fridge and we were told that we can use the plastic water bottle in the fridge for free. There were also enough hangers in the open closet. The bath is very spacious and equipped with shampoo and body-wash but you should know that it is transparent so if you are travelling with your friend or family it might be a problem for you. We really liked our stay there and we will definitely come back.

The TV in the room didn't include sports channels. The breakfast was Ok but if they had added some vegetables to the buffet (e.g. tomatoes, cucumber, olives) and some kinds of cheese and flavoured yogurt, it would have been excellent.

Great combo breakfast. We loved the freshly squeezed orange juice. I enjoyed the homemade granola and the Avocado toast choice. My husband loved the scrambled eggs and salad. It was possible to make adjustments to the items on the menu, (ie, no chorizo in the eggs) and sides one could add for a modest fee ( ie yummy mushrooms). The dining area is light and cheerful. We also very much appreciated the super kind and helpful reception and general staff. It is close to fun places and restaurants, and the metro. A very comfortable bed, lovely shower. Although the views were of backstreet Athens, the private verandah was a delightful place to sit for a rest or a drink.

We were there for 3 nights as part of an extended trip in Greece and we had 4 travel trollies. There was nowhere to unpack apart from some hangers so we had to live out of our suitcases. The sink in the bathroom, IMHO, lacked a shelf above it for ladies cosmetics etc

L'Avventura hotel is a small hotel located in an alley from Ermou. There is a Hammam on the 1st floor, and the reception is on the 3rd floor. The room is modernly decorated, decorative glass separates the bathroom from the bedroom - at least the toilet has a door... Since there was a problem with the air conditioning in the room, I was upgraded (for a small additional fee) to a stunning suite with a balcony in the new wing of the hotel that had just opened. Here too, the bathroom was separated by decorative glass, and there was a separation between the bedroom and the living room - which was very convenient. The staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast that is served on the 4th floor, includes free cereal and coffee, and a choice of a dish from the menu. Delicious and fresh. Recommended.

I don't understand the design of a bathroom separated by glass from the bedroom. And with no door, at least the toilet has a door... It’s nice if you are a couple but I was traveling with friends.

The hotel is very modern and clean and the location is exceptional. I travelled as a solo female during off-peak season - the hotel is right on the corner of lots of restaurants/bars and main attractions are within walking distance. It is also easy to get to the hotel via metro and a short walk from Monastiraki sq. I felt extremely safe in the area. Mod cons in the room including smart TV, Nespresso machine, mini fridge (with complimentary water that was replenished each day) and air con. There were also really lovely toiletries, robe and slippers, and rainwater shower that are most welcome after a day full of walking. The balcony was peaceful and the bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast is served at Zampanos (3min walk), and you can choose an item each day from their Combo menu. All of the items I tried were very tasty and the staff there were very attentive and service was great.

The reception staff were not particularly communicative, and I'm pretty sure my room was downgraded from the original room type I had booked - I believe I was allocated a standard double with balcony (room type names differ slightly on booking.com/Vs hotel website). The room was still lovely though, and I arrived late in the evening and did not notice the room type until day 2 when I couldn't be bothered asking to be moved.. so I would suggest not bothering to pay the extra for a deluxe as the standard (with balcony) was large enough and facilities seem to be the same.

The location was great, super close to all the main attractions in Athens, restaurants and close to the bus and train stations making it easy to get around. The staff at the checkin and checkout were nice and friendly. The room was great, nice bed with many pillows, the coffee maker and kettle was nice, there was a mini fridge in the room, and the water bottles were free. The bathroom was nice, the toilet was separate from the shower. The TV is smart, so you can watch all the series and movies that you like. The hotel is doing some renovations, they are making a restaurant to facilitate the breakfast experience, but as for now they offer breakfast at a restaurant close by, and they even give you a 10% discount if you didn't book breakfast with your stay.

The elevator was tiny, but it didn't bother me as much since I didn't have many bags, and most of the buildings are old so you can't expect much. The stairs are an option since the hotel only has 4 floors. There is a church around, so there was a calling/prayer in the morning and bells, which I didn't mind either, it helped me get up.

We stayed in the Acropolis Suite, which was spacious, with 2 balconies giving us a 360-degree view of the city. We could also see the Acropolis from bed! The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was modern with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The unit was well thought out with lots of outlets and USB ports for charging. I loved having the mirror and sink separate from the shower (and the toilet was separate from both) making it easy to get ready (there was also a full length mirror in the room). We used the small refrigerator and appreciated having coffee in the room, even though we were able to step out of our room into the breakfast area. There were one or two tables in the breakfast area (which is below the Acropolis Suite) that had an Acropolis view, but we let others have those since we had the best view possible from our room. The entrance is off an alley, but there are a few lively restaurants in the alley, so it never felt secluded. There are steps up to the entrance, and the elevator is tiny, but this didn’t bother us at all. We loved the Psyri neighborhood!! It was amazing to just walk out and have dozens of restaurants and bars to choose from, but our room was very quiet. We walked to all the major attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I have to give a particular shout out to Armando, who not only arranged our transport to the airport (and then changed it for us when we decided to leave later), but on one day we were leaving early for an excursion and were going to miss breakfast. By the time I thought of telling him it was pretty late the night before. Armando went above and beyond by personally preparing some sandwiches to go and bringing them to our room so we wouldn’t go hungry. There is also a Hammam in the building that would have been nice to try. This hotel made our visit to Athens extraordinary. We’d 100% stay here again in the Acropolis Suite.

The location of this Hotel in Athens is a winner! located in Psirri near great bars and wonderful atmosphere. the staff on check in, helped us get our baggage from around the corner to our room. in our opinion it's quite amazing. we traveled with our daughter. Both of our rooms were clean, and on the same floor. We loved staying here.

There's one thing I found that didn't work for us in open space/studio style rooms. Once the shower is open to the main space, you have to plan bath time. The light will disturb when the other member is trying to get some slip.

We stayed here a year ago and loved it, and after our second visit we still enjoyed our stay although this time we had some issues. Our comments are minor and hopefully easy for the hotel to adjust. We noticed that the bathroom wall had raw mdf board nailed to it which seemed like a temporary fix and really brought down the appearance and feel of the room. The room’s AC felt too cold and couldn’t be adjusted to increase temperature. The bedside table lamps didn’t work. Also, last year we were treated with robes which we didn’t get this time. A minor detail but we were still disappointed!

Great location, close to everything, restaurants literally outside the hotel door. At the same time amazingly quiet, good sound insulation, blocking almost all outside noise. Hey, even AC was on a quiet side when put on low. Also very clean, very friendly reception and room service. Rooms look nice. Can't really fault this place.

I know "no toilet paper flushing" is a problem in Greece in general, but this being an issue in a new hotel was still bizarre and discomforting. You'd expect they install new proper piping throughout the building and then have some shredder or grinder deal with stuff before it reaches the sewers.

loved the location of this hotel , staff were lovely and really helpful, breakfast was delightful, tasty and filling. Bed was super comfortable, wonderful seafood restaurant right outside the hotel door and really close to bars and restaurants, would stay again 😀

it's a personal thing but there was glass separating the walk in shower from the bedroom so the person you are sharing with could see everything , I was with my husband so not an issue, but if I was with my friend I'd be reluctant!!
