Stayed 8 nights so comfort and cleanliness was especially important - temperature control works, ample power points, toilet and shower clean and water controls effective. Location is center of town is excellent near attractions and food and shopping. Beautiful view from balcony. Excellent breakfast. Service was good with one server at breakfast exceptional. While roadside parking is challenging to find in Athens lots are available earlier in morning and later in evening near hotel.

We got to the hotel at 8am with a 3pm check in time. They were very gracious, offering coffee and seating in air conditioning while we waited. Or we could shop around and walk and they would store our luggage. We opted to walk and eat and shop. They took plenty of time to explain all the recommendations we could want and point us in appropriate directions for sites. They answered every question thoroughly and were kind, helpful and patient. Rooms were exceptionally clean with nice AC. Ours wasn't working initially but it was fixed by the time we came back with no delay at check in and no room changes. The bathroom was also cleaned, services often and well without disturbance of our things. They even offered a small snack and drink in our room along with two bottles of cold water in the fridge. The room was incredibly quiet even though we were in a city center. It is in a vintage district so even though some may perceive it as run down, we didn't think that way. We saw the neighborhood as authentic and charming. Everyone was nice and we always felt safe. Breakfast was big and lots of options. The coffee was especially good.

No complaints! The AC didn't work in our room initially but they fixed it within hours while we were away. We returned from a hot day hiking through the city to a cool room that was very enjoyable!

I have stayed at this hotel twice, and its location remains one of its strongest selling points. The convenient location made it easy for us to explore the city without worrying about transportation. Given the hotel's excellent location, I found the prices to be very reasonable and great value for money. The reception staff were fantastic - friendly and helpful, offering some excellent recommendations.

We were absolutely amazed by the kind service, excellent room and condition of our stay. I cannot remember the name of the hotel personell who assisted us, but she was very sweet, helpful made our entire last night in Athens unforgettable. Thank you!!! Not only were we provided with a clean, spacious suite, we also had direct view of the Acropolis both from the balcony and inside the hotel room. The price was absolutely unbeatable, and the service provided well exceeded our expectations. We booked this room last minute after returning from island hopping, so we were unsure of what to expect. This was by far my favorite place to stay in Athens, I would definitely return to stay at this hotel again. Thank you for taking such great care og us. I will admit that we were hesitant to book a room based on some other reviews, but I am sooo soo glad that we did chose this hotel. We certainly had the most amazing experience. I recently had a great stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, and bars nearby, and it's super close to the Acropolis, making it a breeze to explore the area. The real highlight, though, was the staff. Their politeness and helpfulness went above and beyond, making my experience truly enjoyable. They are the main reason I rated my stay an 8 instead of a 7. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable, but the staff's excellent service really stood out. Thanks to everyone for making my stay so pleasant! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

While I had a great stay overall, there were a couple of issues that I think should be addressed. The TV in my room was not working, and the door lock had some issues with closing properly. For a 4-star hotel, I believe these problems should be resolved to meet the expected standards.

Very friendly and helpful girls at the reception. Thank you Tonia and Diona for taking a good care of us! We had a bad experience with another hotel and had to book a new hotel out of the blue. We found O&B and could not be happier. The receptionists not only gave us a good and clean room, but also great tips about fish restaurant and were very helpful to our needs. The breakfast was good and perfect opening buffet hours. The location is in Plaka, which is a questionable neighborhood. Nevertheless, the hotel gives good accommodation, and also rated as a save place from locals. It is next to touristic streets with nice restaurants, shops and Acropolis. Best Athen experience ever!

Hotel was not easy to find on Day 1 but after the first day we realised how central it was to Acropolis and other attractions. Everything is within walking distance. Breakfast was nice with plenty of options to choose from and staff was very accommodating. Our hotel room was spotless clean, mattress was very comfortable and even though our room was facing a narrow street, the windows were soundproof and we had very good sleep for 4 nights. If we are to go to Athens again, we would return to this hotel. Separate thank you to staff for recommending Tavern Klimataria - a nearby restaurant for dinner (very busy and better to pre book) - we loved the live music and homemade Greek dishes.

Friendly staff, hotel was clean and modern, reasonably close to the major sites and very good value for money. We had a room with a view of key historic sites which was definitely worth the small extra charge.

The hotel was not in the smartest part of town but it was perfectly acceptable. It was certainly an interesting part of town - there were good cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance and it was close to good shopping areas.

The hotel was in a great location for visiting the shopping district and the acropolis. The front desk staff was friendly and greeted us upon our arrival. Check in was quick and easy. Upon arriving at our room, one of the nightstands was broken. The staff came to look at it and brought a new one the next day. We were unable to make the handshower work but the water pressure was great. The Korre shower products were fantastic. We had breakfast one of the days and it was delish and we loved the yogurt.

Extremely thorough room cleaning every day. We were being a bunch of slobs admittedly, but they consistently tidied up our belongings in the room. Breakfast was good, small but very good selection. Excellent staff all around. Golden location, the entire area is the busiest in Athens, except this one little street. It felt calming to escape into it after all the buzz.

The (mens) bathroom at the breakfast area needs some refurnishing. One chair in the breakfast area was broken (2nd table from the left, the seat is collapsed).
