First and foremost the customer service supporting travelers especially when at unfortunate events. The hotel manager graciously accepted to move our non-refundable booking due to the global IT issue that resulted in our flights being cancelled and moved two days ahead! They managed to accommodate us without extra charge acknowledging the special circumstances and making us smile again! This hits the core of true and honest hospitality. Other than that the hotel is at a great location with excellent staff and wonderful breakfast.

The room is big and comfortable and with quality furniture though a bit outdated. Not really an issue at this price

The breakfast was really nice - lots of good options to choose from. The staff are really nice and chilled out - we were told the pool closed at 7pm but no one came and made us leave which was really appreciated. The pool area is really lovely and what made this place worth staying at and is not too busy which was ideal. AC is the rooms worked really well!

It's a bit rough around the edges for a 5 star hotel, I think the rooms could be modernised - but i guess this is reflected in the price. The bed was too hard for my personal taste. I think also with the breakfast, if you go later, lots of the food options have started to be limited - they really need to be proactive in refilling the bread basket, the fruit bowls etc otherwise it doesn't feel like you have much choice, which is what I'd expect from a 5 star hotel.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was perfect for a family with two kids – easy access without the need for elevators, which made handling our luggage so much easier. The location is great, very close to the city center, and we loved the balcony surrounded by trees – it added such a peaceful touch to our mornings. A special mention to the morning receptionist – he was truly a gem, incredibly kind and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Small, comfortable building, not many rooms. Parking garage. Huge apartment. New towels and bedlinen, good bathroom kosmetic.

Ready for update or upgrade. Everything is a bit old, squeaky, and rusty. From bathrooms to curtains. Matrases are very hard. And floors are very cheap for this kind of hotel. No kettle for water.

Good location in Kifissia. Short walk to the main shopping / area in Kifissia. We had a basement suite which was very spacious, perfect for our one night stay. Got to use the facilities for a buffet breakfast and swimming pool however you have to walk about 100m down the road to their other property to use these facilities. Not a terrible inconvenience for the price you pay. Buffet breakfast was good.

Pool was cold

Beautiful rooms, quiet neighbourhood and good location. Reception staff was very helpful and friendly.

If you are booking this place know that you may be denied room service depending on how busy they are as the actual kitchen is at their other residence 300m away. I orders a morning coffee and was denied because they were too busy to being to me. Also all the facilities are not at this location you need to walk to their other hotel to use the pool and spa. I made this mistake thinking I was booking a place with the facilities shown. These facilities shown are actually not here.

The suite was spacious and comfortable with huge bathroom. The parking was convenient. The outdoor pool is large and clean.

Be aware that there are no windows - it is a basement. For the price of the accommodation, there could have been at least a coffee making facility. Central Athens are actually quite far- 15 minutes walking to train station plus 1 hour by train (beat taxi is 25 minutes for about 20 euros - it cost us 40-60euros to get to Athens every day)

Location is perfect. Room nicely put together and spacious. Staff polite and attentive. Access to the pool at theoxenia Palace 100m away was a huge bonus during the summer heat wave.

The facilities are dated and it shows. No major breakdowns but for the overall image of the place and the cost of it, its inappropriate

Value for money

Small details could make it perfect e.g. tags at the breakfast buffet so you don't have to lift the lids on everything to see what is underneath, the balcony door needs fixing, the toilet brush was broken. Nothing important but small details if you want to be called a 5star hotel

This was an excellent hotel for us as we had to attend a wedding in the area . Quality room with excellent furnishings , good wifi. Comfortable beds and settee .The pool and breakfast buffet are at the main hotel, 5 minutes walk away .

We ordered breakfast on room service and the coffee arrived cold . We asked for a hot coffee and it was replaced without charge . Maybe a kettle with tea/coffee in the room will solve this problem
