Location is absolutely stunning. Wonderful staff; all over the place. very relaxed and unpretentious. One of the best beach hotels in the Mediterranean we have ever visited. Wine selection of greek wine is fantastic. We had some delicious local wines; truly impressive.

Reserving sunbeds at 6am in the morning shouldn‘t be allowed. If you are a newcomer and come a bit late to the beach there is a high risk that no sun-protected sunbeds are available. Of course most of them are empty but still reserved because some guests do get-up at dusk to make sure they have their bed once they arrive after breakfast. Fair to say that you will always find available sunbeds but we had to go far to find some…. The hotel should try to stop such behavior. In addition, towels were often times not available or supplied late. The towel Management has room for improvement..

I don’t even know where to begin! Minos Palace is truly a gem. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the most gracious and kind staff I have ever met. They genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel like you’re at home, adding that extra personal touch that makes all the difference. The facilities are nothing short of luxurious. Every corner of the resort is designed to perfection—whether you're lounging by the pristine pool or relaxing in the beautiful spa, it feels like you’ve stepped into a dream. And don’t even get me started on the food! The selection is absolutely incredible, with fresh and flavorful options to suit every taste. On top of that, the location is perfect. It's so close to the town center, making it easy to explore and enjoy local attractions while still having your peaceful escape. I’m already counting down the days until I can return. Nothing not to love!

The breakfasts were spectacular! My daughter got sick with vomiting and feeling poorly for 24 hours after eating our first night’s dinner of black sprinkled calamari.

The staff was simply amazing and super friendly! The food was good, the pool and beach facilities all very incredible and convenient.

Not about the property itself, but the guests leave towels to reserve chairs at the beach or at the pool but just for precaution it seems. We watched chairs with towels empty for more than 2 hours and people arriving at the beach with no place to sit because of it. The hotel could watch it more actively to avoid this behavior.

Almost everything, the design, the unbelievable good service and the overall experience. Simply WOW. If you find a deal with a price that suit you, this hotel is A MUST!

The toilet room is a bit undesigned-y and feels claustrophobic. Lack of small designs finishes were noticed, like stains of drywall on the floor in the joint ereas.

I spent a week solo at Minos Palace Resort in Agios Nikolaos, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. I stayed in an Infinity Blue room, which was absolutely stunning — modern, comfortable, and offering a breathtaking view of the sea. Waking up to that view every morning felt like a dream. The whole resort is incredibly peaceful and well-maintained. The infinity pool is perfect for relaxing, the private beach is beautiful and serene, and the lush green surroundings make it easy to fully unwind. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of fresh, local options — and I really appreciated how healthy and flavorful the food was throughout my stay. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, with a focus on quality and well-being. A special mention to the staff, especially the waiters who were always smiling, kind, and attentive — their warmth truly made a difference and made me feel very welcome as a solo traveler. I also treated myself to a one-hour massage at the spa, which was incredibly soothing and helped me completely relax. I left the resort feeling rested, recharged, and already dreaming of my next stay. Highly recommended!

The property is an oasis, and just as advertised. Coming from the US I had very high expectations and they met them with their amazing customer service. I have never been anywhere with such excellent service. They went above and beyond anything. We came in late and they made sure we had a beautiful dinner. Their spa was a 10/10 experience, the salt rock room! Excellent! The massage one of the best I’ve ever received. De-stressed is an understatement! Now the most important part, our honeymoon. Without asking they went above and beyond and placed a heart on our bed with flower pedals, champagne and even a healthy welcome drink upon arrival. My fiancé has never been to Europe and the flight was very long and they immediately made us feel the most relaxed! Their app was seamless and the touch of culture was excellent. Such amazing staff I felt like I was in a dream! The views, AMAZING! I would 100% come back! I really was disappointed that we only stayed for 4 nights! I would spent a lot more time at this resort next time. Also Agios was amazing and had a wonderful lake we went for restaurants as well! We stayed at 3 resorts and different cities in Greece and by far this was our top selection!

We didn’t stay long enough!

The Minos Palace was exceptionally beautiful - the decor throughout, minimal yet not cold. I must commend the interior designers - every detail was exquisite. Room had a gorgeous sea view and was very comfortable - however the bed & pillows were too mushy for my preference. I requested a firmer pillow which was delivered promptly. The extensive grounds were so beautifully landscaped - a dream! and the cliffside sun loungers overlooking Mirabello Bay were very comfy. All the staff were extremely kind and attentive without being intrusive.

I would have preferred to have one additional dining option - the food in both the Mom & Amar was very good but very similar - a sushi bar would have been a great addition and would blend with the brand.

We recently stayed at Minos Palace Resort and booked two rooms: one Sunrise Sea View Room in the main building and one Bungalow Sea View. The room in the main building was clearly more modern, likely renovated, but unfortunately quite noisy. On the other hand, the bungalow was the complete opposite: extremely peaceful, with a breathtaking view and a high level of privacy. Cleanliness was impeccable, though the room showed signs of wear and would definitely requires renovation. Breakfast was excellent, with high-quality food served in a beautifully designed space and on a stunning terrace overlooking the sea. The food in the resort’s restaurants was equally delicious, and the service throughout the dining areas was flawless. Overall, Minos Palace Resort offers a high-quality stay with beautiful surroundings, excellent food, and peaceful accommodations — especially in the bungalows. With more consistency in front desk hospitality and some room updates, it could easily reach top-tier status.

One thing we found curious was the contrast in staff attitude. Groundskeepers, cleaning staff, and other support personnel were consistently warm, smiling, and polite. Meanwhile, the reception staff were surprisingly unwelcoming — their attitude felt cold and distracted, often chatting or laughing among themselves while guests waited. Room service requests handled through reception also left us with a poor impression. The only exception was at check-out, when one staff member was truly professional and kind.

The absolute highlight of our trip to Crete. Most beautiful hotel, breakfast was perfect, bed was comfortable and the site is just breathtaking. The beach is private and stunning. Perfect for a stay in Agios Nikolaos, you can walk on the boardwalk down to the town. We can't wait to be back.
