Location is absolutely stunning. Wonderful staff; all over the place. very relaxed and unpretentious. One of the best beach hotels in the Mediterranean we have ever visited. Wine selection of greek wine is fantastic. We had some delicious local wines; truly impressive.

Reserving sunbeds at 6am in the morning shouldn‘t be allowed. If you are a newcomer and come a bit late to the beach there is a high risk that no sun-protected sunbeds are available. Of course most of them are empty but still reserved because some guests do get-up at dusk to make sure they have their bed once they arrive after breakfast. Fair to say that you will always find available sunbeds but we had to go far to find some…. The hotel should try to stop such behavior. In addition, towels were often times not available or supplied late. The towel Management has room for improvement..

I don’t even know where to begin! Minos Palace is truly a gem. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by the most gracious and kind staff I have ever met. They genuinely go above and beyond to make you feel like you’re at home, adding that extra personal touch that makes all the difference. The facilities are nothing short of luxurious. Every corner of the resort is designed to perfection—whether you're lounging by the pristine pool or relaxing in the beautiful spa, it feels like you’ve stepped into a dream. And don’t even get me started on the food! The selection is absolutely incredible, with fresh and flavorful options to suit every taste. On top of that, the location is perfect. It's so close to the town center, making it easy to explore and enjoy local attractions while still having your peaceful escape. I’m already counting down the days until I can return. Nothing not to love!

The staff was simply amazing and super friendly! The food was good, the pool and beach facilities all very incredible and convenient.

Not about the property itself, but the guests leave towels to reserve chairs at the beach or at the pool but just for precaution it seems. We watched chairs with towels empty for more than 2 hours and people arriving at the beach with no place to sit because of it. The hotel could watch it more actively to avoid this behavior.

Almost everything, the design, the unbelievable good service and the overall experience. Simply WOW. If you find a deal with a price that suit you, this hotel is A MUST!

The toilet room is a bit undesigned-y and feels claustrophobic. Lack of small designs finishes were noticed, like stains of drywall on the floor in the joint ereas.

The absolute highlight of our trip to Crete. Most beautiful hotel, breakfast was perfect, bed was comfortable and the site is just breathtaking. The beach is private and stunning. Perfect for a stay in Agios Nikolaos, you can walk on the boardwalk down to the town. We can't wait to be back.

We spent one week at Minos Palace Hotel and we really enjoyed its beautiful location and equipments. The team is smiling, responsive and customer-focused. The hotel is perched on a hill overlooking the sea. It offers multiple viewpoints towards the sea or/and towards Agios Nikolaos, great at dinner and breakfast. The infinity pool is also great and I really enjoyed going every morning before breakfast to the small private beach of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is good and varied. To get great food at Minos Palace Hotel, book a table at the peaceful Inblu Restaurant! We loved our two dinners there. It takes you 30 minutes to walk (along a road) to the city center.

experience of a lifetime. been to many beautiful places , but this hotel beats them all ! Location, architecture, interior design, landscaping of the gardens, pool , access to the private beach and sea , restaurants and ever so friendly and helpful staff. absolutely recommendable.

possibly the selection of cold meats at breakfast, but who needs meat if you can have such wonderful fresh fruits and greek yoghurts with honey? if there is one thing I would recommend to change then this is the choice of music at the bars and restaurants. This endless soundtrack of Ibiza style lounge music mainly by secondary type of artists, who cover all kinds of known hits and force them into a flat and lifeless electronical straitjacket is nervewracking. Especially since there is so much cool and real music out there ! To invite a DJ to entertain at the bar and this DJ plays just the same playlists - that tops it. What a difference it makes when you then hear a real greek trad band the next night !

Warm welcome in the middle of the night (3 am). Fantastic Breakfast Buffet, even with hot Porridge and hot rice, there was really nothing missing. Super selection of fruit and vegetables, eggs in all shapes and forms, cheeses, vegan options, great variety of bread (white, brown, full corn, .... ) Good Group Fitness Offer, fantastic SPA with professional therapist (Ntinos). Super comfy sunbeds around the pool, down at the beach and dotted around in the gardens. Pool/Beach Bar worked with easy to install App - Drinks / Snack ordering worked via App and indication of your umbrella / tree number (labeled :-)) Amra Restaurant offered high quality authentic Greek dishes - lovely. Be careful with fresh fish - prices are by grams and we ended up paying 142 EUR just for the fish. This is the same everywhere in Crete and we had forgotten about it but therefore enjoyed every bite. The staff filleted the fish for us at the table. Everything else is very reasonably priced and the view is unbeaten. We had the Zen Sunrise Sea View Room and I got addicted to filming the Sunrise (7:15 am early October) from our balcony. Once, I took my tripod with me to the Breakfast Area and filmed (time lapse) from my table while having breakfast. Long story short: This hotel is absolutely recommendable.

The "public" toilets between reception and bar should be separated by Gender or at least offer cubicles with urinals - I found big puddles on the floor on several occasions for the lack of urinals and obviously some male users not being educated to sit down when toilets are shared across genders.

The buffet breakfast spread was the best in any hotel I have stayed in. The staff were very attentive. The rooms were clean and comfortable with modern lighting and air-conditioning controls. Agios Nikolaos is around a 20 minute walk away or a 5 minute taxi ride. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel as a relaxing place to stay.

There was nothing we did not like, but will mention a few things that might be helpful. There were no signs telling us where reception was. So it took a day or so to get our bearings. Being an environmentally friendly hotel there was no paperwork anywhere in the rooms. Not an issue for us, but if we didn't have a smartphone which used QR codes for this information, we would not have known the meal times, bars, activities and all the other room information etc.

Absolutely stunning hotel in fantastic location! Our Infinity Blue room on the top floor was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered breathtaking views. The hotel is surrounded by stunning gardens with sea views in every direction. We particularly enjoyed sunbathing on the secluded beds nestled among the rocks, which provided both privacy and stunning vistas. While it's true that the sunbeds around the beach get reserved early in the morning, it wasn't an issue for us as we preferred the quieter, less crowded spots on the rocks. The sandy beach, although small, is lovely with crystal-clear, turquoise waters. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast at the main restaurant, which had a wide variety of options, and the delicious lunches at the Amar restaurant by the beach. The hotel offers plenty of dining choices for dinner, but in the evenings, we preferred to explore Agios Nikolaos which is a charming little town about a 35-minute walk from the hotel. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay at Minos Palace and would highly recommend it! The hotel is very peaceful and offers plenty of privacy, making it the perfect getaway for couples.

The food at Mosa Beach Bar could use some improvement – it’s quite pricey, and while the taste is decent, it’s nothing exceptional. In our opinion, there are better dining options within the hotel, such as the Amar restaurant near the beach. However, the beach bar is a great spot for drinks or coffee.
