Our stay at this hotel was truly enchanting! Set romantically on the hillside of Elati, it offers a spectacular view over the surrounding villages of Zagori and the mountain range – a scene straight out of a fairytale. The location is perfect for exploring the area, making the hotel an ideal base to discover the beautiful region. The rooms are cozy, equipped with everything you need, and the daily cleaning keeps everything neat and fresh. The owners' warm hospitality made our experience even better – spending evenings chatting by the fireplace in the lounge with them was a highlight for us. The breakfast was another delight: plentiful, varied, and featuring delicious homemade pies and pastries that change daily. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to experience an unforgettable time in Zagori.

The staff was amazing. Gregory and the team went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and to give us great recommendations for trips in the area. The breakfast was excellent – delicious and indulgent. The bar in the evening was a lovely way to end a long day of touring. The view from the hotel is stunning, overlooking the mountains. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We would definitely love to come back again.

The room was great, it was really big and had enough space for all our luggage. The bathroom was big as well. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We asked them for restaurant recommendations and they recommended a great one in the next town, it is called: MONTAZA (super local experience). Furthermore, the breakfast was splendid and diverse with local specialties. The mountain view from the breakfast area is fantastic.

The room was a bit cold and we were not able to control the AC/heating, but maybe we were not used to the temperature in the mountains anymore. There could have been more power outlets around the bed. The hotel's own restaurant was closed during our stay.

Alexander the receptionist manager was really an asset to the hotel. Location was set in a beautiful area of the mountains. Elati was probably the most beautiful village in Zagori. I have rebooked this hotel for next year.

Everything! the bed is so comfortable, the view is amazing with a privet balcony, the room is very clean and the breakfast is rich and very tasty and also has gluten free options. Gregor, the host is very helpful and kind and was available whenever we needed. We hope to arrive again and recommend it for everyone.

It couldn't be better. The hotel, the setting, the room with a terrace where you can spend hours gazing at the mountains. The tranquility of the place and Gregory's hospitality make you feel very at ease, and finally, the breakfasts... unbeatable. Thank you for four unforgettable days.

The hotel was very nice decorated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had a list of things to do and they were open to give you suggestion for places to visit, where to drink coffee and have your lunch and dinner. The breakfast of the hotel was very nice.

The one thing that stands out above all is the hotel stuff. They are very friendly and willing to help in any request. For example, we asked them for breakfast one hour earlier than the regular time and it was not a problem. The room is very spacious and clean and the view is breathtaking The breakfast is great

The WiFi is a bit slow

Athina Hotel is beautifully located in the peaceful Elati Vilage. The room is beautiful, well equipped, with comfortable bed and magnificent view from the room terrace. The owner was extremely nice, assisted us with finding great restaurants in the vicinity, and pointed out perfect day trips in Zagoria. Breakfast was reach and tasty, including local pastries and coffee as we like it (which they remembered the next day ☺️) We strongly recommend this lovely place!
