2025-05-30 This is an accurate review. The hotel has been renovated. The 3rd floor is nice and modern. I had a great view over the garden and lake. 2nd floor still have more retro furniture but looked very well maintained. 1st floor is undergoing renovations at the moment, and I was allowed a look. They are lovely and contemporary. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was typical greek, bread, ham, different cheese, yoghurt, olives, boiled eggs and tomatoes... The location is perfek!. They also offer free parking. I will definitely stay there again when I go to lovely Ioaninna.

The hotel has an excellent location. It is very close to lake waterfront, the tavernas with traditional music which are more in the interior and the shopping boutiques further inside. The staff is also amazing, always eager to help on all matters, including changing the room on our second night. The hotel has also a very good parking which is really convenient in a place like Ioannina with narrow roads. The rooms are very cozy and very very warm considering how cold was outside. Finally, the breakfast was ok, although a bit more variety would be appreciated.

The only issue that comes up can be summarized in one word: noise. The insulation is not very good and although we were on the 4th floor, there still a lot of noise coming from the street below, the hallways and adjacent rooms. To make matters worse, a large group of school kids were at the hotel which added even more noise until early in the morning. However, the hotel staff were very accommodative to change our room and move us away from the quarter where the students were staying. Therefore, we could sleep very well on the second night. Additionally, the restaurant area is somewhat cold in the morning and that should be fixed to make breakfast more enjoyable.

The hotel is centrally located and at the same time with very easy access to the exit of the city. There is a nice parking lot. The staff was extremely friendly. We were accommodated in a family room. It is two connected rooms. Well furnished. One is entered directly from the corridor. Breakfast was nice, with everything you need. The hotel is close to the old part and the shopping street

The rooms faced the street. Despite the high floor it was noisy at night. The premises have air conditioning, but it is not possible to sleep with closed windows and air conditioning all night. As soon as the windows are opened, the noise from the street can be heard. However, for a short stay the hotel is extremely suitable

We liked the location. It's close to the Castro and all the nightlife and restaurants.

The breakfast was okay. It wasn't horrible but there is mostly bread and I'm gluten free. They have a cappuccino machine but they only use it for drip coffee! I would say the breakfast is overpriced for what you get.

Excellent location right in the center, staff service was excellent, free parking in hotel premises was a bonus. We found it quite cheap for Xmas season but did not choose to have breakfast so I can’t review about that. Warm and clean room.

The hotel is a bit outdated, it needs renovation, the doors and carpet are very old, however as I’m not a fussy person, I found it convenient, clean and warm and we didn’t spend much time in the room anyway since we were sightseeing all day.

The room we stayed in at Palladion was spacious, and its central location in the heart of Ioannina was a definite plus. This allowed us to explore the city easily, and we enjoyed a nice sleep after our adventure. The air-conditioner worked superbly on one of the hottest days of the summer, and having parking available at the hotel added to the convenience. The staff was kind and accommodating, and while the breakfast was very basic, the Freddo Espresso coffee I was kindly offered was a standout and greatly appreciated.

The breakfast could have been more varied and enticing, as it consisted mainly of bread, butter, honey, eggs, cheese, ham, fruits, and coffee. Although sufficient, a few more options would have elevated the dining experience.

I liked the location and the old style of the hotel

The sheets and towels were clean but the hallway and the rest was not so much. The breakfast was basic, it had some variety and all in all it was ok. I've tried better. There was noise coming from the road in front of the hotel all night long.

Ioannina is a beautiful town. The hotels location is very good. You can reach the lake in 10-15 minutes easy walk. The hotel building is old. The free car park is a plus. Friendly and helpfull personnel. Very close to a shopping street. We wished we could have stayed one or two nights more. Thank you very much

The hotel is conveniently placed to walk to the excellent Archeaological Museum, the lake and the old town. There is a large parking area and the hotel was also happy for us to park there on the morning we left when we explored again. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. We had dinner there too. There weren't many choices but our food was very good and very inexpensive,

Ample free parking was a Godsend. Location was also spectacular: 30 seconds away from coffee/food; 1 minute walk from grocery store; 5-6 minutes from the waterfront/castle district. Room was a decent size, but shower stall was comically small. The biggest problem was shower curtain’s length; it didn’t reach the ground so water would pour out all over the floor, no matter how hard you tried to direct the shower head towards the wall.

A new (longer) shower curtain would do wonders.
