I couldn't wait to write this review :) The hotel feels magical. It's so elegant, stylish, beautiful — and unique. It feels like a modern castle — yours for the time of your stay. I spent 25 min just taking pictures of the lobby on the second floor. Couldn't get enough. You feel like a part of a story you are reading. Every little detail in the room was very well thought through — and, again, beautiful and stylish. Also, the lake is super close — and the hotel itself is leisurely set in the town center of charmning Ioannina. Honestly, I didn't want to leave. Special thanks to Georgia for always taking care of me. And for the transfer both from and to thebus station.

The stuff - amazing. Starting from the receptionist, to the waiters, to the drivers - always kind, alway smile, always polite. The hotel - is 1 year old abnd you can see that. Everythign is brand new and shiny and is designed to perfection. It's a beautifull small hotel that went through renovation that made it amazing. The room - well, I got promoted to a suite room, which was the best hotel room I have ever visited. But I'm pretty sure that the regular rooms are the best. You can see that in the atmosphere of the Hotel. Parking - the hotel has a dedicated parking lot in which a driver takes to and from with your laggauge. 4 minutes drive.

The breakfest can be better and more rich. More vegetables and fruits can be nice. It's greece - they have excellent vegtables and fruits.

The property is absolutely stunning — a perfect blend of elegance, comfort, and character. This boutique hotel preserves the charm and history of the old building in a truly graceful way, seamlessly combining it with refined modern touches. What made our stay exceptional, however, was the people. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. Upon our arrival, we were given a lovely briefing about the history of the building and its previous owners, which added a rich and personal dimension to our experience.

There was truly nothing we didn’t enjoy. Every detail was thoughtfully designed, and the service was flawless throughout.

It is hard to overstate how fantastic our stay at this hotel was. Eleftheria and every other member of hotel and restaurant staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and we got the impression they genuinely want every guest to feel special. We stayed in the presidential penthouse which is huge and has its own private entrance. The suite has an abundance of luxury design features and is a lovely place to come home to after a day of exploring beautiful Ioannina and its surroundings. We ended up having dinner in and from the restaurant every night, which is an exception for us!. If we visit Ioannina again, we will absolutely come back to this Stoes.

The hotel is newly opened and is in a perfect spot in the middle of buzzing town – we booked this place as it had a 10-star review on Booking.com - It is a very nice place but … The common areas are using a very strong room fragrance which is rather upturning and not my thing. When we arrived the window remote was not working and had to change the room as we were not able to open the window – later I was told that we have received a voluntary room upgrade and the mail function turned into an upgrade when we firstly rated the hotel. The manager requested to amend the rating to align with other feedback ... I responded to his email with my reasons and he never responded. Please note, the staff is on steroids, and I was dizzy within 10 minutes – while it is nice to have attentive staff, but this was too much for me to deal with …

The place if only opened for a couple of weeks and staff needs to relax and it will become an amazing place to stay. We call this teething problems - go and visit this place and find out

well situated. every member of staff was excellent. service excellent. best breakfast ever. i ate dinner in the hotel both nights because the chefs were brilliant. the smoked eel dish is to die for; the brocolli and cauliflower dish with tomato ponzu is delicious. great wines by the glass wonderful old building with a fascinating history

they could offer more wines by the glass. i had the avocado salad on my second night and the half avocado in it was well past its best - great shame. best to just tell the customer that you have not got that dish because you cannot source excellent avocadoes that day. i would just have ordered something else or had the salad without the avocado.

Our stay at Stoes Boutique Hotel in Ioannina was exceptional in every way. The property is beautifully and tastefully designed, blending elegance with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The staff were consistently professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel is located in the old Jewish quarter, a uniquely charming and historic area that feels like stepping into a living museum. It added a deep sense of character and cultural richness to our stay. One of the highlights for us was the cozy fireplace in our room, which created a perfect ambiance and made our evenings especially memorable.

There was truly nothing we found lacking during our stay. Every aspect of the experience—from the service to the facilities—met or exceeded our expectations.

The hotel has a wonderful location in the city. There are many places to eat around and it is possible to walk to the main city attractions. Our room was beautiful and had a lofted bedroom and a lower space with a sofa and chairs as well as the mini bar etc. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet. There are all the supplies given for the fireplace and the bathtub. The breakfast was delicious. You can have a fresh omlette made for you and/or there are plenty of other breakfast options.

The parking was a little confusing but this is largely due to the layout of Ioanna itself. They were extremely helpful in informing us where the parking is and helping us with our luggage from there to the hotel and back to the car.

Exceptional and fantastic hotel! We stayed in a penthouse apartment. Such great rooms! The whole Interior was done with remarkable esthetics, with reverent attention to detail. Relaxing with a glass of wine in front of the cozy fireplace, after a long day in Zagori, will definitely be a fond memory. The bed was large and confortable. Just the right softness of pillows. We had a fantastic and restful night's sleep. The bathtub in the open space and the design of the bathroom gave the bedroom a special flair. (my favorite feature in the apartment 😀) The hotel staff were excellent, professional and friendly. Our special thanks to Georgia who made our stay memorable and fulfilled all our requests in an efficient, professional and friendly manner. Excellent communication with the hotel before and during our stay. Breakfast was very good, nice and tasty local selection. I would suggest giving some more breakfast choices for vegetarian guests. I rate the hotel 10 out of 10. I highly recommend it for a stay in Ioannina! We will definitely be back for another long weekend!

Very comfortable bed with great pillow options, great staff from the porter to the reception and from the cleaners to the kitchen staff. The hotel smelled amazingly, and the toiletries were of great quality. The breakfast was exceptional, with great variety, everything was so tasty and prepared with great care.

Just that the room was not looking outside and rather to the indoor patio and corridor, which felt a bit awkward. We kept our blinds closed the whole stay to maintain our privacy.
