It is an antique grand hotel, with authentic wooden furniture and romantic design...It is like stepping into the past. Everything was large from the high ceilings, the spacious room, the comfortable bed, to the clean and fancy bathroom. The hotel was surrounded by beautiful tall trees and waking/bike riding trails. We only had breakfast, but the food was tasty and diverse. The pool was closed as we were in winter, but it looked well maintained. Also the location was great - it is a quite place with just 15 min from Trikala, The Christmas Village and 15 min from Kalambaka and the Meteora Monasteries.

The staff were genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself is very spacious but a bit outdated and sometimes a little worn. The rooms are comfortable and also roomy. The pool and its immediate surroundings are also generously sized. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. The lifeguard, however, was less friendly. The rules for what is and isn't allowed, according to the sign by the pool, are very limited, but according to the lifeguard, only quiet swimming is permitted, and he made this clear in a firm tone at every opportunity.

The pool is located at the front of the hotel, making the noise from passing traffic easily audible. The breakfast looks good at first glance, but they would do well to focus more on quality instead of quantity.

This hotel is a real architectural gem, combining history, culture, and modern touches in a stunning setting. The gardens and patios are beautiful, and the use of traditional materials gives it so much charm. Inside, you’ll find amazing paintings by renowned Greek artists, which really add to the atmosphere. Sure, it’s an older building and there are a few signs of wear, like a small stain on the carpet, but that’s easy to overlook in such a well-designed and inspiring place. A great spot for anyone who loves art and architecture!

The hotel is conveniently located near Kalambaka and the stunning Meteora and has ample parking space. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, making for a comfortable stay. The pool is wonderful, and the provision of towels is a thoughtful touch. Breakfast is a highlight, with a great variety of options and plenty of tables available to accommodate guests. The personnel are very kind and helpful, adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's traditional decoration adds to its charm, making it a lovely place to stay. A souvenir shop with a great variety of products is also available inside the hotel. Theopetra's cave is only 2 km away and it really worth visiting.

We booked this hotel for 2 nights as we wanted a location that was close to Meteora. I did not realize how big the property was. The hotel has a very large swimming pool with deck chairs, a bar, an amazing breakfast room with so many options for breakfast. One night there was a buffet option for 20 euros each with so much food to choose from. Our room was very large with a balcony. The hotel and facilities were super clean. The staff were very attentive. This is the perfect place to have some down time during a visit to Meteora or a stop along the way during your travels in Greece.

I had a short stay with my family and I liked it a lot, it's 10 minutes drive to Meteora, but I find it better than staying in a crowded village close by. I think it's perfect for those who travel by car — the parking is free and spacious, even with chargers for electric cars. I was travelling with a 3 year old and we loved the swimming pool a lot - not many people, the pool is big and not cold. You can relax there in a chezlongue ordering food and drinks after a long day exploring beauties of Meteora. Which is amazing, but it's hot and crowded out there, so relaxing by the pool is a great thing to do after. You can use it if you come before the check in and stay a little longer after a check out.

We liked everything. We are family that hike and don't go so much to hotels but we wanted to have a brake with the children between Olimpus and Zagori. At first glimpse it looks like an old. hotel outside the village but we enjoyed it so much. The architecture is very interesting and there are lots of nice patioes. The suite we took was huge (for 4 people), best shower ever, and in all, the facilities were very generouse. Breakfast was good, the pool was great and being 5 minutes outside town was actually nice.

The pictures online didn't do this place justice. It was such a lovely stay, I wish we could have stayed longer! The structure of the hotel itself was unique and really just gorgeous--so many places to sit and enjoy besides your room. It reminded me of one of our ranch style hotels back in CA. The dinner and breakfast buffet we had were wonderful, the beds were very comfortable and we even had a bathtub in our room, which is always great for the kids. The staff were extremely helpful, gave me very useful info about the touristy things. It was also just peaceful and quiet. Our room overlooked some forest area-very serene. I hope to come back and stay longer!

Breakfast was wonderful - huge variety, and plenty of everything, even with tour groups descending on the breakfast room. The pool was beautiful, and the perfect temperature. So nice to have drink/food service poolside! The air conditioner was on the fritz our first night, and we were sweltering. However, we spoke to management, and whatever was done seemed to solve the problem, and quickly. 2nd night was much more comfortable!

Given the water supply issues in the area, I would love to see less irrigated lawn, and more drought-tolerant plantings. Seeing the sprinklers running every morning in that heat was soul-crushing. Also, the entire country needs less emphasis on plastic bottles of water. A bottle filling station for reusable water bottles would be greatly appreciated!

Very professional staff, good food n reasonable prices,plentiful breakfast with many options. Amazing decoration in the lobby. You can tell that they have been around for a while and that they ate selling real hospitality and not fancy design. An excellent choice for a couple of days stay.

As expected for its age the hotel is a bit outdated and could benefit from a renovation. The aircon was struggling to cool the room.
