Staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and hotel kept very clean! The grounds are always well maintained and even the parking area is cleaned daily. Towels were very fresh, new and changed regularly. With a longer stay, even the bed sheets are changed. The WiFi works very well in all areas and all the way down to the beach! Coffee is offered via a Nespresso machine in the room which is very comfortable. Small kitchenette is more than enough to prepare a few meals. Beach and mountain view from each room. Beach area is a very short walk from the room and beds are on offer. Two sandbag paths are present to enter the sea with comfort (small rocks). Beach is private and very quiet with trees, so natural shade is available. Barbeque can also be supplied and the owner Nikos is more than willing to help, give suggestions and places to visit on the island. Location is good, close to the airport so it is comfortable to do daily trips anywhere on the island.

As advertised, a two star place, so no TV in the room but the awesome WiFi makes up for it. It is outside the village so having a car would be most comfortable, but a couple of places in Kardamaina will deliver meals there as well. Air conditioning unit is functional, albeit noisy. No curtain or doors around tub so when showering water may reach the floor, which can get slippery. Due to proximity of airport, aircraft will be seen and heard throughout the day. Still look forward to returning and definitely would recommend.

Again a wonderful stay in Olympia Mare. Olympia Mare is amazing. It is a place full of peace and relaxation, where you can enjoy life completely carefree. The location right on the crystal clear Aegean Sea is just as fantastic as the beautiful nature, the wonderful garden, the comfortable apartments with great sea view and the very nice and hospitable owner Nikos. And all this only a few steps away from the wonderful beach... We love being there.

eventhough it’s very nice, it was very expensive for what it is. i travelled to greece a lot and usually an apartment like this costs around 80€ per nights, here we payd 200€.

The hotel is located directly on the beach which is very unusual. It was so special. We could walk straight from our room into the gardens onto the beach where there were comfortable, clean sun beds available and two sand bank walk ways over the pebbles into the sparkling sea. The owner manager, Nikos, was charming, helpful, generous and extremely professional. Our room was very spacious with everything we needed including lovely shower gels, shampoos, hand wash and moisturiser with aloe vera, a large fridge, small cooking area, comfortable super king bed, a very sunny balcony overlooking the sea and soft towels and crisp bed linen. We could enjoy our picnic lunch under the vine just feet from the sea. Nikos could not have done more to make our stay perfect.

We loved everything it was wonderful

Really an extraordinary stay! Value for money in late October is excellent. That may be true for many hotels in that very late season on sunny Kos, but especially for this hotel it's even even more true than for others! Beach view is great. Swimming is possible directly at the beach at the hotel or, if you prefer longer and sandier beaches, when you walk along the beach a few hundert meters in western direction (where endlesss walks on sandy beaches are possible). Beds are very comfortable.

Even in the week when November began it was very sunny and warm in Kos, so I got real good, excellent value for money, especially in his hotel. If you have a car with you (you shouldn't book this hotel for long time if you don't), you can reach many beautiful places on the island and also the airport within 20 Minutes. Beds were very comfortable. Wonderful beach view. Espresso machine was also a very useful device. The owner was very helpful in finding an important thing I had mislaid.

If you are able to hire a car for the duration of your stay here, then this location is great. The property is in a very tranquil, peaceful location. The beach at the back of property is very beautiful and zen. The water is clear and the location is absolutely perfect if you want to unwind and relax. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. Property is very clean. The cleaning ladies clean the rooms everyday (at your request if you want to skip). I loved that the owners tried to accommodate my request for a specific room. Very much appreciated! I loved that we were still able to go back to the property after check out and after a day of swimming.. as they had shower facilities and they held your luggages safe. Lovely property, lovely location and lovely staff. Will book again, most definitely.

The toilet of our downstairs room slightly smelled due to the sewage system I think.. but it wasn’t too big of a deal. Still lovely and will still book again.

Quiet and peaceful place with a pleasant atmosphere. Each apartment has a view of the sea and a garden with palm trees. There are enough sunbeds and space on the beach for everyone to have privacy. The accommodation and the surroundings of the house are clean and well-maintained. The facility provides towels for the bathroom and for the beach and quality cosmetics from shampoo to toothbrushes, so you only need to pack a minimum of things. A quality coffee maker is a bonus that pleases every morning.

Sleeping in the living room was a little noisier, as you could hear noise from the road, but it was not busy.

It was a special place to celebrate my birthday. Nikos and his family gave me the most warm welcome I could have. Friendly, profissional and helpful, Nikos gave me all important information regarding the island. I had a spotless room with sea view. Everything was perfect. Crisp linen and towels ( included beach towel), shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, ecological toothbrush and toothpaste! The beach is “private”, I would say, just 1 minute walking from my bed. And there are trees as umbrela! The only noises I could hear were the sound of waves and cicadas. Total peaceful and sunny place where is possible to watch a stunning sunrise. It’s is a real gem in Kos. Totally in love and already missing that place. I higly recommend and I say Thanks a bunch to Nikos and family for everything. I will be back!

We enjoyed the quiet location close to the beautiful clear blue sea, but we also enjoyed talking to our host Nikos. He made us feel very welcome and gave us lots of information which helped us make the most of our short stay on the island of Kos.

There was nothing we didn't like about our stay at the Olympia Mare...we just wish we had more time to stay there for longer.
