Perfect location up the hill with a view to die for! The room was spacious, clean, and had a kettle and coffee sachets, etc. The balcony was large and had perfect views downhill and to the side over the pool. Staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't mind walking up the hill to the property at all, but it was only ~25°C when I was there. The beds were comfy, and I slept well.

Other people have already mentioned it, the shower curtain which is too short/misaligned, so the bathroom got very wet while trying to shower. One other thing I do need to mention. On my last day, the staff was loudly knocking twice on my door at 8:30 a.m. to make sure to wake me. On no other day, they did knock on my door or come that early for cleaning. Checkout is not until 12 p.m., and if you have a longhaul flight ahead of you, you need as much sleep as you can get beforehand. This was pretty impolite, and considering other people have mentioned the same thing, this behaviour should be stopped by management.

Loved everything but then we have been staying here on all of our visits over the past 20-years. A lot of time & money has been invested in the rooms & apartments, along with the pool & bar area over the past 12-months. Staff are friendly and helpful at all times, and that includes the back room team that keep the rooms clean and tidy, along with the outside areas.

Would like to see a few more sun umbrellas around the pool for those of us that can’t lie in the full sun.

The pool and new beds were great (although people did start ‘reserving’ them with towels and not using them all day which seemed a bit crazy) Apartments were reasonable and felt clean.

Top of the hill which is great for views but tough to walk up and down everyday and lots of walking from pool to rooms etc - not great in the heat. Expensive to have a drink at the onsite bar - some staff very surly.

Beautiful complex, loved the pool, especially the sunloungers, they are so comfortable. Great view of the sunset. Rooms were comfortable.

Reception was very disappointing, the guy was extremely rude. All other staff lovely. Not enough sunloungers for the amount of people staying at the property. Property we were in was far from pool and reception. Was up a very steep windy road, difficult when so hot.

Lovely view from the balcony. Sun beds were comfortable and the towels being supplied was a bonus. Receptionist was very helpful and printed our ferry paperwork for us.

The drinks at the bar were overpriced, if they had been a bit more reasonable we would have spent a lot more at the bar. There was no name on the gates of the hotel so we struggled to find it at first.

The pool was great. Very large. Plenty of comfy sun beds and umbrellas . Lovely views. Poolside bar and restaurant with great value very tasty food. Bar well stocked - cocktails as well- very good value. Great for sunset

Some people may not like the walk up the hill from the Main Street / beach . It took us 6 minutes . But it was worth it as you were away from the bustle of the Main Street / bars etc . If you don’t want to walk it was 8 euros in a taxi.

We loved the location, our studio and the staff were amazing. We had a scooter accident and they couldn't be more kind. The views are amazing, it is a beautiful village, it is peaceful as well. We highly recommend staying in Liberatos Village.

The hill is very high so I would recommend having a scooter or a car. And the kitchen could be better equipped (for example we only got one coffee cup and three glasses). But it is not a big deal as we could still cook and eat our dinners (and eat them on our beautiful terrace at sunset 🙂), it would just be another plus point for the accomodation.

We really enjoyed our time here and loved the pool, the room, the view and the food was lovely! The location was ideal although the big hill up to Liberatos and then up further to our apartment was hard in the heat. The air condition in the room was brilliant and there is a safe box too. The bathroom/shower was great, nice and powerful and good temperatures. Our room was attended to once during a weeks stay, although more toilet roll was needed. We just bought some at the shops. Staying at Liberatos made our Kefalonia stay worth it, thank you very much ☺️

The beds are not the best, very hard and we both woke up every morning with sore backs. The mini oven didn’t work, it was glued shut. (maybe for fire safety issues)

The rooms were really spacious and well equipped. The view from the balcony was to die for too. I loved the big pool and pool bar, the food served there was so good, especially the oven baked pizza’s, the chef was spot on and bar staff really friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay Phil&Michele

I wouldn’t say I didn’t like it but the walk up to the Hotel from the main road was really challenging but worth t because the views were tremendous. By the end of the week we were like mountain goats 😁
