Incredible Hosts and a lovely Apartment which exceeded all of our expectations! From the moment we arrived, Athina and Dimitris, our hosts, made us feel completely at home. Their warm, welcoming nature and genuine hospitality made this experience one we’ll never forget. The apartment is well designed and modern, immaculately clean, reasonably spacious for three of us, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The balcony offered picturesque views of the town and shimmering sea, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The breakfasts we experienced each morning were lovely and very generous portions to set us up for the day. Athina and Dimitris went above and beyond to ensure we had an incredible stay, providing excellent local recommendations, from the best beaches to visit to hidden gem restaurants that we would have never found on our own. We were surprised to find there was a manned reception area with a desk, like a hotel, but with a real personal feel and friendly greetings each day. What truly stood out was the personal touch they brought to our stay. They surprised us with a beautiful birthday cake for my niece's 13th birthday which we found in our room upon returning from our day out. Their kindness and generosity left a lasting impression, and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. The apartment’s location is ideal, right in the heart of Argostoli within easy walking distance to the vibrant port, shops, cafes, and restaurants; a bit noisy at times, but expected in such a central location. We recommend this venue for anyone visiting Kefalonia. Not only will you stay in a beautiful, well-located apartment, but you’ll also have the privilege of being hosted by two of the loveliest people, who truly made our trip unforgettable. Particular shout out to Dimitris who helped us (over 2 days) to capture a tiny abandoned kitten and get it to a rescue centre. His compassion was extremely appreciated.

We had the best time! Kefalonia is such a beautiful island and we strongly recommend to stay in Argostoli Essence Suites while enjoying its beauty. Perfect location enables you to enjoy city centre in the evenings and explore georgeous beaches during the day (for that purpose we suggest to rent a car). The accommodation itself is very lovely, I appreciated details like Marvis toothpaste and Molton Brown showergel :) we were charmed by the hospitality of the place - generous and delicious breakfast, welcome snack and free minibar! Last but not least, Dimitris at the front desk is the heart of this place, incredibly helpful and full od great tips and such a nice person - thanks for making our stay so special!

This place is lovely - it’s so clean and only a short walk to the harbour and town centre. The team is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is wonderful and the lemonade is delicious!!!

Nothing - it’s gorgeous

The location was superb, within walking distance to the center of town, yet quiet, and a short driving distance to great beaches. The decor of the room and the hotel was beautiful and modern. Great shower. Fantastic breakfast: fresh fruit and vegetables, and plenty. Above all - the personal touch by Dimitris and Athena , who were extremely helpful, gave great advice and were very very welcoming and warm.

a few samll things that could be improved: first, a full length mirror was missing, , and the shower was open, so that the floor got wet very quickly. Thank you for being so gracious with the mini-bar, but we would have loved to have a small kettle to boil water and some tea, not just a coffee maker.

This property is brilliant in every way. My wife and I absolutely loved staying here and were a little sad when it was time to leave. The location was perfect, far enough from any noise or traffic, yet close enough to everything. The room was very modern, clean and comfortable.Breakfast was also excellent. The real treat was the quality of all the staff who we met. Dimitra and Athina at the front desk were exceedingly pleasant, helpful and professional. I cannot thank them enough for their help and their friendliness. Likewise the remaining staff from room service to breakfast servers were excellent

There was nothing to dislike about this property. I would recommend to booking.com to update the address as the one shown on booking.com is not helpful to people arriving for the first time by car

I recently stayed at this exceptional hotel and was thoroughly impressed. The location is perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The breakfast was amazing, offering a delicious and varied selection each morning. The staff were fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help.

There are a couple of small areas for improvement. It would be great to have an extra small waste bin in addition to the one in the bathroom for the bedroom/living area. In addition, a shower mat or similar solution would also prevent excess water from gathering on the bathroom floor after due to the walk-in shower.

Everything. The breakfast was the best I’ve had at any hotel before and the host Demetris was just amazing to us.

We absolutely loved everything. Everything was brand new and beautifully designed. The pool was stunning and our room had a beautiful view over the harbour. We loved the location as it was a 2 min walk to the shops and restaurants which is ideal! The breakfast included is absolutely amazing and you can choose from several options (all unreal!) The staff were so friendly and there to help all the time.

The property is modern internally but in-keeping with its surroundings. We stayed in the family suite which was perfect for us with our teenage daughters. They had their own room in the mezzanine with a private toilet. The bathroom is beautiful and soft furnishings and furnishings are all to a very high standard. The room is very calming. You have everything you need plus all the nice touches too. The small pool is the perfect size for a little dip at the end of a hot day. The staff are all super helpful and lovely.

It would be nice to have a screen or partition between the rooms on the balcony for a little more privacy.

We stayed here for 1 night after our flight was cancelled. The location is great, very short walk down to the harbour and the turtle viewing spot. The room was beautifully decorated in a boutique style, everything was brand new, huge walk in shower. Breakfast was lovely, the pancakes were some of the best we’ve ever had. The mini bar had a good selection of drinks, we had robes, slippers, Molton Brown toiletries, toothbrush & toothpaste, and kefalonian nut sweets and a tote bag left as a gift. Staff were very friendly and helpful, offered us a welcome drink.

There isn’t anywhere to lounge/relax by the pool, it would be nice if there were a couple of loungers or more comfortable chairs, then the breakfast area could be smaller or breakfast delivered to the room. A couple of little touches missing from the room - the minibar was missing a bottle opener, the bathroom needed a bigger bathmat as the walk in shower was quite slippy. 2 courses for breakfast would have sufficed as the portions are big, 3 courses and a bread basket per person was a lot of food and felt a bit wasteful on us.
