I had a lovely room with a fridge and a kettle and a balcony with a view of the harbour. The staff were lovely and helpful and let us check in when we arrived even though we were early.

There was plenty of hanging space but only one shelf. It would have been nice to have had another shelf or some drawers as there was room for them, and a few hooks in the room. The awning for my balcony was shared with the room next door so I didn't use it. I did find when I had a shower the whole bathroom got wet as there was no door on the front of the shower. There was a safe but it wasn't fastened in at all so it seemed pointless.

We had a wonderful time in this little boutique hotel. Staff is very kind and attentive, anything we needed they handled with a smile. Towels for the beach, they even gave us a free umbrella. Location is excellent, walking distance to town. It seems that they renovated it recently with a minimal decor which we love. We had the sea view room on the second floor, it was a gem. Breakfast was delicious, made fresh on the spot. We are so happy to have discovered this spot as we travel every year to Kefalonia and will certainly add it for our future travels.

King A is a very well located hotel in Argostoli. The ferry to Lixouri is across the street and the center of Argostoli is at walking distance. In front of the hotel there is a big free parking lot. On arrival we immediately felt very welcome and received several recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat at. The rooms were well sized and very neat and clean.

The sound isolation isn’t the best. If you are a light sleeper, you might experience some trouble from noise outside and/or from the hallway at night or in the early morning.

The hotel had a real sense that the guests mattered. The staff we very helpful and friendly. Great Location. Easy to get around to nearby beaches. Rooms clean. Lovely breakfast. Would recommend this hotel for a stay.

All good no dislikes

The King A is located in a fabulous location to base yourself for a stay in Argostoli. It's right by the ferry port, and the sea view room we had (207) on the 2nd floor was ideal for watching the coming and going of the ferries, cruise ships, and luxury yachts. The hotel itself is a small, boutique-style one, with rooms that have light and airy decor. Beds are comfortable and the room was cleaned daily by very friendly housekeepers, as was everyone else at the hotel. A lift services all floors. Loved the hotel cat that just slept his day away on the table in the reception area. The little dog was sweet, too. TIP: Rooms 206 and 207 are probably the best rooms for a view over the bay and mountains.

The location was very nice, close to the center of town, cleaning every day, and a decent breakfast.

The poor furniture in the room, the unpleasant presence of owners! They were almost rude... They didn't answer our "good evening or kalispera or so"... This makes us feel unwanted ☹️. I never felt this in over 15 years of traveling in Greece... I'm sorry to say this.

Really felt welcome and at home upon check in! Staff were very friendly and hospitable, providing plenty of recommendations for Kefalonia and wider Greece! Room was presented in a clean state, and well airconditioned! Also really nice views from the hotel as well. Bonus was the fact that there was lift access - made all the difference not having to lug a heavy back up the steps. The breakfast offered in the morning made for a really nice touch. Overall, staying here made for a pleasurable start to my time in Greece! Very grateful and can't recommend King A enough!

Overall, can't really fault anything from my stay. Was fantastic.

Very central location and easy to get around with a great view. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even loaned us a beach umbrella and a recommendation of which beach to go to for our day out to Lassi. This is a very comfortable hotel with a modern shabby chic feel. The hotel is right on the front and next door to a traditional restaurant and a lovely wine bar. Only a short walk to the main square and shops.

The location, right on the waterfront, was perfect with some good restaurants close by. Our room was lovely, bright and airy and spotlessly clean.

What's not to like!!

The property was clean, fresh, cosy! We had an apartment with sea view and it was magnificent. There’s no private parking but it’s not a problem at all since you have lots free parking spaces. Plus it’s close to many good restaurants (To Patrikó and Ampelaki). Amazing breakfast too! Agamemnon, the owner, was friendly and funny. Hope to see you again
