Great, central location in Argostoli. Rooms were pleasant, stylish and very clean. The bed very comfortable - we slept very well. The staff were exceptional, with a shout out to Olga - thank you for the kind tips and suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

Would have liked to have a tea/coffee station in the room. The rooms are a bit small so not good if you are staying for a long period of time and there is more than one of you but it suited our one night stay. Separately, whilst the location is great, it is down a busy road so it can be noisy. This didn’t impact our stay too much.

An amazing experience! Everything was perfect from my check in until the check out! The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful at reception.The room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the quality was very good, served by a very smiley staff. I totally recommend this hotel and I will come back!

The hotel is well situated with a 2 min walk to the main square, staff were very accommodating and friendly able to provide advice on attractions on the island. The staff were able to react quickly to accommodate high dining numbers when we had a rain day and everyone dining in the hotel. Staff were always professional. The room was clean and serviced daily. A good thing to raise is that the hotel reception offers beach towels free of charge, which is great having a fresh towel each day, the front view for the hotel and breakfast is of the Harbour which is quite pleasant.

I don't have anything to complain about.

So, where to begin? The room had great character, was a good size, and featured a very comfortable bed. Additionally, the view from the balcony overlooking the sea was stunning. The breakfast was sumptuous, offering a variety of both hot and cold options from the buffet, as well as freshly made items like omelettes, scrambled eggs, and pancakes from the menu. Most importantly, the service and reception team were exceptional; everyone was very polite, accommodating, and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel truly welcome.

The hotel is situated in the city centre, so be prepared to circle around a bit to find parking if you've rented a car. Another issue was the room insulation; you could clearly hear doors shutting in other rooms and conversations in the corridor. I believe better insulation would greatly improve the experience.

Closeness and views towards the sea and sightings of loggerhead turtles nearby. Attentiveness and friendliness of staff. Special thanks to Paul in the restaurant/bar and the 2 reception staff Cassandra and her opposite colleague Eleora, not sure if that is correct spelling. Warm welcome on arrival. Room was ready even though we were early. Lift access to floors. We were on floor 3 which was quiet. Good breakfast including cooked food to order with efficient service. 2 dinners eaten at the hotel were enjoyed. Comfortable bed. Always hot water for showers and regular change of towels. Cleanliness everywhere.10 min walk to bus station and pleasant promenade walk. Plenty of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. View from balcony appreciated even though the balcony is rather compact.

Seating in reception was low and relaxing but a few upright chairs would be appreciated.

Our stay at the Kefalonia Grand was absolutely amazing. As our flight was canceled, we arrived one day later. They offerered us a free upgrade and for the missed first night, we were allowed to stay one additional night free of charge. The hotel is located in the city of Argostoli and the parking is just opposite the hotel and along the the marina. I like the relax feel of the hotel and the white and open concept. Breakfast is great and chef is accommodating to make me fried eggs out of the menu. As usual I need hot water and the team was kind after 2 nights of request and gave me a kettle and 2 cups for me to make my tea. I was grateful. The hotel is located behind Argostoli square where there are plenty of restaurants and the walk down left is all the shopping so its very accessible and there is a very cheap local grocery down the street which we bought fruits.

My room is the cheapest so the bathroom is really small and if it is small for an asian it is really small. I can hardly turn around. Surprisingly the room's sound proofing is relatively ok.

The Kefalonia Grand is loacted in the middle of the Argostoli promenade, perfect location, if you prefer to be in the centre of happenings. Our room was bright and spacious with a big balcony, as we stayed in one of the suits on the third floor. The staff at the reception is very friendly and helpful. Thanks for it, we loved you all.

Unfortunately the hotel's minimalist design, as it must be a good few years old, starts to show some wear and tear. A refurb would do good to it. Our hotel room, although beautifully designed, was lacking a proper storing space, or cupboards, so we had to live from our suitcases throughout the week. Also the ensuit, rather a beautiful minimalist design as well, was ergonomicly rather challenging with the builtin shelf and the washbasin being at knee height (causing us even some back ache...)

First and foremost, the staff is AMAZING! Everything was so smooth starting from the check-in where we were welcomed with fresh lemonade, which was a great touch during hot summer day. Later we were surprised with a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. In fact, we were upgraded again the last day to a room with a sea view. What can i ask for more? ❤️ People at the reception were so awesome helping us with everyday questions and finding places. Thanks for making our holiday FANTASTIC I REALLY do hope to come back!

Staff are exceptional; Joanne at the reception is very helpful, kind and she always makes us feel very welcomed and at ease. There is one big guy at the bar (forgotten to ask for his name) who is very friendly and would often check with us if all is good and so on. Room and toilet is smaller than expected but still ok. Place is very clean. Location is near the shopping area and square. Convenient hotel to stay if you are taking some of the boat trips departing from the port/habour here. Breakfast selection is a little limited but good enough. Overall, wonderful stay here.
