The Panorama Fanari has a fabulous position in The hills above Argostoli. The views are absolutely gorgeous. Lovely pool area and breakfasts are served overlooking the pool. The property was well maintained but what makes it exceptional is the staff. Tasoula & Dimitri in particular were so helpful ..nothing was too much trouble.

It’s hard to think of anything that we didn’t like but we would have liked some activity on a couple of evenings… maybe a BBQ.

Hosts were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. Location was lovely with a great view.

Rooms were a bit dated more so than the photos suggest. Feel it was overpriced for what was offered.

spotlessly clean, great pool and outdoor areas were very well furnished. view is amazing and gardens surrounding it are lovely. couldn’t fault the apartment itself at all.

it is a dangerous walk in the dark back from town as there is no footpath and it’s a winding road although it’s only about 5-10 minutes at a good pace . everything about the property itself was excellent. a couple of times we wanted to ask a question but couldn’t find a staff member, no big issue though

Gorgeous location, lovely pool and pool bar. Warm friendly staff. Perfect breakfast. Car hire with Ionian cars located at the apartments couldn’t have been easier and they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off in Argostoli on departure. Had such a relaxing couple of days staying here, perfect start to our holidays. Thank you so much!

There wasn’t anything at all we didn’t like!

Small hotel with lovely views, light and bright room clean and comfortable. Very nice pool and some basic food and drinks available. The staff are lovely. It’s about 3km out of the main town and a hilly walk back however that’s the attractive aspect as it’s quiet and surrounded by trees.

For those who have mobility issues there are quite a few flights of stairs to lug luggage up and down. The walk back from town might not suit some people however taxis are available.

After travelling and exploring Kefalonia for 10 days we wanted to spend the last few days of our holiday just relaxing and this is exactly what we got at Panorama Fanari! The property is perched above the Argostoli peninsula and the views of the surrounding bay from the apartment was absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool area is a lovely place to relax where refreshments and snacks are also available should you wish. The apartment itself was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean with good amenities. The complex is a family run establishment and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the breakfast which was freshly prepared and the choice was varied and plentiful. Argostoli town is a 20 min stroll or a 5 min taxi ride away. The hosts were very helpful in organising taxis for you. You can also reach some lovely beaches a 10 min walk away. An amazing place to stay and would definitely return next time we visit Kefalonia.

It was all perfect

The service and staff are perfect. Everything you could need is there. And the owner Chrysa is very caring and helpful. Our stay at Fanari was one of the best I've been to. Cooperation with a car rental company IonianCars is the best idea the accommodation could have had. The benefits are mutual. This stay was one of the best in my personal history.

Nothing! It is a very family-friendly and nice establishment. If they continue to run it the way they have been, it will be one of the best accommodations on Kefalonia. They already have their steady returning customers and I assume that everyone else who comes to them for the first time will most likely come back.

The manager was very kind and hospitable and made us feel so welcome. We arrived early (10 am) to check in and she offered us breakfast (so we had 2 breakfasts on a 1 night stay) and the room was all ready for us. I really liked the balconies front and back in our room which gave a lovely through breeze. Comfortable bed and very powerful shower. Kitchenette useful. Nice green gardens and pool area. Beautiful view from our room.

Bathroom was a bit cramped but manageable (as long as you’re not too tall!). I would only stay here if I had a car as a bit isolated (though that’s part of its charm).

The rooms were very large and comfortable and the sea view was amazing. The ladies that run the place were incredibly friendly and it really felt like a very personal sort of place. They had a very good sized pool as well. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and it wasn’t really an apartment but more like 2 bedrooms with a small kitchenette each that were connected by a door like you see in other hotels that have adjoining rooms. However, we were not really planning on cooking on this trip so it was fine. For those who want to cook meals at home and have a sit down meal, it might not be very easy to do. The location is a bit far to walk to the main areas where there are plenty of restaurants so you will need a car for sure but the good thing is that if you don’t come by car, there is a car rental on the property.

The only thing we were not happy with was that breakfast, although is included, did not start until 8.30am. This is a bit late especially for holiday goers who organize activities such as kayaking or hiring a boat. Many of these sorts of activities have early morning starts at 8am so breakfast is not possible. I guess for people who only go to the beach and lie around it is fine as they will get up later but people who enjoy activities will miss out on the breakfast that is included.

Spotless apartment with a gorgeous sea view. Could walk into town but it was a steep hill walking back in the heat . Great place to stay , away from the crowds. Great breakfast. Pool was lovely . Honesty bar was handy . Staff very friendly and helpful. Hired a car from the property which was very convenient and a great car to drive .
