The hotel is located on the outskirts of Limenas Chersonisou, in a quiet area. The staff is friendly and the cleanliness in impecable. The hotel has rooms with private pools and two large communal pools in front. The food is good and it is refilled when it runs out. There are a few small shops with good prices, near the hotel.

Typical for many Greek hotels: at dinner all drinks are extra charged, including water (5 eur for draft beer, 8 eur a small bottle of wine). The sun lounges on the beach are available for a fee (5 eur each). The beach is small, rocky and with many large stones in the water, but beautiful for snorkeling. During our stay one problem where the mosquitoes. A net on the balcony door would have been necessary. Also on the bathroom a shampoo was needed (there was only liquid soap).

Very good facilities, food, excellent service.

Water should be offered for free at dinner. It's absurd to offer that huge buffet and be so generous with the food at an industrial scale, and ask the customers to buy bottled water separately. It felt petty, when the hotel is so generous with breakfast and dinner and gives a bad impression.

Food was great, diverse and tasty. Location it is a bit off-track, but if you look for quiet, it's perfect. Nearest promenade (kiosks, restaurants) is about 10-15' slow walk away. Nearest beach is 2 minutes away, with small pebbles (2-3mm) and some rocks in the water. In front of the hotel is a restaurant quite nice and a shop nearby. You can get to/from the airport with the bus (a little slow, maybe 1h-1,5h, about 5e/pers) or with taxi (45e/trip). The rooms with "personal" pools look very nice. Lots of cats - I put at positives because I love them. Actually all around the island are lots of cats.

At dinner all beverages, including soft drinks, are not free - beer is around 3-4 e/pint, and if I remember correctly water is 2.5e/l. Sometimes it was queue for a place in the restaurant, although it was pretty big.

This hotel has very polite staff (in the restaurant, at the reception, etc). Our room always was cleaned well. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious and quite varied.The

The sun umbrellas on the beach need replacing (you had to pay for an umbrella and sun beds ). I didn't like that I had to buy drinks, even water, at dinner. There is a small shop on the hotel premises with a Russian-speaking saleswoman. She was very rude and unpolite, and after the first visit we had no desire to go back there and buy anything else.

The service we received was exceptional, from the reception, the dining room and all the employees there. Kind, patient and pleasant.

It is mandatory to add air conditioners or fans in the dining room. The drinks in the morning (oranges, grapefruits, all from the machine itself) including the water were not cold, everything was hot. There is no cold water at dinner, which is the case everywhere, especially given the fact that the dining room is insanely hot.

We enjoyed our stay at Hersonissos Maris and we will never forget this experience. The staff at the hotel are super nice, polite, gentle and very helpful. The room was very clean and the shared pool was very cool. The food was exceptional, very good and tasty, different each day and a very good selection of different qualities. Also the breakfast was very good, I really enjoyed the brown bread which was fresh and crunchy. The location was perfect 15 minutes walk to the centre and the beach (Hersonissos).

Nothing to complain about.

Our flight home was delayed, and the hotel we were at was fully booked, so we stayed one night at the Hersonissos Maris. We loved the quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Dinner was great and we especially enjoyed the fabulous Greek evening (dancing and music). We lucked out as this occurs once every two weeks. Our room was spotless, and the AC was excellent. The bathroom was small but sufficient. Our room had a mini bath, which would be difficult for elderly people and those with mobility issues. All the staff that we met were very nice and helpful.

I didn't like the high bathtub wall.

Superb location with stunning views, lovely natural beach with crystal clear waters. Charming well-designed complex with amazing flora and fauna, all very well maintained and tidy. Very polite friendly staff especially George the restaurant manager. Wonderful choice and quality of food, including lunch at the pergola - so conveniently placed near the beach - staff again very polite and friendly. We will come again for sure (God willing)!

A shaving kit for me would have been useful - but that’s all 😀

The staff were amazing, everybody was very nice and helpful. The food was tasty, and for dinner they changed the alternatives a lot a they had a lot of options. The resort itself is beautiful, with lots of plants, it looks way better than in the pictures. The rooms were very clean, and they cleaned them up and changed the towels daily. The pools are well maintained, including the private ones. There are multiple beautiful beaches within walking distance from the hotel, way better than the ones from the city (we liked Sarantari beach the most). Nearby there are also 2 mini markets and 4 restaurants.

The rooms, although very clean, have old furniture, they don't look like 4* rooms. On the dinner there is no beverage available for free, if you want to drink anything (including water), you need to pay.

Friendly and helpful staff. Wide selection of tasty food. Good location, very close to the sea.
