This family-run hotel is an absolute treasure. The staff and management were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed and at home. Every request was met with a smile and genuine care. Set in beautifully renovated traditional houses, the property is a tranquil oasis of lush greenery that offers an authentic Cretan experience—a refreshing contrast to the large, impersonal resorts nearby. The buffet exceeded expectations with very good food throughout, but the desserts were the real surprise. While they may not have looked particularly fancy, they tasted absolutely heavenly. If you're seeking genuine hospitality, peaceful surroundings, and a true taste of Crete, this charming hotel delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Made to feel very welcome by the whole team. Travelling with my daughters (17,20) nothing was too much trouble the team helped with booking excursions and advice on things to do, sadly we missed the Greek dancing night as homeward bound. Hotel site was spotlessly clean, pool and bar area really comfortable and staff always around to order drinks. Food was excellent, good mix of veggie and meat options (thank you), breakfast was brilliant, lovely fresh fruit and typical buffet food. Booking was good, team responded to emails quickly and happily arranged transfers for us. Overall great trip, we love staying in family run boutique hotels such as Paul Marie. Thank you PM.

The third bed (sofa) was adequate, however no complaints from daughter after a full day out and pretty tired.

Paul Marie Apartments were very good. The setting is beautiful and just a short stroll to the beach. The food with a modest and varied selection every night was amazing tasty with both local produce and recipes. Drinks and snack prices were average for the area. The staff were wonderfully polite and helpful, with a special shout out to Valentina and Tonya who could not help but make us feel so welcome.

Our accommodation was reasonable, however could do with a refresh. On occasion the pool had debris in and recliner covers were dirty.

There were so many things we liked during our stay here! Firstly, the staff were extremely friendly, professional and caring. They were happy to share local tips, advice and genuinely wanted our stay to be the best it could be. The location was perfect for us, just a 5 minute walk from the beach so it was off the main road meaning it was not noisy at all. Some lovely places to eat close by and very close to the town centre. The complex was very quiet when we visited, which meant we had almost exclusive use of the pool.

There really isn’t anything not to like about this place, it is great value for money, well located, it feels secure and the staff were fantastic.

I wouldn’t say it would be best for a family holiday. Was great for us at the time, as we had a child free holiday for a friends wedding. So we enjoyed the peace ! We would definitely be back if it was just the two of us. Wouldn’t be my children as I would feel sorry for other hotel guests 😅 there is much for children too do. However a baby who isn’t at mobile stage would be fine !

Wifi not good in our room, could not really use it. A bit more utensils (glasses, cutlery,...) in the room would be nice, though that was largely compensated by the hotel staff doing the dishes during their daily cleaning :o

The whitewashed buildings covered in bougainvillea were very picturesque, the pool the perfect temperature, and sun loungers all round the pool so you can track the sun. Breakfast was delicious, as was the buffet dinner which we only found out about on arrival, very good value and traditional home cooked Greek food. Valentina was not just a brilliant waitress but also gave us guidance and advice on places to go and see and where to eat. The studio was lovely with a large bedroom, a large sitting room / kitchenette and a bathroom. We woke up cold on the first morning but found the blankets stored above the wardrobe so that was quickly sorted out.

We discovered on the way home that both my daughter and I had each found our mattress to be a little hard but didn't discuss it during the holiday so it can't have been that bad!

On arrival we were greeted with fresh orange juices, it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel area was surrounded by breathtaking gardens with the typical Cretan pink flowers on full bloom all over the place (very well managed by the staff). The staff was very nice to us and professional the whole week we stayed there. The hotel also has a nice pool, the water temperature was always pleasant. The air conditioner worked extremely well in all the four rooms we rented. The food: the breakfast was always fresh and delicious (tea/coffee/orange juice were included). We had the half board option, so we also had dinner: there were different greek dishes every night, all homemade and extremely delicious! (it was buffet style, the drinks/beverages were not included, but you could charge it on your room). There was also a barbecue night one night with greek style grilled meats and many kinds of sides to choose from. The parking (we rented a 9 seater car): there's no dedicated parking space but we could always find a spot to park the car for free. The Analipsi beach is just 350 meters from the property.

The wifi usually didn't work from the rooms but worked well from the pool bar area.

My husband and I visited Paul Marie for our honeymoon! The hotel exceeded our expectations. I can honestly say that everything down to the last detail at Paul Marie was wonderful. The staff was extremely nice. We have never been to a place with friendlier and more helpful staff. The atmosphere in the hotel is extremely conducive to relaxation and romance. You immerse yourself in the magic of the island through the incredible flowers that are everywhere around the complex. The pool is medium in size but absolutely sufficient and we didn't feel any discomfort at all and we like to stay by the pool. The beach is extremely close (3 minutes walk) and it's great! The feeling is that you are on the ocean, not the sea. The hotel is within walking distance of the best (in our opinion) restaurants in Analipsi and all the big shops. Breakfast and dinner were WOW! I was worried about dinner because I wasn't expecting much variety. Fortunately, it was wonderful and very diverse. By the taste of the food, you feel that it is home-made and the products used are local. I personally fell in love with Cretan cuisine and got to know it specifically through our dinners at Paul Marie. Note, we did not eat at any other restaurant on either night! It was so delicious to us. I recommend the hotel for a truly unforgettable, relaxing, and romantic vacation to everyone. You won't go wrong. Be sure to get dinner included in your stay!

The staff is very nice and ready to help you anytime. Breakfasts were exceptional. Mostly it was the same but they change some meals every morning keeping you from getting used to eating the same foods. It was said that rooms are cleaned every two days. In fact they clean them every day! The room Itself is cute with the full of space and the best thing is the balconies decorated with beautiful purple flowers. The hotel property in general is covered in these flowers. The pool is clean and nice. We chilled there when we were tired of going to beaches. Highly recommend. +vibe
