The view, garden and all the facilities inside the studio all new and clean . taverns close by.

No Parking , the parking is possible up on a secondary road / not safe .The studio nr.16 has no intimacy because the balcony/entrance is shared with another apartment so the transit guest/traffic will walk next to you .buzzing AC outdoor unit.

From the moment we arrived we were treated with immense warmth and hospitality by everyone at Skajado. They looked after us with great care and made us feel truly valued guests. We loved the fabulous view over Malia bay from the apartment's terrace and the sound of the waves that lulled us to sleep each night. We'll never forget the glorious sun rises and the full moon. And being able to stroll down through the beautiful gardens to the jetty to swim in the warm sea each day was bliss (especially at sunrise). The kitchen was well equipped so we cooked fairly often (to keep from eating too much - the local restaurants eg Romantic Corner and Maistrali Taverna were great !) We really appreciated having bus stops for buses to Hereklion and Agios Nikolaos only a few minutes walk away, so we didn't need to rent a vehicle to get around. Thanks to the advice of Sandra, of the Blue Ways travel agency in the centre of Stalida, we went on wonderful walks on good paths eg up the hill behind Stalida to the Monastery of Virgin Mary Theogennitor - amazing views - and on to Muxos village (and back) ; along the coast to Sisi via the extensive Minoan palace beyond Malia; and to Old Heronissos . We also took a interesting and well run bus tour with Blue Ways to the Cave of Kiktaion Andron on the Lasithi Plateau via the Monastry of Kera Kardiotissa. There are SO many things we liked - loved! - about Skajado, Stalida, Crete and the lovely people we met...we really look forward to our next visit.

Everything was amazing just for one thing we had to be out of our apartment at 11am and our flight wasn't until 9.30 evening, they said their was a seating area we could stay but when we went down there their was guests there plus another gentleman who didn't make us feel welcome so we wondered around for 7 hours. It would be nice if we could stay in the apartment until 5pm considering that we didn't arrive at the apartment until 8.45pm at the start.

After care when vacating the apartment

Right on the shore as described in the pics. We were in the panoramic view apartment. Every window had a great view. Nice full window from the bedroom facing the see. A nice terrace with umbrella. Additional 360 degree floor on the rooftop which can be exclusively accessed. Easy walk way to the restaurants and beach. Supermarket across the street. Nearby roadside free parking. The cleaning staff did a great job.

Wifi can be better. In the April month the water was not hot enough, probably solar powered.

The location is amazing. Not too far from the city, but a good enough distance to enjoy a more peaceful stay. Close to the sea and with a broad view of the area. The room was very spacious, bright and had all the equipment you might need for both a shorter or longer stay.

Not a lot of cooking utensils in the kitchen (spatulas, bowls). So if you like to cook at home, you might need to ask for more utensils. Other than that, the place is wonderful.

Skajado is beautifully designed and maintained. We had an outdoor spa which was great, and lots of outdoor space. Each apartment is quite different though. The cleaning is extreme, perfect. Views of the town, water and visiting boats are lovely. Swimming off the pier is great, good snorkelling. Beach is a little walk. Just on the edge of town. I've been before, revisited, no disappointments.

I loved everything about this property and cannot wait to visit again- the owner was very lovely and sweet; checked on me to ensure my stay on her property was good and safe. The picture tho are true does not truly capture the beauty of this place- absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. Yes it was toward the end of tourist season but the few guests who were there very polite and nice. Just a few minutes from town and beach- just amazing. As a solo traveler I felt safe and comfortable! Thank you for that.

Great location. Cleaning people very friendly and helpful. Basic features of the apartment were very good.

We would have preferred another room with a bigger patio. We did ask and thought that because we were staying for 12 nights that we would get a preference, but the owner said no. We have identified some apartments we would like to use in the future, but how do you select a specific one on your booking site?

Almost everything was perfect. Modern, clean, very good service. The views from the balcony are out of this world. Very beautiful! Only 1 thing could be better. The shower is very weak and water has variable pressure and temperature. Don't know if it's just like this on Crete but it was a little hard to take a satisfying shower.
