On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly man who showed us where to go for breakfast and gave us the keycard to our room. The room had a lovely sea view and was very clean, the bathroom was a little small and dated but it was spotless and met our needs. The location is ideal, watching the ferries and little boats from the spacious balcony was lovely and it was a short walk to the centre. The receptionist gave us information on how to get to the thermal spa ‘Θερμι’ which was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If I return to Mytilene I would stay here again.

We stayed at Blue Sea Hotel in Mytilene, Lesbos for two nights during our short visit to the beautiful island. Personnel were very friendly, kind and helpful. We also liked our room which has the lovely city view and the sea very much. Thank you so much for your hospitality. Looking forward to staying at Blue Sea Hotel again in our next trip.

I think the a/c needs to be renewed. The balcony became wet (and also slippery) because of the AC discharge water. There were no gluten free food (especially bread)

We had a large corner room facing the harbour. What fantastic views from the large balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was attractive. The location was perfect for those taking a ferry, wanting a swim, exploring the castle, or picking up a hire-car to explore the island at the end of your stay . (You wouldn’t want to try parking around the hotel though!). The breakfast was acceptable. The hotel is professionally run and they can store your bags before check-in if you arrive early, or after check-out if you have an evening ferry.

Bathroom was small and needing modernisation.

The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is excellent, the staff is incredibly sweet! How nice it was to wake up every morning seeing that magnificent sea! Thank you Blue Sea Hotel! The location is great for those arriving by sea, just a few steps from the port. It’s close to lively areas for the evening but still quiet. The staff is amazing, and their communication is excellent. The room was comfortable, and the bed was great. Overall, I’m satisfied and would recommend it.

We stayed in a family room without a balcony, and the room could have had more clothes hangers

Excellent place to stay. It is an old hotel but the facilities are all functioning and super clean. The best part is the view! So fun to watch all the people come and go on the ferries down below. You can’t get a better location in Mytilini. The staff also super friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our car and had to change the date of our stay and they were very friendly and helpful with this.

It’s location is ideal: Center to all places and amazing balcony view of the whole island. The stuff friendly welcoming and always ready to provide assistance on whatever we needed.

I did not like the shower. It was small and it had curtains and the result was a lot of water on the floor. Maybe if the curtains are replaced with other modern shower doors

I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a pleasant experience. The location is perfect—right opposite the ferry port, which made it extremely convenient. The room was clean, recently renovated, and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite throughout my stay. Breakfast was also good, with a variety and fresh options. I would definitely return if I visit the area again

The hotel is overall highly convenient. It is located near the port, and is overall fairly close to most of the sightseeing locations of Mitilene. The entrance hall and dining room are very inviting. And finally the rooms, or at least the one I was staying at was well kept and comfortable.

The elevators are tiny making it somewhat difficult to carry large items with you. Also a cockroach was spotted near one of the rooms, it is unlikely there was an infestation however.

Each time I visit Mytilene I stay at The Blue Sea Hotel. From the welcome upon arrival through my departure. Wonderful selection on the breakfast menu, and again staff very accommodating. My room was refreshed each day. Assistance provided on places to go and how to get there. I mostly saw a gentleman at the reception desk who was absolutely professional, courteous and informative. Unfortunately did not get his name. The location is fantastic. Everything within a short distance of walking. Beautiful view of the Port as well as the Coast Guard vessels.
