On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly man who showed us where to go for breakfast and gave us the keycard to our room. The room had a lovely sea view and was very clean, the bathroom was a little small and dated but it was spotless and met our needs. The location is ideal, watching the ferries and little boats from the spacious balcony was lovely and it was a short walk to the centre. The receptionist gave us information on how to get to the thermal spa ‘Θερμι’ which was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. If I return to Mytilene I would stay here again.

We had a large corner room facing the harbour. What fantastic views from the large balcony. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was attractive. The location was perfect for those taking a ferry, wanting a swim, exploring the castle, or picking up a hire-car to explore the island at the end of your stay . (You wouldn’t want to try parking around the hotel though!). The breakfast was acceptable. The hotel is professionally run and they can store your bags before check-in if you arrive early, or after check-out if you have an evening ferry.

Bathroom was small and needing modernisation.

We would like to thank all the Blue Sea Hotel staff for the wonderful dialogue that started before our holiday and the wonderful attention that continued during the holiday. The rooms are spotless, the breakfast is excellent, the staff is incredibly sweet! How nice it was to wake up every morning seeing that magnificent sea! Thank you Blue Sea Hotel! The hotel is overall highly convenient. It is located near the port, and is overall fairly close to most of the sightseeing locations of Mitilene. The entrance hall and dining room are very inviting. And finally the rooms, or at least the one I was staying at was well kept and comfortable.

The elevators are tiny making it somewhat difficult to carry large items with you. Also a cockroach was spotted near one of the rooms, it is unlikely there was an infestation however.

Each time I visit Mytilene I stay at The Blue Sea Hotel. From the welcome upon arrival through my departure. Wonderful selection on the breakfast menu, and again staff very accommodating. My room was refreshed each day. Assistance provided on places to go and how to get there. I mostly saw a gentleman at the reception desk who was absolutely professional, courteous and informative. Unfortunately did not get his name. The location is fantastic. Everything within a short distance of walking. Beautiful view of the Port as well as the Coast Guard vessels.

Not applicable because I totally enjoyed my stay.

The view was amazing. The location was perfect. The staff were fine. The room, especially the balcony was very good too. Being a bit old, the hotel smelled a bit old as well but it's no big deal to be frank. The dinner is served at a nearby restaurant by a young dynamic team of waiters, the food was above avarage but the Special Pasta, now that was a delight you should definitely try out.

The music from the restaurant next to the hotel was too loud compared to how a small establishment they were. Also, Mytilene may not be good for the elderly or for people with a baby in a stroller because you have to walk everywhere using narrow pavements. Not many attractions to look forward to, mostly a place to eat good food. The breakfast was of standart quality, nothing to look forward to but it was fine, I have no complains - yet the tea kept running out which was a downside.

The location of the hotel is perfect, just across the port.

Our check-in time on the website showed as 1 pm but when we wanted to check-in, since the hotel was exceptionally busy with tourists on that particular day, they told us to come back in an hour or so. We managed to check-in at about 2.15 pm in the end. But they stored our luggages during this time, so it was not too big of a problem in the end.

GREAT location on harbour with good restaurant nearby. Very good view of the bay and town. Friendly staff always willing to help. The room cleaning staff were efficient and friendly.

The breakfast was the same for all our stay, could be more varied. otherwise quality was good. Breakfast should finish at 1030 NOT 10, as people are on holiday and feel they have to rush.

The size of the room for 3 people and the view from the balcony was wonderful. Otherwise, the room was expected, what you will see at 3 star hotel. Breakfast was normal for 3 star hotel. The location is perfect if you're taking a ferry. You don't have to carry all of your bags, it's really 5 min away.

There was not enough power outlet in the room. Since it was hot, we were expecting to use air- conditioner. Although the remote was working, it didn't matter since it wouldn't open at the end. The hair dryer was not working as well.

This is more a 4 star hotel than 3. Great staff, spacious rooms with Aircon and lovely views; despite being on a very busy road by the port, the double glazed rooms are quiet. Breakfast was standard Greek with plenty of local food as well as eggs and bacon. Good position to walk to the centre, restaurants and the bus station. Must visit the great art collections at Varea & the archaeological museum.
