The hotel itself was really nice and clean. The staff was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and available to answer questions at any time. We left a day earlier than expected because of the location of the hotel (we were tired of walking up and down the hill). Our ferry was early and staff packed us a lunch since we missed the free breakfast that morning. It was very thoughtful.

The location. The hotel was very nice but it is located on a hill. We did not have a car or any type of transport and walking was our only option. Other reviews stated it was a quick walk down the hill to the main area, this is somewhat true. The hill is pretty steep and in the summer time it was truly exhausting. We attempted to use the bus once and the bus never stopped at the location by the hotel forcing us to walk to the bus station.

Perfect! The owner Nikos and his staff (Antonia, Angelo, Anastasia and all the other staff) are so friendly and hospitable. Always available and really welcoming. The name speaks for itself. Those sunset views are worth the stay. Rooms are comfortable, every little detail matters and you can see this throughout the Hotel. Cocktails and the bar menu are just as good. Very close to Parikia, easy to walk or get a bus back close enough to the hotel. Highly recommend this Hotel.

Sunset View was a slice of heaven! The staff was like family and made our honeymoon for my wife and I so memorable that we wish we were back there now. The hotel was definitely 5 star, and we couldn't have picked a better place. The view by the pool and rooftop was immaculate and worth seeing the sunset every day. Breakfast was delicious, and the facilities were clean and kept in great condition. Thank you, Nico, Jimmy, Anastasia, Rania, Samuella, Maria, and friends, for hosting such a special time for my wife and I. You really made it memorable... next time we'll be back with our family and friends. Cheers!

The hotel is set high above the town, providing amazing views over the ocean. The sunsets are spectacular. Our room was lovely, beds comfortable and we had a huge veranda with sun lounges and outdoor table. Perfect for afternoon drinks. The hotel has a lovely restaurant and food was amazing. I can highly recommend the cocktails. The bar staff do a wonderful job. Any requests were quickly actioned. You can also hire ATV’s through the hotel and park them onsite which was great for getting in and out of town as it is a steep climb back to the hotel.

Wonderful place to stay for some relaxing days. The pool area is great, the people working at Sunset view are so friendly and accomodating and our room was so nice with amazing view and outdoor area. When we asked if they had glutenfree alternatives for breakfast, as one of us has celiac disease, they bought several alternatives. The breakfast was wonderful by the way! Freshly cut fruit salad, different sorts of eggs, greek specialties and what you would expect. Couldnt have been hippier about our stay!

Its not a long walk to the beach or the centre, but there is a lot of traffic and no comfortable place to walk. Not the hotels fault, but just to be aware.

We loved staying at Sunset View for our honeymoon - the staff was super helpful, very communicative, and knowledgeable on any questions we had. The breakfast was amazing and we ate at the hotel every morning. Room was big and spacious and balcony was very romantic with hot tub and a great view of the city during the day and night. Staff helped us with bringing bags up and down stairs and arranging an ATV while we were there - highly recommend.

We had a few issues with our room from previous occupants like the umbrella on balcony being broken, the screen for balcony door was broken, and the hot tub was dirty for the first day we stayed there. Hot tub was cleaned the next day though which was nice so we could use it.

The hotel is fantastic with a view of the sunset (as the name would suggest) to die for. The room had a great view. The breakfast was simple but delicious with things like local honey to try. Swimming pool was nice and always had loungers, The food served at the pool bar is actually very good its a shame more people don't eat there. Michael the bar man was excellent and made fantastic cocktails!

If I was going to be picky compared to our friends room the bathroom was bit dated but I understand the owner is doing that up this year. Also location you can walk into town or the beach but I would say they are not particular nice walks with very little pavements but thats the price of having such a fabulous view.

Absolutely everything! The view of the sea and the sunset is unmatched. The rooms are spacious, and the balconies are the perfect touch. The pool is refreshing and the breakfast top tier. The bar and restaurant amazing too. The staff were exceptional. So attentive and helpful with transportation and reservations. The perfect stay!

Not so much that I didn't like....but the bathroom is small. Also, if you don't have a car, the walk uphill can be quite strenuous in the heat from town. The views make it all worth it, though!

The pool, the view and the staff who run hotel are the stand outs here. I already knew the hotel was up a huge hill and out of the main town, so this was not a problem for us. The hotel organised a transfer at a reasonable price. The cocktails were lovely and our dinner was also nice. The room was a little on the small side and a little basic for the price. I would still stay here again. The stand out was the view and pool area.

I didn’t like that you needed a key card for the aircon to be on so the room at times was hot to come back to.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Everything is great about Sunset View. The hotel is clean and extremely beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and quiet, the sunset view is magnificent and the staff are one of the best I ever had. I was mostly served by Michael at the restaurant and Marinela at the reception and they made my stay even better with their professionalism and positive attitude. The breakfast was also delicious. Two nights wasn't enough but I will 100% come back.

The only downside is that I had to leave!
