The staff at the pool/restaurant/bar area was just amazing. Extremely kind, welcoming and paying attention to every detail. Breakfast was repetative but selection was quite wide so there was always something different to choose from. Room was big with big terrace for leisure time (I liked that they put in every room anti-mosquito device, a very nice detail). Quiet surroundings, without any noise. Location is a bit tricky if you want to visit nearby beaches but if you come with a car or you rent a car/scooter, it's perfect.

Room was not at the highest cleaning level. Around the bed and in room angles there were "dust balls" that were accumulating there for quite some time. Toillet was, however, perfectly clean.

Hotel is close to Thessaloniki Airport. We chose to stay there initially for 3 nights but extended the stay to 7 days because we were very impressed with the facilities. The Breakfast Buffet was excellent from Bacon and Eggs through to pastries, fresh fruit and continental cheese/meat mix. Pool area was well maintained with complementary water for those sitting round and using the pool. The pool bar staff were very friendly and no request was too much. Restaurant was excellent and again staff very welcoming and efficient.

The location was ideal for the airport but there was little else close by. Taxi ride into the city if you wished to see the sights. Also there was a beach area (Perea) close by but car or taxi only way of getting there. Views from the hilltop location of the hotel excellent with all the city spread out below. We enjoyed watching the planes coming and going in the evening.

Good hotel, comfortable, close to the airport, nice pool. Check-in and out at the reception was excellent thanks to the gentleman that serviced us. Rooms were not ready (we were too early) , an offer to store our luggage and use towels and go to the beach, friendly, thoughtful and professional

At breakfast we noticed that greek people spoke to the staff and special coffees were made for them. Nobody asked or offered this to us. Staff at breakfast was distant; not unfriendly but also not friendly. Not personal and you feel a bit second class customer compared to others.

Quiet and relaxed hotel. Good sized room, with balcony looking towards the sea. Added bonus of access to a pool. Ideal location for flight back the next day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose to have dinner at the hotel for ease after a long journey in the car and found it to have a good selection including vegetarian options which we enjoyed. Able to sit looking over the pool area. Lovely setting and sunset.

Good Location near the Airport great for pre or post flight stay. Parking, facilities, good rooms and bathroom, nice balcony with sea/airport view, nice restaurant. Reception was very welcoming and professional, in fact all the staff were lovely. Would stay here again for the convenience of the location and service/facilities.

The pool area was very busy with I ‘think’ non guests?? Very loud, Techno music from the Pool Bar didn’t suit the ambience/style of the hotel at all. Shame as a nice area and was looking forward to relaxing there ‘by the pool’

We stay regularly at the Royal Hotel and it never disappoints. The location is extremely convenient for Thessaloniki International Airport yet the location is quiet and peaceful. The views over the Thermaikos Gulf are magnificent. Mountain View rooms and garden view rooms are also lovely. The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The foyer has relaxing armchairs and sofas where you can take drinks or coffees or simply enjoy the view. The restaurant is airy and peaceful with a good wine menu. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and includes traditional Greek dishes as well as cooked breakfast items and a delicious selection of sweet and savoury pies, meats, cheeses, breads, cakes, cereals, yoghurts, fruits and preserves. A selection of teas and coffees are available and everything is served by an enthusiastic and helpful young team. We always receive a warm welcome and we’re always happy to return!

The staff was very attentive, one day the pool was full, but the staff still managed to bring out some sunbeds. The breakfast was really good, even though every day was the same. The last day we checked out at 6 am so they prepared a small breakfast bag for us. The location wasn't the best, the beach is a 12-15 minutes drive, but it compensated with the pool. The good things was there weren't too many kids, during our 6 day stay we only saw one or 2 kids at the pool.

The coffee offered with the breakfast was just plain brewed coffee, for any other coffee we would have to pay at the bar, I wish they had at least a small espresso machine.

The rooms are a bit worn out, but is acceptable.

We really enjoyed the hotel. It has a beautiful atmosphere, and all the staff are very kind and energetic. They always strive to make our stay even more enjoyable. We liked it so much that we have booked it again for the last day of our trip! Breakfast was good !

There were a few minor issues. Firstly, it's difficult to find online taxis, and getting to the city center takes a bit longer. Additionally, the restaurant is far away, but the hotel itself has its own restaurant, which is convenient. The prices seem reasonable to me! The food is also delicious, although the beverage selection wasn't very exciting for us. However, the hotel's location is truly beautiful and peaceful.

The staff above all. We had dinner one night, and it was excellent. The hotel was also lovely and clean.

Having to carry our suitcases up a long flight of steps. They need to put a ramp in or have a porter service in our opinion.
