Hello, The staff and hotel was perfect, especially our new friend John at Reception and Elsa at Breakfast in the mornings. However I have the following observations: 1. We had dinner on our first night, the dinner food in Pergola is terrible and really expensive, frozen pizza and 7.5e for chips !! 2. Hotel bar too expensive, this is why we drank in ZEN bar most nights, LOWER your prices in bar. My wife bought a tea in the pool bar and it cost 4.5 euro ??

Bar drinks far too expensive, we drink there only once, Pergola restaurant dinner food is terrible.

Fabulous location. Right on the beach and close to lots of lovely restaurants, shops. The vibe around the pool was always very relaxed. There are only a few sun beds around each pool but the pool was never busy (even in August). The hotel, pool and grounds were kept beautifully clean. We had a superior double room…. It was clean and functional, maybe a little dated but had everything you needed. The balcony was lovely. Reception staff were amazing, so friendly and very helpful. Breakfast in the pergola restaurant was great, nice and relaxed and a good choice of food. We had an evening meal here also which was really nice and you get 15% off being a hotel guest. Bus stop to Fira is just around the corner. Take beach shoes…. The sea is beautiful but getting in is tricky due to the very slippery volcanic rock.

It wasn’t a huge problem but the hotel didn’t offer a room to use for a shower when departing late in the day so have to use the outside pool showers. There isn’t a large restroom area either just a small toilet cubicle so getting ready for the flight home isn’t great.

Beautiful hotel. Great pools. The beach is right across the street. The staff are super helpful and nice. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. A minimarket on-premises. Parking nearby, though it would help if they left the rear gate that leads directly to it open. Anyone can walk into the hotel freely through other entrances anyway, so not seeing the security concern.

The WiFi was spotty and unreliable. The breakfast staff wasn't very courteous. They also struggled to get enough food out when it was getting busy. When I asked for olive oil to add to my vegetables, they asked for 2 euros extra. Never had this happen before and for sure wasn't expecting it in Greece. Room cleaning service wasn't the best.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was spacious and simply decorated with a clean, minimalist design that carried a charming Greek vibe. It was spotless and cleaned daily. The hotel reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A young man at the front desk stood out - his passion for his work was clear. He gave every guest his full attention, making everyone feel genuinely welcome. Every hotel would benefit from having such a dedicated team; it’s the kind of service that makes you want to return again and again. We had three meals included at the restaurant connected to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Over our 6-night stay, we had 12 meals there for lunch and dinner. The food was always fresh, tasty, and served in very generous portions - so much so that sometimes we didn’t order full meals because it was more than enough. There were a lot to choose from - starters, salads, mains (fish, meat, pasta and Greek dishes). The restaurant staff were friendly, laid-back, and had a great sense of humour. They made us feel welcome every time we walked in, always giving guests their full attention and Greek hospitality. Two swimming pools and beach nearby, beach chairs at the extra charge (15 euros) but worth it. We would definitely have the same holiday package again.

The internet was a bit slow at times, though we’re used to exceptionally fast and reliable Wi-Fi back home in Lithuania, which is among the best in the world.

Great hotel with a very friendly concierge and great amenities. We had a nice and cozy mezzanine room with a pool view. Parents sleep on the main level while kids have a little mezzanine where their beds are located. There is no door between the two spaces but that didn't impact the privacy. The bathroom could use a refresh. The hotel offers a restaurant called Pergola, where breakfast is served, a mini market/ convenience store and a sports bar where you can have a drink while watching a football game projected on a wall for a patio -cinema experience. There are two outdoor pools, one of them with a baby tub. The restaurant offers beach tables and staff serves drinks and snacks to beach beds. Snack need to be ordered but beach beds are free of charge for the hotel guests. Breakfasts are amazing as they come from the same kitchen that serves the restaurant. The restaurant itself is one of the best on the entire Perissa beach walk and is reasonably priced. Veggerra Hotel guests get a discount for all meals in the Pergola restaurant. If you want to experience the old Santorini charm and see it's medieval towns and villages you need to rent a car or an ATV. Concierge is very helpful with planning your trips. The beach offers amazing sunrise that is just as great as the famous Santorini sunset.

We were not able to reheat the dinner leftovers from the night before. One of the restaurant hosts said "yesterday was yesterday and today is today". Well, if people lived by that wisdom, they would have less money for a vacation and the hotel would make less money, wouldn't it?

I really liked the location by the sea. The room was spacious and we had access to the good internet and daily cleaning service.

However, the hotel appeared a little old and so was the furniture. Additionally, there were no bathrobes and slippers provided. While staying at the hotel, we occasionally spotted cockroaches on the premises, but thankfully, there were none in our room. The ground in the water on the beach is not sand, but solidified lava. I fell a couple of times while trying to get out of the water. Another thing to note is that until July 16, the sunbeds were for free. But starting from July 16, they began to charge 15 euros per day for two sunbeds and an umbrella.

Iaonnes ("John") at the reception makes you feel immensely welcomed. Renia is helpful too as she attended all our requests (eg, blackout curtain, late checkouts, etc). The location is awesome, with the beach sunbeds right in front of the entrance. Plus, if you fancy a some sport before breakfast, you can easily trail uphill towards Ancient Thera and the small Church. Close-by, there's also a pull-up bar right on the beach. Breakfast is generous and varied. Good starting point to cover the island North to South with a rental car.

The agreement Veggera Hotel has with Vergara Restaurant is convenient for half board. Improvement? A better communication from the restaurant on the wine price would have been appreciated (we've switched the house wine for a bottle whose price increased from 15€ to 40€...and were only informed after )

Lovely place, very close to the beach, peaceful, not too crowdy and very kind and friendly staff. Tasty food- more than we could eat! Everything was delicious! Our room was spacious, comfy, we had a mountain view and balcony. There was a fridge in the room, air con and a safe (for free). We had an amazing 2 weeks, feeling gratitude 🙏

Would be great if we had a kettle in the room. Can't think of anything else I didn't like.

Perfect location ! And I think this is one of the best resort at SANTORINI, I do not reccoment in other city ,because here you have sea next to the hotel ...at Oia or others not ! Really clean rooms ! Great Breakfast.... Dinner/Lunch too big porsion ,I couldn't eat it ! Haha .....I totally can recommend this Resort! And The best is John at the reception !!!!

It would need more comfy bed. And maybe smaller porcion for dinner that they can save the food. But I was totally fine about everything ! I will come again

I liked the location most of all, l wanted a relaxing week away and I got it! The hotel is literally looking onto the beach. It’s clean and staff were amazing - I can’t remember their names but two young men on reception were extremely helpful from the very beginning and never once failed in that. I would definitely go back and in fact, have a week booked in May to return to Veggera! The room was basic as was the bathroom, nothing fancy if that’s what you’re looking for.

The restaurant in the evening wasn’t my favourite part but totally fine just the same. I like to try out different places to eat so I was glad not to have booked full board. Breakfast was fine, lots of buffet options.
