Close proximity to airport and the town/harbor. Best baklava I have ever tasted! Breakfast buffet was delicious.

Wished the pool stayed open later (they close at 6pm).

Nice resort hotel. Easy check in and check out procedures. Good selection at open buffet at breakfast, good food quality. Beach and facilities are very good.

Breakfast ends at 10:00 AM. Quite early for a resort hotel.

The aeroplanes flying so close over head every 40 minutes , really annoying

Location was good. The resort has had a renovation on half the rooms. The main areas and corridors need some work. The staff mainly were average.

The reservation manager Popi was the most inappropriate and rudest staff member to represent this property. She put a bad taste in our mouth from day one. Extremely rude and condescending. The manager on the hand appeased us and was happy to hear our complaint and work it through. The management at Doryssa really need to teach Miss Popi some hospitality do’s and dont’s. Manoli who worked at night was the epitome of the type of staff they need. Bravo Manoli

Breakfast was great, lots of choice but it got very busy and they were constantly running out of things like juice, more frequent top ups would definitely help. The beach and the sun loungers on the beach were great.

Incredibly noisy around the pool due to all the kids, it would be great if they could use some of the massive gardens to add an adults only pool - would make a huge difference, we ended up going to the beach most days as the pool gave us a headache which was a shame. It was also very expensive for what it was, i think it would be more of a 4 star than 5.

We had an amazing time at the Doryssa resort. The rooms were impeccably clean, modern, quiet, and maybe most importantly, with an amazingly strong AC!!! Really comfortable beds. 3 amazing restaurants on the property (Asterias was our favorite — perhaps the best Caesar’s salad i’ve ever had) and the breakfast buffet was delicious. Staff was very helpful and I especially would like to call out Benek, the guest relations officer, who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay on the hotel as well as the island. We will definitely be back here. Highly recommended!!

The location was great. It was on the beach which was fully organised. The beach beds were very comfortable and the call button attachhed to the umbrella was great. The beach had some pebbles, so you might want to bring wet shoes but it is not a must. The bathroom of the standart room was small. We upgraded to executive sea view room and it was the perfect size. The hotel is accessible for people with mobility issues. Beach restaurant was great during lunch time and at night we tried the Italian restaurant, also good but most of the options from menu were not available as they were almost closing for the season. Unfortunately Samas was closed. The Greek restaurant Pasas was fair. Better to go to town.

We checked out on their last date. It is better to return few days before they close for the season. Never stay until the last date. The whole staff leaves at the same time. What they should have done in my honest opinion, staff leaves one day later so the guests who have a ferry to catch in the late afternoon can have the opportunity to have lunch at the pool bar and maybe swim in the morning if the weather is good.

Hotel concept was very nice . It was like an old Greek town . Every room were unique. Beach were very nice , water was so clean . All staff were very friendly and polite.

The only thing I could suggest is there are many Turkish people visiting this hotel . In the room on tv channels there isn’t any Turkish channels . I would be nice even just one news channel in Turkish . As we are good neighbours I’m sure our friends would take care of this :)

we just enjoyed a great stay at doryssa. the room was quiet, comfortable and had a great view. the food was excellent, from the breakfast buffet to the Asian inspired Unan restaurant. best of all was the front desk staff, led by Spyros. Xenia. Andrea and especially Marina went out of their way to accommodate some travel snafus, give us guidance on things to do and provide luggage storage while waiting for our ferry in another town. I can't recommend this hotel and staff highly enough.

it was a bit odd that coffee and water were only provided on the first day (though they did bring coffee when we asked). service at Asterias was hectic when we visited, with only one server able to take orders and payment, and the manager didn't seem to be helping out.

The buffet was exquisite but try the Asterias restaurant for a luxury experience. The sea is crystal clear, albeit a little cold but you get used to it and it’s refreshing. The village is extremely cute and everything is so well thought out - down to the little fountains on street corners to wash your feet. The shop at the village square has most everything you might need on vacation. Boutiques have a good selection.

On one of the nights we needed an extra pique cover for the night and even though they called to let us know they would bring it by, we didn’t receive it.
