Initially we were placed in the annex building ( which is further down from the main hotel and home to the hotel’s second pool. We were moved to the main building after 1 night and it was so much nicer. This hotel is right on the beach with stunning sunsets. You do have to pay 8 euro for the sun loungers. There are no sun loungers by the main pool. However, there are sun loungers at the second pool - which is lovely. The food in the being was good enough - always something to choose pizza - spaghetti bolognese - desserts etc Air con is free and amazing. Hotel staff are super great especially Eliza (who was a great help) There is a supermarket 5 minutes away. A beach bar 5 mins away and there are few restaurants local. Coffee shop is 9 mins walk away (Matt Cafe) it is very good. Taxi to Rethymno is 20 euros each way - bus is 2 euro each way. Overall this hotel is brilliant for the price.

The annex building needs some love.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Great value for money – the room was cleaned every day, which we really appreciated. The location is excellent, right by the sea, and the hotel also has a nice pool. Breakfasts were decent, with enough variety to start the day well.

However, there were a couple of downsides: there weren’t many entertainment options for children, which would have made the stay even better for families. Also, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes, especially in the evenings.

The hotel offers excellent value for money, surpassing expectations in many areas. The breakfast is decent, with a good variety that changes slightly each day, and the dinner options are impressive, especially the selection of meats, vegetables, salads, and breads. The bar service is also commendable. While the dessert could use significant improvement, it's a humble option that is available for guests. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, even though the furnishings are a bit dated. Everything in the room was functional, contributing to a comfortable stay. The location is a major advantage, conveniently situated between Heraklion and Chania, making it ideal for those with a rental car. The nearby bus station is also a plus. The hotel’s beach access is fantastic, with a pleasant beach, despite a few rocks in the sand, and offers stunning sunset views. And the staff...amazing!!

The hotel shows its age and could benefit from a renovation to freshen up the facilities. While everything is clean and in good working order, the overall appearance feels outdated. That said, the hotel still offers good value for the money, so while it may not meet high expectations in terms of modernity, it does deliver on basic comfort and cleanliness.

We had a wonderful family holiday, 3 rooms, with small children and grandparents. The hotel is not super modern, but clean and you have a feeling you are really welcomed. The people working there are very kind, friendly and helpful. Location is great, the hotel's beach is lovely, 2 sunbeds with umbrella cost 8EUR/day, the beach bar is not overpriced and they serve good food and drinks (staff also really lovely there). Our rooms were cleaned every day with sheets and towels changed every 2 days. Houskeeping ladies were also very kind. Breakfast and dinner is ok, a wide selection of fresh dishes, salads, sweets, maybe a bit boring after a few days, but we always found something and were never hungry. Drinks are not included with dinner, but they are well priced, the terrace overlooking the sea is a wonderful place for having your meals. A shop with everything you would need (including souvenirs and swimming gear) is just around the corner a 2 mins walk. There was always parking on the street around the hotel for our rented cars .

If I have to look for something then it would be the beds maybe - not too comfortable for us. Breakfast and dinner - the variety of dishes was a bit boring but as there are so many, you cant really go hungry.

I stayed at the hotel from June 28th to July 8th and was totally amazed. First of all, the professionalism of personnel, they all speak fluently English, German, Greek (of course) and occasionally other languages. I would like to thank all of them and especially Katerina who gave me the best room ever with the sea view, and always assisted in anything I asked for. All personnel is super friendly and it feels like you are a special guest. The hotel location is beautiful but a bit tough to get to from Heraklion by city bus. The driver missed the stop Sfakaki (you should tell him in advance where to stop and also remind). I traveled alone and didn't have a transfer, on the way back I had to order a private taxi which was a bit pricey. But other tourists especially from Germany had transfers (big bus that picked them up) depending on their tour agency agreements I guess. The room was very neat and clean, the ladies change towels once per 3 days and wash the floor every day that I didn't see in other hotels (that's bravo!). The sea was sometimes warm and sometimes cool depending on the wind direction. You should watch the color of the flag on the beach - green and yellow is OK with some waves, red - storm, you can't swim, the guard usually signals about that. But anyway the sea is wonderful. The food was good, I had HB, and I liked the dinners more because of meals variety. The drinks are served at separate price. There is a supermarket just 4 minutes walk from the hotel where you can find EVERYTHING from fresh fruits to women hygiene goods and children toys. Usually I bought white wine at the supermarket, one bottle 0.75l only 6 euro (White Sail), very delicious. And local beer is also nice. The beach bar offers delicious food also, I loved tuna salad and gyros pita (7 and 4 euros respectively). The beach is nice but the deckchair and the umbrella costs 5 euro per person.

Staff was great - from the reception, to the waiters and cleaners, everyone was very friendly and on point. The beach was just below the hotel, with plenty of space to drop a towel, play with kids, or just chill. The beach bar has everything you might need for a full day. Rooms had firmer beds, which we preferred,, and we slept really well during our stay. We booked a half-board, and it was perfectly fine choice-wise. Don't expect extravagance, but enough good food for both breakfast & dinner.

There was a smell of trash that was piled up near the hotel - not a hotel's problem, but local services should make sure to take the trash more than once a week, especially in season. Also, sunbeds on the beach aren't free of charge for the hotel's guests, but there's a daily charge of 8€ for two sunbeds + umbrella. Weird, but at least they weren't expensive.

A quiet family vacation, a small hotel on the seashore, very clean grounds and wonderful rooms. Incredible sea views, especially sunsets. Very friendly staff who are always in touch with you.

The only negative point was that you had to pay for water. It would be great if water was included, but you raised the price a little so that people wouldn't be surprised that you have to pay for regular water.

Very good and tasty breakfast!!! The dinner was overall good! Close to the beach and the sea ! Magic landscape especially the sunset!!! Extremely helpful staff!!!

The room needs a bit of renovation.The signal of the internet sometimes doesn't exist or the wifi internet usually cuts off! We couldn't make a call as there weren't any signals but after the room upgrade, fortunately the wifi internet was good!Also, it would be preferable if some local traditional dances were implemented or some local traditional meals added.

Clean, friendly personal (even if some of them don't speak english), facilities (including pool), position (on the beach) Very good food even if there are not many choises.

Unlike 2 years ago, the staf barely speak english and at reception (ecxept the guy on night shift) they didn't solve my requests, i had to ask 2 or 3 times to be solved. Booking on "Booking" goes wrong, I don't know if was from booking or frome reception (I got the requested room but the no of guests was wrong)

For breakfast opened 8pm, could be earlier (6.30-7), at list coffee section. Food was tasty, but could have more barbecue options, traditional grease deserts, like cookies, baklava.
