Location was superb, right on the beach, waking up to the waves each morning. The staff were always friendly and really helpful with any questions or issues we had. Food was delicious and plentiful during meal times. Our whole experience was super relaxing and exactly what we needed.

Little things like having to pay a cash deposit at the spa for towels for the pool. No snacks being available between 16:30-18:30 (which is a problem if you had an early lunch or came back from a day trip) nor any food being available after 21:30. Having a dress code but not enforcing it, either have one or don’t, but we made the effort to comply and bring with appropriate clothes, while other guests showed up in flip flops and shorts etc. Need more plant-based protein options to add variety in the buffet. These are little things, that keep us from giving 10/10.

I recently stayed at Rethymno Palace and had an overall pleasant experience, though there were both positives and negatives. On the plus side, the hotel was clean, located right on the beach, and had a great beach bar with friendly staff. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the huge swimming pool was a standout feature.

However, the hotel didn’t quite meet 5-star standards, and the atmosphere was far from peaceful, with noisy guests throughout the day. All in all, it's a good base for exploring the area but not ideal if you're seeking luxury or tranquillity.

Food was very good, fresh and different everyday, the range of cocktails in all inclusive offer was fantastic, room and hotel was very clean, but the most important what I have to mention is Staff. People working there are extremely helpful and polite, very welcoming and their hospitality...I have never met this before in any other place, 10/10. We had such a great week in Rethymno Palace especially on the beach bar with fantastic guys working there. Excellent Location, on the beach and within a short drive to the wonderful town of Rethymno. Friendly and attentive staff, go that extra mile. Rooms we had were very spacious, adjoining , with a balcony overlooking the sea, just as we requested. A huge choice of food at Breakfast and never overcrowded. Plenty of amenities, gym, bars (great cocktails on the beach), spa, shop ect Overall a great stay and certainly would like to return for sure. Word of warning get your beach shoes, The sand is somewhat coarse and hot, and the sea area a little rocky, Buying these shoes, after toughing it out the first couple of days without them, made a whole lot of difference to the beach experience, believe me.

Was an all inclusive resort, so food options were buffet and limited. All pool loungers were “reserved” with towels very early and no one using them. Shouldn’t be allowed.

What I liked about the accommodation was that the staff were very nice and had fast service in the restaurant. There was both a pool and close to the sea and it was a very nice and lovely environment.

What I didn't like was that the soda and juice served tasted very bad. It was ready soda in machines and not in regular cocoa cola bottles. It tasted very much of chemicals. The only place that served good soft drinks was inside the Main restaurant.

The hotel was very good all round, well decorated and thought out and spotless. Staff from reception to waiters, cleaners, bar staff, Spa, pool area and restaurant were excellent. A good selection of foods were available at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bedroom was a good size, we booked a double room with sea view, although the sea views are side on in the majority of cases. The bathroom was a generous size and well done out. Towels were changed daily when the room was cleaned along with a large bottle of water provided in the room every day. Tea and coffee making facilities were also available. It was peaceful and quiet but the beach bar was a bit livelier if you wanted more life. The cocktail bar, run by Marco, was also very nice with a good selection of drinks, although not all were included in the all inclusive package, which I think is normally the case anyway.

The one thing that could be improved is the set up of the double bed. It was actually 2 twin beds pushed together and when you moved closer to the centre they would separate as they were not secured in any way and they were also made up separately not with double bed bedding. The pillows were also a bit hard for my taste.

The private beach and the hotel was superb.

My parents stayed in a sea facing view apartment . Unfortunately the toilet drain facility left an awful stench for 2 nights . The handyman was prompt and attended to the problem but unfortunately the odour remained. My parents were moved to another room and were luckily upgraded to a nice suite. Thank you

Maybe more place in closet for t- shirts It would be nice And also for the deposit box in the room, you need to pay for daily use 3 EU per day.
