Beach is perfect , reception team extremely nice and helpful , food is great same as a staff working in main restaurant .

Beach bar day time staff was extremely rude ! They been to busy talking to each other and ignoring people waiting .. when was 16:43 we wanted to order cocktail ( waiting 10 min as staff was busy talking with each other ) then the guy said to me 16:45 no more coctails . When I said but it’s 16:43 and I’m waiting 10 min he said and what and start lounging . Not a great experience :-/ especially that every one in a hotel is extremely nice apart from bartenders from beach bar ..

1. Too much bureaucracy; half an hour of paperwork for check-in, filling out the form for visiting the sauna! 2. Bar on the beach - a glass of ice with syrup and a small piece of pineapple (they call it a cocktail) for 10 euros! 3. Multiple problems with sinks in showers. We flood the room every time using the shower 4. Really cold water in the covered pool

Room service and cleanliness were great. The staff was always very helpful and accommodating. There is pretty much anything you want within the hotel premises. You don't miss anything. Parking is available and covered. There is a great variety of food, especially local food options are available. Even if you go to eat a small portion, you end up eating much more in the buffet or taverna. A la carte options are also really nice.

None of the below are major items, but small notes to consider. There are many restaurants and guest types. Keeping track of all the opening hours, including food and drinks per restaurant per your guest type, is very confusing. Menus don't necessarily reflect what you need to pay (it is never more than what's written). It is hard to plan your meals, I would prefer to make it simpler. The sea is not very ideal for swimming, especially with little kids. Even in the family area, there are sharp rocks close to the shore. Mini market is very expensive in the hotel but it has many things you might need but forget to bring. There is not much if you want to leave the hotel.

Clean beach and very nice swimming pools never had a problem to find sun-beds. Food was delicious and with enough variety to keep us happy for a week.

Not much, check-in process was not the best and rooms feel a bit outdated but they are big and very clean. Besides that we really enjoy the hotel.

Breakfast is varied and tasty. Good taverna with very good food and friendly staff. Lots of facilities in the resort, pools and nice bar on the beach.

Furniture a bit old, location not so close to Rethymno. Prices quite high at the bar.

The whole compound is very beautiful. The design is perfect for the environment and the landscaping creates a lovely atmosphere.

As a B&B guest I understandably had to pay for a buffet dinner ticket, but I don't think they needed to charge me for the water. It's summer by the sea and to be honest they should have drinking fountains where people might also fill a water bottle, if for no other reason than at least to make it easier for people to keep their children hydrated.

The hotel is matured one with a beautiful garden in one part of the territory. Beach is long, partially stone and sand. A lot of offers for food and entertainment possibilities at the premisses. Staff is going above and beyond to make the guest stay perfect. We really appreciate that! Love you guys! The hotel was full and we got an upgrade from sea view room which was unavailable any more to a bungalow which I loved. Air conditioners worked well and quiet. Beds were comfy. There are shops, restaurant, car rentals etc. right outside on the street. And we loved to go to the Rethymna old town which is just 6km away.

The bathrooms in some rooms were a bit dated and some rooms in the main building needs to be refurbished to keep up with the five-star level the hotel is saying to have. But all clean still. Also, the carpets in the corridors of the main building are old and not complimenting the overall quality at all.
