The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even upgraded us for free to a junior suite with a small private pool. The room was very spacious and clean. There was a coffee machine and capsules in the room to make coffee. The location was within walking distance to everything. The breakfast was great with many options available for vegetarians as well.

The curtains in the room are not completely light-blocking and there even is some space left between the curtain and the wall, causing the morning light to enter the room. Unfortunately, I have a big issue with light and I woke up before 6 AM every morning. Also, the mattress was a bit too soft for my taste but that is just my personal preference. On the same street, next to the hotel, there are live strip shows and bars. It didn't really affect us(told my toddler that the lady in leather pants was catwoman and the guy in leather mask was batman 🤣) , but it might be an issue for families with young children.

Came to Rhodes last Friday spontaneously, based on a totally last minute decision. I chose Alexia Hotel & Spa even though it was quite expensive compared to other hotels this time of year, but the location seemed perfect, the pictures were beautiful and the reviews were good. The room turned out to be exactly as in the pictures, with a private patio and a pool. Everything was clean and new, there was always a good music playing and great atmosphere. The food in the hotel restaurant was great! I almost never eat at hotel restaurants unless it’s some kind of a unique place with recommendations, so I was really surprised by the quality and the taste. There’s also a spa, and me as a heavy massage user, took a few treatments which were very good and professional, I felt truly relaxed after. But the real deal about this place for me were the staff. They were so nice and attentive to me, I instantly became friends with literally most of them. Meltem, the guest relations manager is super professional and such a lovely and generous person, who strives for making everything perfect for the guests and taking care of all the details. She’s also hosting special events with live music and traditional dancing which makes a great attraction for the guests and the tourists that stay nearby. I can honestly say that my entire experience there was really good and I want to say a big thanks to everyone for being so kind and friendly to me. Nikitas, Alexandra, Angie, Stavros, Alex and also Maria and all the breakfast team - you are the best and I appreciate everything you’ve done for us. If I ever come back to Rhodes it will definitely be to Alexia Hotel & Spa😍🥰

Well the only thing I didn’t like were the pillows They are not so comfortable to say the least😅

We really enjoyed our stay, staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely breakfast with excellent choices, the bar area was comfortable and cool to sit away from the pool area, in the heat of the day. I had a hot stone massage and facial which was fantastic. As the location was accessible to the town, which was what we wanted, inevitably there was nighttime noise from nearby bars and restaurants. The air conditioning in the bedrooms could be improved, we had two rooms for our family, one room had better air conditioning. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, the staff were fantastic and the location enabled us to explore the town, particularly for our teenage family giving them independence to enjoy the town and facilities.

As we arrived from our hotel of 8 days in Lindos we were surprised by a free upgrade of our room to one of the luxury rooms they had with a private pool. The staff was extremely nice and well dressed. The hotel is situated very well in the capital of Rhodos with a lot of nice restaurants and bars near it. For young couples it is recommended cause it is next to the strip and close to the beach.

Our only downside is that we could only stay in this hotel for 3 days. We wanted to stay longer and asked the staff but they needed to ask the reservation manager. Unfortunately we couldn't arrange a longer stay at the hotel in the short time we had and our flight agency wouldn't change cause it took too long for us to get an answer from Mercure.

We enjoyed all the facilities the Mercure Alexia had to offer. We opted out of having the buffet breakfast in the restaurant in the hotel, but had coffee every morning by the bar/terrace along with a fruit platter which was delicious. The rooms were comfortable and clean as was the hotel throughout. We enjoyed a treatment at the Spa as well as booked a hire car and day trip to Lindos. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved being here! The room had a good size, it was clean, nice view to the sea, clean pool, nice bar and dinner place, had a nice balcony, big king bed, so with our son we had a good night sleep together. The breakfast was great, many delicious food could be eaten. Cleaning was done every day, nice and tidy. Let me mention the receptionists who were AMAZING! My son became sick with a virus on our 3rd day and they gave a lot of extra help for us (extra cleaning in the room, allow to bring food upstairs as he was weak to go down to eat, advised about pharmacy, called doctor and every day after his recovery they asked how is he feeling etc...). It meant so much for us, we really felt you CARE, Meltem, Alexandra and Angie, thanks so much again for your hospitality, thanks for getting know you and hope to meet you next year :)

Only one thing, that the bathroom could have been bigger but it was still OK.

Location was excellent, close to beach and medieval old town. We had an excellent service on arrival. Staff were really helpful and polite. Our room was upgraded to a Seaview, nice surprise. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice touches like complementary cold drinks and tea and coffee

Pool was on the small side and limited sunbeds. No privacy as on the roadside.

Rooms are lovely and spacious and very clean. The staff were always very helpful with regards to local buses and water sports, and very friendly & welcoming. Our flight home was late at night and we were able to have showers in one of the suites after checking out and spending the day at the beach.

Easy walking distance to the old town but we didn’t realise when booking it was right next to a street of bars and strip clubs. There appeared to only be one iron in the hotel, it would be good if these were included with the room so you didn’t need to ask for it each evening. We didn’t use the pool but it always seemed to be busy.

Honestly, the front desk staff made our stay 5 star. The pictures you see online are from the very best they have to offer, but you probably won't see those rooms. Alexandra and crew were friendly, provided outstanding customer service and were instrumental in our various plans to see the island with helpful and spot on recommendations. Above and beyond service! They all deserve a raise!

Although I believe our room was considered "premiere" it was a little smaller than I thought it would be. Because of the heat at the time, they fitted the bed with a single sheet. No bedspread, just a sheet. We enjoy sleeping in a cooler environment so when we cranked down the AC that thin sheet just wasn't enough. They did provide us with a small blanket upon request. The sight of the "Kinky Strip Show" right next door was a surprise.

Breakfast was very delicious and versatile. Location is super convenient. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room was obviously not cleaned well. Sure the sheets were changed and the toilet was scrubbed. But everyday we would find bits of sand and rocks from the day before, still in the same place. The shower was also not being cleaned, as some strands of hair would still be there the day after, and the glass of the shower had huge shampoo stains on it still there day after day.
