A delightful hotel to stay in. From the warm welcome on arrival our week long stay was wonderful. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. Everything was very clean, and the varied breakfast was good. October is a good time to visit, the weather is perfect. The location is great, it's like a village, surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops. The beach is only ten minutes walk away, the old town about twenty minutes, and the central bus terminal less than fifteen minutes. This hotel is highly recommended, and excellent value for money. At this price point everything is good.

The hotel is run by 2 warm, welcoming and beautiful sisters that couldn't do enough to make our stay any better, the location to the beach and Rhodes Old Town was really good and the restaurants around the hotel were great.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the hotel, staff and location, we hope to be returning to The Svea Hotel soon along with exploring the beautiful Rhodes Old Town more.

The hotel has a great location, about a 10-minute walk from both the city center, old town, and about 5 minutes from the beach. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. They provided even extra breakfast one morning. Breakfast included every morning coffee/tea, juice, some small bowl of fresh fruit, jam with toast, and a main breakfast dish which varied every day. If you wanted they cleaned the room every day, changing both the sheets and the towels. The room has air conditioning. Overall it was a good stay, with great value for the price.

Comparing how nice the room was, the bathroom could use a renovation.

The staff were super welcoming, and friendly. As it was still out of season they were perhaps not fully booked, the lovely receptionist remembered me from our email correspondence and made me feel so welcome. They brought me my breakfast to my room every morning, and housekeeping kept my room refreshed, even leaving me an extra blanket without me even having to ask. The location was fantastic. 1 min walk from the beach, 10 min walk from the old town, plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, and massage places right outside.

The rooms were a little noisy, you could hear people in the hallway and in other rooms in the night time. At the end of the day it did not take away from all of the good qualities of this hotel.

Hotel Staff exceptional welcoming and friendly people throughout the hotel. Reception was very helpful. Room had everything you need, everything worked well and was cleaned daily. The Hotel's "Gorilla's Place" Restaurant and their staff have been just perfect with great food and prices. Price- Value **** Absolute recommendable !!!

Many hotels and restaurant in the street. At night it can get a little noisy, when the young party people come back to the hotel. Not really a negative.... We just closed the balcony door and it was fine for us.

The personnel were very professional, friendly and helpful. Irene in particular was helpful and generous. Thanks to all who made my stay so comfortable.

I think it would be good to have an area of the dining space that is smoke free. The fans on the terrace blow cigarette smoke around the terrace.

Great location. Near by Elli beach (7 min), center of the city, old city, bus station, restaurants, shops..Just perfect!! The hotel team is extremely friendly and generous. Open 24/7 for any questions and help. Rooms are clean and well equipped. Excellent report quality/price. I would certainly recommend and go back any time!!

There is nothing to complain about.

The hotel was in an area with plenty of places to eat and was a short walk from the coast. The room and the bathroom was a very good size. Cleaned daily. The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and always welcoming.

At night it was a bit noisy ( so bring earplugs)

Room was very clean, air conditioner and refrigerator was working very good, there is hot water all the time, they make up room daily, owner is a very kind person and let me check in early, also kept my luggage after check out, place is very close to restaurants and supermarkets and beach. So all in all it was perfect!
