My husband and I have just returned from a weeks stay at Skiathos Garden Cottages. What a little gem. If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday with breathtaking views, this is the place for you. We were greeted at the airport by Litsa who was very friendly and she took us to our accommodation, just a short drive from the airport. There are only a handful of cottages so the pool area is very quiet and we were often the only 2 people there. The views from the pool and our cottage were stunning. I had always thought staying near the airport was a negative but watching the planes landing at the airport from our balcony was very therapeutic. The cottage we stayed in (Jasmin) was very clean and spacious with beautiful decor. It had everything we needed for our stay, a safe, pool towels, shower towels, a fully equipped kitchen, air con and BBQ. The cleaning lady cleaned our room everyday and always gave a friendly wave and a smile. Litsa and Apostolis run several trips into Skiathos town everyday and although we didn’t use this service as we hired a Jeep, this is definitely a bonus as the accommodation is a little remote (although this is also a bonus).

Nothing to dislike apart from the week went to quickly so we had to go home

Skiathos Garden Cottages was the by far the best accommodation on our island hopping tour of the Sporades. We wish we could have stayed longer! Litsa & Appo were wonderful hosts and catered for all our needs, including picking us up from the ferry port and providing a shuttle to the airport on our departure. We stayed in two of the cottages during our stay and both were excellent, as was the pool area. The path from the pool area to our second cottage was quite a climb. Even though we are both in our 60s, we were able to manage it with ease. The hillside location of the cottages was countered well with the provision of a regular lift service into town at specific times during the day and in in the evening. Appo was great company in the car! We would definitely stay again when we return to Skiathos.

We’re a family of four who have just finished a wonderful two week stay here. The hosts Apostolos and Litsa were fantastic. The apartments are staggered across a hillside location. Ours was at the top of a steep hill, which if I’m honest seemed a bit daunting at first. The views however once there, were amazing. It was very peaceful, and it helped us burn a few calories from all the big dinners in town! As well as airport collection/ drop off, Apostolis also offers scheduled lifts to/from the town at certain times of day which was fantastic. He was literally the best time keeper - always there when he said he would be. The pool area was great too. Very clean, plenty of beds and umbrellas, and an honesty bar enabling you to take drinks from the fridge and settle your bill later. The apartments were cleaned daily. Fresh towels were provided regularly (as well as beach towels), along with free safe and air conditioning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would certainly return when we visit Skiathos again in future.

Apostolis was fantastic, providing not only airport collection and drop-off but also scheduled rides to and from town at specific times, which greatly simplified our stay. His punctuality was impeccable. The pool area was excellent: very well-maintained, with stunning city views, ample loungers and umbrellas, and a well-equipped bar offering drinks at very reasonable price. We highly recommend Skiathos Garden Cottages and would be delighted to return.

The making of this property is the owners and the view. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. They make you feel extremely relaxed and like nothing is too much trouble. They also offer free transport into and out of Skiathos town and the airport. The cottages are also serviced which really helps to let you relax, especially when you have children! The view from the cottages is wonderful. This is a peaceful location, just outside the heart of the town.

Nothing that we didn't like but it is worth being aware that the cottages are on a very steep hill. This is no problem if you are able but if you were elderly, this might be a problem.

Location was superb, stunning views. Although on a hill, Apostelos offered a free taxi service to town and back during the daytime and evenings. He also met you at the airport and returned you there at the end of your holiday, so it made things very easy and stress free. The pool was great and rarely busy, honesty bar and wonderful views.

The hill is very steep, especially if you're in the top cottage. It's fine walking it from the pool, just go slowly. If driving a car up to the top, I'd suggest you hire a 4x4.

The hosts were lovely and they provide drop offs and picks up to town. The view from the room was breathtaking. Great air con in the lounge area and bedroom. The room was cleaned every day and was spotless. The honesty bar at the pool was a great touch. The pool was amazing.

This is not a dislike but just to point out the pool is a down the hill so is a climb back up to the rooms at the top if you don't have a car. The hill is steep so needs a bit of knowledge on how to drive up a steep hill.

Great location overlooking the town with wonderful views from our room and from the infinity pool. Lifts into town and back and to and from the airport. Lovely bbq which we used 3 times and a handy honesty bar by the pool. Friendly and helpful hosts Litsa and Appo always available by phone or text and onsite.

The cottages have been very tastefully designed & our spacious. They are situated in the middle of a tranquil wood/olive grove on the side of the hill 1k from town. We had a large balcony overlooking a lovely warm pool with a panoramic view over Skiathos town. We were blown away by the setting & overall experience. We watched the sunrise, boats & planes take off & land in the distance

You have to be well prepared, no breakfast facilities and the property is 1k away from the nearest supermarket up a very steep hill. We did not mind but it would not suit everyone. The host offers a complimentary lift service at set times during the day which is excellent. The wonderful stay is worth the strenuous exercise!

Loved the cottage and the outstanding views. Greatly appreciated the offer of daily lifts into/out of town as given the location would have been impossibly ling to walk. Really liked the pool

The location is extremely steep so even the walk to the pool is hard when it's really hot. Would be tricky for anybody with mobility issues.
