What really made our overnight stay amazing was the incredible helpfulness of the 3 staff members. We arranged this only by internet so we didn't know exactly the place and location. I would definitely recommend that you arrange transfer from the airport as the airport taxis do not want to go directly there. The staff are truly the secret of Vigles. It is a family run apartment/hotel above Skiathos. The rooms are very clean and simple and the beds are very comfortable. I am sure that if any extra needs are require the staff would happily accommodate. The view is wonderful and the breakfast is truly,truly fabulous. The location means that to eat dinner in Skiathos means a taxi to and from. The staff will tell you the price, apporox. 10 euros each way. The staff will also arrange thieir own transfer which is very convenient. The helpfulness and attention to detail was exceptional. Yes, we will return again even if the location is not in central Skiathos which can be very very noisy. The transfer is approx. 6 minutes so worth the tranquility. I felt a little cold in bed and would have like a light duvet or cosy cover and I am sure that if I had know the staff would have been more than ready to provide this. Yes, we travel to Skiathos to get to Skopelos and would return again happily. but take into account that the taxis cost 10 euros each way so budget for that. Its worth it.

Maybe a small little rug beside the bed? A light warm cover in May/June as the nights are a little chilly. Our room was next to the heating(?) system so I could hear the unit going on and off all night. Not good.

Excellent view to the town, harbour and especially to the southern part of the runway, just perfect for airplane enthusiasts. Nice pool with two very different water levels, so everybody can enjoy it. Big and comfortable room, big bed. Free parking. Very good beakfast is served outside by the pool. Kind and helphul staff.

Somehow quite remote location (which should also be considered good in terms of silence and view); transfers offered by the facility quite expensive.

The staff were really friendly, helpful and kind. We felt a nice hospitality the moment we arrived at the hotel. There were other several things we liked: - They upgraded our room to a room with a sea/pool view, which was a nice surprise indeed. - The room was very clean, spacious and had very comfortable bed. - The cleaning of the room was successful, we found our room very clean every time. - The breakfast was sufficient, besides the food, the coffee selection was various and they made delicious latte. - They provided with a crib in the room for our kid, they paid a great deal of attention to the details when you made a reservation. - They offered a free shuttle services back to the city center on the last day as a thank-you for staying at the hotel.

About the hotel or staff, there was not a single thing that we could complain about or did not like. Everything was really good, and strongly recommended. Although the hotel looks close to the city center on the map, it is not possible to walk to the hotel from city center. You need to take a taxi - which we did every time, it was not very costly (5-7 euros per ride) but still we preferred to walk.

Location with incredible views - both across the sea as well as for plane spotting. Comfortable, clean rooms. Strong air-conditioning. Good room service. Beautiful breakfast. Wonderful pool with plenty of lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. Great poolside snacks-and-drinks service. Fast, affordable taxi/shuttle service on demand available anytime. Exceptional staff, getting out of their way to make one's stay pleasant and memorable.

Isolated location (but taxi/shuttle available!). Smallish bathroom. Weak WiFi reception.

A wonderful small hotel hotel with a real personal touch. We really felt looked after - all staff members were absolutely lovely people that genuinely wanted us to have a perfect stay in their beautiful island. Amazing views. So easy to get in and out of town with the fantastic car service provided by the hotel group. Eleni recommended a fabulous private boat trip around the island that really made our stay. I could go on with numerous examples of the kindness and exceptional hospitality. We rarely return to the same place twice, but we’d love to stay again with a bigger group of family and friends. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Such a wonderful view, a simply and nice hotel in quit environment and great pool. The sound of flight is something you can hear, but it did not bother me - great to see the flights land. The staff were very helpful and so kind. Feels like home.

The cats. There were cats that also came into the room, that’s was not what I wished for. It’s an island with a lot of cats, and they are not shy!

Great views of the airport and port. It is a taxi ride away from the town but we were happy to be away from that and go in at our leisure . Nice pool area. Really good breakfast with lots of choice. Rooms cleaned really well every day. Friendly and helpful staff.

The only thing i did not like, was that it was on a extremely steep hill and we had to use the taxi a couple of times a day to get to the port of Skiathos Town Although i do appreciate if it was not on the hill you would not get the fantastic views .

The pool was amazing, had it to ourselves On arrival. Property is well maintained. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Food and drinks available at their bar, the food there was reasonably priced and delicious. Breakfast included a crazy selection of continental and Greek which was great.

Location is very idyllic with great views of the town. An easy 20 min walk down to the port - but note you need to be physically fit to walk back up the hill. Breakfast - excellent choice. The hotel is small & intimate; the rooms are functional & spotless. Pool and bar area are superb - a great place to unwind. Skiathos is a beautiful place; the old town is gorgeous with a huge choice of authentic bars & restaurants. Some upmarket shops too. Maria sorted out the 'in house' taxi for us most nights which was always very prompt.
