Takis Studios is without doubt the best accomodation we have ever stayed in whilst on Holiday in any of the Greek Islands.It is a family run business and they all work really hard throughout the day to maintain the complex pool, rooms and gardens. It is located high in the hillside amidst Olive groves lovely and peaceful. It is possible to view the airport runway and terminal building from the elevated position, which is great if you dont mind the noise every so often as the planes take off and land. The facility has an excellent block paved private parking area of which is partially shaded under the olive trees. There is a raised terrace leading up to the pool and small poolbar that sells drinks and snacks between 8.00am and 16:30pm. The pool is excellent for people with mobility issues and can be accessed safely, down several low-level tiled steps. The pool has a safe gradient from 12" (0.30m depth to approximately 6ft (1.82m) at its deepest point. The rooms are immaculate, well maintained, and tastefully decorated, with no dodgy wiring or defective light fittings. All rooms have modern fixtures and fittings. The double bed was excellent and so comfortable. Both the drawers and wardrobe were more than adequate with ample coat hangers provided, which is quite rare. The modern kitchen was fully equipped with a full sized fridge , small electric stove, kettle, cups , cutlery, and utensils. The bathroom was lovely, fully tiled with a walk-in shower and modern overhead fittings... Everything is well maintained, absolutely immaculate, and spotlessly clean.

The only negative point is that the accommodation is located high on the hill side, not on a bus route, and not close to any shops or supermarket so you really need a car or other motorised transport to comfortably access Takis Studios. The access road is exeptionally steep, and only the very fittest of people would realistically choose to stay here without transport. We hired a small car that was perfect to drive down the hillside literally 5 minutes into Skiathos town, but on reflection, we should have opted for a 4x4 vehicle to allow us to comfortably navigate the steep hill and also to explore some of the more inaccessible beaches and locations in other parts of the island.

These studios are immaculate and the bathrooms have recently been renovated to a very high standard and not the usual you would expect from Greece. Nice quiet location but close to the airport we landed picked up the hire car, nipped to the supermarket, checked in and sat on our balcony looking at our plane which was still at the airport. You can hear the planes land and take off but this just lasts for less than a minute and just adds to the joy of knowing you are on holiday. You will need a hire car as there is nothing close by the town is a good 15-20 minute walk. We did get a taxi back one night that cost €12 and apparently taxis to or from the airport are €15. We would definitely return but you do need a hire car which does reflect on the price. The Air Con was in on the price and the pool towels.

No sink or food prep area but not a problem to us.

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was only for two nights before we flew home but we were happy with our choice for the price. The location was a little out from the main town but we were fine to wander into town & get a taxi back (10€) it is up the most steep winding road, we walked up once & vowed never again ha ha!! The location however was so peaceful & relaxing we loved it. Pool & area clean with a snack/drink bar which we used. The breakfast was tasty plentiful & homemade. Eggs, bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt, cereal etc. all lovely. The host was always around should we have needed anything and was so friendly & helpful. Our room was top floor with a generous balcony overlooking the airport, sea & mountains. The noise from occasional planes stopped by bedtime & never bothered us. Our room was clean, modern, lovely bathroom with toiletries, hot water & great water pressure. Soft towels & comfortable mattress. Kettle & fridge were a bonus. Quiet & efficient air con. Plenty of clothes storage & decent size room with lovely view even from sitting in bed! Little tv which if needed did have a couple of English channels/film channels. The quality of the room, lovely breakfast & pool with views made up for being slightly out of town. If I went back I would consider renting a car/scooter to get to & from town but taxis were readily available & between 4 of us really not expensive at all. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The steep winding road to the property that challenged our fitness levels!! Didn’t affect our stay though as just got taxis back after a day out.

Although the hotel is quite close to the airport, the noise from the planes isn't bothersome, and they usually stop flying after 10-11 p.m anyways. The views from the upper floors overlooking the bay and planes taking off are stunning, and the pool is a welcome bonus. Located on a nice, quiet green hill, the hotel is surrounded by olive trees, we even spotted a wild rabbit and heard some wildlife in the evenings. Skiathos Town is just a 5-minute drive away.

The free Wi-Fi was almost always non-functional, and when it did work, the speeds were unbearably slow. It's important to note that the hotel is located on a very steep hill. After reading other reviews, I thought the previous guests might have been less athletic, but in reality, a motorized means of transportation is essential. We never had the courage to walk up or down the hill on foot.

The thing that we liked most about the hotel was the staff. The hotel is family owned, and it really shows! They're so nice, and they even drove my girlfriend who was sick to the medical center with no hesitation for free. They were super caring and helped us hugely throughout our vacation. They're by far the best hosts I've ever had.

The hotel is on the side of a hill, so you unless you have a transportation device avaible for use, you have to walk up a quite steep hill. Location is still very good though as it's very close to the port and town.

The studio apartment was exactly what we needed. Great value for money. Breakfast was great, all very freshly prepared. View was beautiful and great for plane spotters. Everything you need in the apartment.

The location was great but just be mindful that the walk is fine into town but very steep coming back. Would've been nice to have a bottle of water in the fridge on arrival.

They even arranged for a scooter rental, which was effortlessly delivered to the location, allowing me to explore the island at my own leisurely pace. Stepping into the olive tree garden that surrounds the hotel, I was greeted by a symphony of fragrances and colors. The meticulously maintained flowers and plants painted a vibrant canvas that made every stroll through the garden a sensory delight. And when the midday sun became too warm, the refreshing respite of the perfectly clean pool beckoned, inviting me to cool off and unwind. Each studio in Takis's Studio exudes an inviting ambiance, with tasteful decor that blends modern comfort with traditional Greek charm. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, providing a cozy sanctuary that feels like a home away from home. From the comfortable beds to the well-equipped kitchenettes, every detail is taken care of, ensuring a truly relaxing stay.

The location is on a hill so the view is fantastic, also you need a car because the road is steep, the staff was nice and helpful, the breakfast was good, the room was big and clean, the yard was beautiful and has lots of trees, also has parking.

Don't recommend staying in the town because roads are steep and on very few of them you can fit a car, it's very difficult to carry your luggage on those stone roads. 😜

The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfy. Nice surrondings, the airport wasn't disburbing at all. The location isn't in a walking distance from the center - it's 40-minute walking and a challenging climb to the hotel. But there are many solutions to avoid the climbing. I would defenately go back.
