The location of the hotel is excellent! It is easy to reach from the airport by car or bus in 20 minutes and easy to move around as it is central. The staff were warm and friendly and the breakfast was also great, particulary the Greek yoghurt, honey and fresh vegetables. There are restaurants, shops, cafes, bars and famous sites 5 -10 minutes by walking and the view from around the hotel is lovely. I particularly appreciated the fact that I didn't have to log my suitcase down the stairs to reach the hotel like some hotels in the same area ...very convenient location.

I didn't like the fact that the room was small and sparse. The bathroom was tiny and you could barely move around in the shower. The room and hotel environment was clean and the cleaners always came every morning to change the sheets, hoover, mop and supply fresh towels and linens. The bed was small but comfortable. We could have done with some items for making coffee and tea such as kettle, tea cups, coffee, tea, milk and sugar.

We loved the location as it was quiet enough for us to enjoy as Oia can get pretty crazy. We had a lovely little room with a pool view. Photos on instagram suggest the sea is just right next to the property but it’s just a perspective and in reality you are not that close haha. Breakfast was really delicious and the variety was good. There is a bus from Thira stopping right outside the hotel so easy to access plus grocery shop next door so what do you need more? The staff was very very nice- really kid ladies at the reception. I liked everything and it was very nice, however photos on instagram and reality are not really the same. I had this idea of how it will look like after seeing photos and what we saw wasn’t quite like it, but it was still very nice and enjoyable. Most important - my Mum loved it! So it’s not a negative comment, more an observation.

I highly recommand this hotel for all these reasons: - Location: The hotel is close to the bus station in Oia (12 minutes). The walk to get to the centre of Oia is on a beautiful marble promenade with a nice view on the sea. - Staff: The receptionist was very helpful and gave us great tips about Santorini. The bartender at the pool (because yes, you can buy drinks while enjoying your day by the pool) was also very nice. - Hotel: A beautiful blue and white hotel with a lovely room. - Restaurant: The breakfast was included and it was the best we had in our entire trip. We also recommand the restaurant Anenomilos, located right next to the hotel. Our dinner there was delicious! - Value for money: Amazing, especially if you compare it to the rest of the hotels in Oia.

We were upgraded to a very large room with pool view! The room is spacious and clean. The bed is very comfortable. The balcony is spacious and has a nice view of the sunsets and the sea.

Hotel Anemomilos deserves endless praise for its seamless blend of quality, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. The staff at Anemomilos go above and beyond, making every guest feel like part of their family with their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine kindness. My daughter was so well connected with the Hotel - enjoyed her time in hot tub & with our friendly staff. On top of it, such a perfect location to explore Oia. Even the hotel's rooms and amenities radiate impeccable quality, ensuring guests enjoy a luxurious experience at an affordable rates. This place surely becomes our next choice as well :)

Hard to complaint when you have been treated so well in 3 days.

The location is excellent! It’s 15-20 min walk from Oía center, but honestly that was ideal when evening came and Oía became a complete zoo - I mean it! Thousands of people come from Fira to catch the sunset. It’s 5 min to the start of the pedestrian street, and it is such good people watching you don’t notice the distance. The team - Spiros the owner, Spiros the pool bartender and Lena at reception made our stay incredibly memorable. Lena helped us book an airport transfer, rental car, and catamaran excursion that was the best cruise/sailing trip we have ever taken. The hotel- amazing pool with ocean views. We caught a great view of the sunset here. very clean hotel, fantastic amenities and updated bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows, AC is strong. The restaurant - Breakfast was excellent - spread of hot egg dishes, pastries, yogurt, and cold cuts. The restaurant itself was top notch. I would strongly recommend this place as must visit even if you’re not staying here. Food was traditional Greek - but so fresh and with attentive service.

The room was small, but it was exactly as described in terms of square meters.

The ambience looks and feels cozy.

It’s a nice hotel in a good location- easy walking distance to the center of Oia without the high prices of the center. Rooms were clean and great shower pressure and hot water. The best part was the ladies at reception who were so friendly and helpful. They gave plenty of advice about seeing the island, and also helped us book the best price for a sunset catamaran cruise. The pool area was very nice with comfortable lounge chairs all around. Breakfast was decent with fruits, yogurt, cereals, and some pastries, but coffee was instant and some hot dishes were cold by the time we got them. Overall good, though.

Our balcony with sea view was more of a ground floor parking lot view, where all the cars parked (sea was in the background), but we spent most of our time out exploring so it didn’t matter much.

The pool area was very nice and relaxing, and had lots of space so everyone was spread out. There was also a pool bar. The hotel is 30 minutes walking distance from the famous sunset spot in Oia with the 3 blue domes. But straight across the road from the hotel was a super pretty sunset spot with all of the “white santorini buildings” and there was no crowd at all. The hotel restaurant was delicious. The staff also surprised us with a rose petal set up for my friends birthday. The rooms were very clean and nice for the price you pay.

The best location, the size of the rooms, the cleanliness of the pool, the jacuzzi in the hot tub, the cleanliness, the staff, the restaurant attached to the hotel, and the hotel cat were all great! My daughter got along so well with the lady at the reception and the restaurant employees that she cried at the end because she was so sad to say goodbye. We went to this hotel after reading some bad reviews beforehand, but honestly I don't understand why they would write bad things about this hotel. I think it's great for people like me who want a hotel with a resort feel, yet friendly, casual, and affordable. Also, I am Japanese and there are many staffs who love Japan, so I recommend Japanese people to stay here!
