The Castro is a small hotel run by a friendly and helpful local family who live on the premises. The hotel and grounds were spotlessly clean. We had a sea view suite which comprises of a bedroom and living room with 2 balconies. The breakfast was good and buffet style. Plenty of variety and good quality - toast, fried eggs and bacon, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cake, pastries, etc It was about a 5 minute walk to the bus terminal (don’t walk up to the bus stop as it’s often full by the time it gets there) If you’re looking to stay somewhere with bars, restaurants, etc this is not the place for you, however if you want somewhere quiet to return to , then it’s perfect

The location of the hotel would not suit everyone. It’s about a 10 min walk to the sea front (15 mins back as it’s uphill). It didn’t bother us but not really suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

The owner was very helpful related to my son health , she call the Doctors for me and indicates where was the Doctor practice , regarding my son diet the owner was very helpful again .

Everything was right , no observations to be mentioned ,

Pool area was very good, very comfortable sun loungers, pool exceptional!

The walk from the hotel to the closest restaurants wasn’t the best and meant walking on the main road with no footpaths

This was the best pool on our trip. It was very deep at 2.7m so very good for kids that like to dive into the pool. Breakfast was very good every morning. Family run which was very nice.

a little bit of a walk from the beach but not too bad. The rooms were not fancy, but I think for the price they were great.

We had a lovely suite with big rooms in this very clean and friendly family-run hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, especially as we turned up just before midnight due to our flight being cancelled. They also assisted us in getting back to the airport the next morning.

We could only stay one night!

The structure is new, the hotel is very nice and equipped with all comforts. The rooms are large and bright. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a swimming pool available. In addition, you can walk to the promenade of Kamari. The staff is very kind and always available.

There is a lot of noise coming through the ventilation system in the bathroom, very loud. It's not on all the time but it can't be switched off, and can be heard also with the door closed. I can't of course know if all bedrooms are equally affected....

There was a free breakfast that was good.Maria, housekeeping was always very pleasant and came to clean daily.

There was one lady, the one whom checked us in, that was borderline rude and seemed hesitant to want to assist, but would if you had a problem, but you could tell she didn’t want to.

The hotel is very clean, the beach the bus station and the market is close by, the breakfast was very good as well as the pool.

There was a big beautiful, colorful garden with a clear pool. The breakfast was enough and delicious. The stuff was helpful.

Wifi was weak, and disconnected many times.
