This is truly one of the best hotels in Santorini! The food is absolutely delicious, every meal is prepared with care and always fresh. 👌 The staff is incredible – always smiling, kind, and ready to help with anything, whether it’s advice for couples visiting the island for the first time or assistance with any other need. 🤩 The rooms are spotless, with hygiene at a perfect 10/10. 🙏 Both the managers and the team make you feel at home – such positive energy and hospitality are rare to find. On top of that, the prices are lower than most places on the island, which makes this hotel even more special. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to everything you need. ✅️ My girlfriend and I truly felt at home here, and we will definitely come back! ❤️ Next time we visit the island, we are 100% staying in the same hotel. 🍀 Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable stay in Santorini. 🙏😊

EVERYTHING!!!!! We are retired and have travelled the world extensively. We know when a hotel is not up to expectations (and have walked out of a couple after just a few hours). This place was exceptional. I just reread the past comments - accept what all the good ones say at face value because they reflect our experience there. Irini was exceptional on the front desk and Elizabeth, who cleaned our room every day, was exceptional! When I read each negative review I wondered if they are referring to a different hotel. If those people were expecting a $500 a night experience they should have stayed in a $500 a night hotel - there are lots to choose from on the island. Having a rental car I found there was always a parking space to return to without having the negotiate the narrow streets of the inner town. My wife’s main criteria is a comfortable bed and a clean room and environment. Mohitero got 5/5 on both. We really enjoyed the gardens and the birds and the peace and quiet. We would have no hesitation returning. It was a nice place to come “home” to after a busy day. The pictures on Booking reflect what was saw while there.

Irene, our host, was amazing! She was attentive to our plans and proactive in making suggestions or anticipated if we needed anything. All of her recommendations for where to go were spot on. Irene also had a great sense of humour and rapport with customers. I liked how the hotel didn't look to charge for every little thing (other hotels potentially would). It made a big difference to us that we could use their facilities after check out as we had a very late flight. The pool was so nice. Plenty of options for loungers. Air con was perfect in the room. It was not too far from the centre but still very quiet area. The bar and food menus were reasonably priced.

Its the staff that make this hotel so special! A real home from home hosted by wonderful, genuine and kind people. We have a disabled autistic child and we were showered with kindness by the staff here. Irina at reception/bar always on hand to help and give us tips on where to visit/eat. The wonderful cleaner who kept our room immaculate the whole time and a special mention to Nikolas the wonderful guy who supervises and helps at breakfast time. He was so patience and understanding with our little boy. He is a very special man The setting it’s beautiful and tranquil and in May when we went it felt like we had our own private pool it was so quiet. Kamari beach is 10 min walk and bustling with bars and restaurants! We fell in love with Santorini when we married there in 2016 and we can’t wait to return!

The staff were excellent, some of the nicest hotel people we’ve ever dealt with. They were so kind, good humoured and helpful. They never walked past us with smiling, saying hello and asking was everything okay. They even collected us from and dropped us back to the airport free of charge. The location was very central to Kamari town, less than a 5 min walk to the Main Street, restaurants, bar, beach etc. The hotel was spotless clean throughout with the room cleaned every day.

Apparently a Greek law forbids hotel guests from eating or drinking food at the pool that isn’t bought on site. It’s not the hotel’s fault but it just means if you buy crisps or fizzy drinks in the shop you can’t eat them by the pool which makes no sense.

Excellent location, close to beach, restaurants and bus stop. Friendly, helpful staff. Spotlessly clean both inside and outside, rooms maintained daily with clean towels. Breakfast satisfactory, good choice and cooked fresh throughout breakfast serving hours. Pool area lovely, plenty of comfortable sun beds and clean pool towels available daily. Pool is well maintained, water a good temperature and evidently well managed, jacuzzi area an added bonus. Food and drinks available throughout day from the small bar area and it was refreshing that the prices were not over inflated.

If I had to be super critical, the rooms could be better equipped with a chest of drawers however for a short stay we managed perfectly well.

Lovely hotel, would recommend. Lovely pool area and snack bar. Reasonable prices for snacks and drinks. If you like a Greek night you can walk to Dimitrius Tavern which is a short walk away and there is a very good Greek night there on Tuesdays and Fridays. Good air conditioning in hotel but electric goes off when you remove the key to leave the room. It didn't bother us though. Full size fridge and kettle with cups. Safe also which is free of charge and a good size balcony.

Bit if a walk into town from Hotel but not too far. We walked into town every night and back again without any difficulty and we're not that young anymore. Road slightly isolated in parts and gravelly so no stilettos. Beach in Kamari is not good. Very stoney with uneven sand and stones in the water. Very difficult to swim in. Taxi boat to Perissa beach is a much better beach. But again you need to get the boat to it.

This was our 3rd stay and won’t be our last! The hotel is exceptionally clean, breakfast and bar food delicious. Everyone helped to make our family holiday wonderful. The beach, restaurants and bus are just a short walk. Thank You to everyone at The Hotel Mohitero.

I really enjoyed my time here. It is a medium sized, family run hotel, with lovely staff and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was included with my stay and offered coffee, tea, juice, and a range of cereals, cold meats, salad, eggs, apples and fresh bread for toast. Bar prices are reasonable and the staff were very helpful in telling me what I should do and see while I was there and giving me restaurant recommendations. I was picked up and dropped off at the airport (10 mins away) for free as part of my stay (they will do this if you stay 4+ nights). The hotel itself is off the main road while still walking distance to black sand beach (15 mins). Also a flat walking distance to supermarkets, ATM and restaurants. The pool was private and immaculate. My room was clean and spacious and I had a [ground floor] garden and mountain view, which was delightful.

I hate that this is showing up first, because this really was a great hotel, but I found the hallways to be a little noisy, with the sound of people checking in and leaving a minor disturbance. The rooms were also very bright with only a light lace covering the window, but this was a small issue that was easily fixed with earplugs and an eye mask!
