Central location, 2 minutes walk to the port, for ferries and flying dolphin to the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos, Allonisos, balcony with sea view and chairs to sit and enjoy the view, 5 minutes walk to shopping district of town of Volos, 2 minutes walk to Restaurants and coffee shops. Very friendly and helpful staff, very comfortable room.

The brothers running the hotel were the most friendly and helpful particularly as Volos was still under mud, they didn't expect any clean water in the city for 3 weeks and we were trapped because all routes north were under flood water. The location is excellent for the ferry and harbour front, the town itself and for getting to the bus station.

Being in a climate change " war zone" but at least our stay was made as good as it could be in the Avra.

Very close to the sea and to everything in the center of Volos and, while not a modern room at all, it was comfortable. Some rooms might also have a view - mine didn't. Street parking was also available. However, what I liked the most were the people working there who exceeded all my expectations in terms of how helpful they were. I would return to this place even just for that.

I really had no issues there. Staff was nice, we only spent a night there. I complete forgot about th breakfast, and even though we had to start early the breakfast was an option, as it started from 6:30

Free parking, central location, very fair price, would book again. A renovation would be nice but would come with rate price increase. A solid 8 total experience, book without fear unless you are a difficult to please person.

I was upgraded and had an extremely spacious suite which was super quiet, and very comfortable. Was very grateful for this after a 14 hour journey. I liked the duvet as it was light and warm! The reception staff were really polite, and friendly

Location for the harbour side tavernas and morning ferry is excellent. Friendly and comfortable. No frills but good value for the price.

The shower is weeny with plastic curtain but the water is hot and towels good.

The Avra is very good value for a hotel in such an excellent location. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. A very good breakfast is provided, the beds and pillows are very comfortable and the rooms are clean.

The hotel is nice and very close to the harbour. Dimitris is very polite very customer oriented and he does everything for customers to feel good. He is really perfect! He showed us everyhting for the nearest islands skiathos and skopelos. Thank you very much Dimitri.

I didnt have breakfast as catching early ferry. We parked directly outside the entrance, saved for guests. Staff, as always excellent. Comfy bed. Excellent location.

I would of liked a kettle in the room.
