From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. The Staff were extremely polite, and couldn't do enough for you. Yes, the rooms are bit basic, but spotlessly clean and the Towels and Bedding are changed daily!!! The Hotel is located around a 10-15 Minute walk away from the Main Bars and Restaurants which was not a major concern for us, if you don't want to walk back a cab will cost you 8 Euro. The View from our balcony was amazing over looking the Ionian Sea, the AirCon was adequate which kept the Room cool. Unlike some stupid reviews on here, the Pool Bar IS NOT EXPENSIVE!! with a Large Beer coming in at 5 Euro and most prices on all the Meal Menu are under 10 Euro. The Roof Top Bar (Which is a must) is Beautiful (Views are spectacular) Warm and Friendly run by Vivi, who like the rest of the family at this Hotel makes you feel like YOU are part of their family. The Cocktails come in at 15 Euro's which are all created expertly by Howie the Barman. All I can say about the Negative reviews on here, are "DID YOU STAY AT THE SAME HOTEL AS WE DID"? Because I didn't find anything remotely like what people's negative and damaging comments have mentioned on this site. As the saying goes "You Pays Your Money You Takes Your Choice" What do people expect from a 3 Star Hotel?. We found this Hotel Relaxing, Quiet and Friendly, and worth every penny that we paid. Will be DEFINITELY COMING BACK.

Location to the sea, and Argasi town, beautiful view, convenience of having pool bar, reasonably priced, clean pool. We took the bus to Zakynthos town, bus stop 5 mins walk, bus was 30 mins late but it will turn up. 😅 Taxi back was 10 euro. There are some pretty disparaging, and unjust reviews in my opinion. I went with the knowledge that this is a family run hotel, no frills etc, so I was not expecting 5*. Our room was 3rd floor, basic but clean, room cleaned every day with fresh towels. The bathroom is small and showering far from perfect but functional. We had the lovely clean pool to ourselves pretty much, always plenty loungers, which are in the 2 garden areas not round the Pool itself. I spent lot of time in sea, totally quiet and crystal clear water. The rooms/hotel could use some updating, but if such renovations took place, no doubt would push the price up! I would avoid the ground floor rooms from what people say. The rooftop restaurant is very pretty, tapas style food, pricier, but worth a visit for something more fancy, we were happy with the pool bar food though! If you want a chilled laidback vibe, no frills and reasonably priced, I would recommend. If you want a 5* experience then book one of the much more expensive hotels nearby!

My daughter complained about the WiFi, which could be weak in different areas, but was fine for my needs.

The whole staff was lovely - I have to highlight the receptionist lady. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and gave us fantastic recommendations on where to go, what to see, and how to get around easily. She genuinely made us feel welcome from the very first moment. Plus, she’s absolutely beautiful – inside and out! My favourite thing about our stay was that the sea is literally just a few steps away – the water is crystal clear and ideal for swimming anytime. The garden and the pool area were also clean and very pleasant to relax in. We also loved the outdoor bar by the pool – the cocktails were delicious, and the owners, who run this as a family business, were extremely kind, friendly, and welcoming. There are great restaurants close by, and the pedestrian street is about a 10 minute walk away. We’re very glad this was our first experience in Greece. This hotel gave us what we hoped for – a relaxing, friendly, and beautiful holiday experience in Greece. Thank you for everything!

It was right on the beach and family owned they were very nice and helpful!! We loved having the water right in front of us and pretty empty.

I think the location doesn't have the best beaches but the one beach at our hotel was beautiful no sand but the most beautiful waters.

My room was spacious, with a/c and had everything I needed, from a kitchenette to an electric kettle. The housekeeping was a nice touch and I appreciated that I could request an iron whenever I needed it. Sitting on the balcony in the evening, watching the sunset over the sea, was pure bliss. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Zakynthos!

I loved waking up in my air-conditioned room, walking out to the balcony to enjoy the stunning sea view and then heading straight to the beach for a morning swim. The kitchenette in my room was handy, allowing me to prepare small meals, but the real treat was just soaking in the Greek sun on one of the hotel's sunbeds.

The private furnished balcony was perfect for sipping my morning coffee while taking in the breathtaking views. The kitchenette was well-equipped and the room had all the essentials, including free toiletries and fresh towels daily. Price was also too fair for the room.

My stay at Agoulos Beach Hotel was all about relaxation. The hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Zakynthos’ main attractions like Agios Dionysios church and the port, but I found myself enjoying the beach right in front of the hotel most of the time. Recommended by me!

Waking up to the view of the Ionian Sea every morning was a highlight. The room was clean but a little dated. The staff were helpful, and the price was reasonable. If you're looking for a budget-friendly place with a great location, this is a good choice.
