This hotel is all suites, sort of like apartments with small kitchens, laundry and more space for dining and sitting. The first unit we were in was next to an avenue and we could clearly hear the cars and trucks traveling past. The hotel was very kind in moving us to another unit, at no extra charge. The facility is safe and quiet. We liked the location close to town and more in a residential neighborhood.

Great location, within 10mins walking to the town square. Spacious house for 3-4 people. Really liked the washer and dryer inunit (have to bring own detergent). Nice big common space, living room, dining room and kitchen. Staff was friendly and there was security 24hours. Provided free filtered water.

Housekeeping can be improved, if you need daily cleaning, make sure to tell staff clearly. Not all trash was cleared or new towels given until our 2nd night. There is no A/c and the upstairs can get very hot with no outward facing windows to get fresh air, even though fans were provided. Reception often closed later in the afternoon, so if you need help find them in the morning.

We really enjoyed our stay at El Marqués! The amenities were great and the decor was tasteful and charming. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly diligent and friendly — they truly made us feel at home.

The location is a bit of a walk from the main attractions, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. We actually enjoyed exploring Antigua on foot!

Wonderful welcome and David and his team went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms were very clean and spacious and the location was very safe and quiet.

There was a bath in the bathroom but the water wasn't hot enough to use the bath - was hot enough for showers though so not a major.

Absolutely loved this place!! Our 'room' was a two-story private apartment, with a full living room and kitchen in addition to the bathroom and two bedrooms. It was so lovely and we were super comfortable, and the staff was super helpful.

The location was slightly further than we expected from the center of Antigua, but it wasn't too far at all - and that was on us!

Beautiful property! The staff was amazing and very attentive to our needs! The gardens were well maintained, and we had enough space in the unit to be comfortable. We were close enough to walk to restaurants, bars and shopping area. Having parking on site was a nice bonus. We had no idea how limited the parking was in the area.

The only thing I would change would be to add ac to the units. It was too hot during the daytime to get comfortable.

Great location away from noise of downtown clubs and restaurants. Very secure with parking area. Staff were friendly and very helpful with information and suggestions.

I liked how spacious the place was as well as the decor. The natural lighting was also very nice. It also had a washer/dryer unit which was a huge plus.

The sliding doors into the internal patio did not close properly. We stayed on 2 separate occasions in different rooms, and the sliding doors in either could not be locked.

Excellent, comfortable, fantastic apartment. About a 10-15 minute walk from the Central Plaza, so close enough to get to the center but far enough way to be quiet and peaceful. Breakfast delivered to the room was a great bonus!

The only issue I had was that there were times the Wifi wasn't very strong or would cut out. Because I had online work meetings to attend once in a while, this was a bit frustrating.
