The hotel has a great location with a rooftop bar and pool with a nice view. But it couldn’t be enjoyed in the rain which is frequent here in the rain forest. Hotel has the best bakery in town. Staff are very nice. The room was clean and had a bit of a view of the lake. Location is great in the center of the island with a 5 minute walk to everything. It’s really worth staying in Flores, so you can do sunrise or sunset tours of Tikal and Yaxha without crowds. Be sure to shop around on Viator, Trip Advisor, Tours by Locals etc for the best tour prices and reviews, as there is a lot of competition, and prices vary greatly. We found a great 8-hour private tour of Tikal with all transportation for under $100 and a group tour of Yaxha for $25. The hotel was very cute and nicely decorated.

They gave us an envelope with the remotes and the Wi-Fi password, which seems like a good idea. Unfortunately, one of the remotes for the wrong room and then the other envelope the password was from last year. They never found the correct remote. The bed was a little too hard. The toilet seat was broken and never fixed in our room. The bed was hard.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel great location We had room 101 which was quiet but can imagine if you were on 3rd floor you could hear the bar We did you use the small pool which was lovely whilst waiting for our room to be ready The bar restaurant on the roof had a good vibe Flores is small so you can walk around in about 15 minutes great places to eat and drink we loved it Staff were friendly at the hotel and we had arranged for them to pick us up from the airport free of charge which was great

We asked if they could organise a taxi as we were were going to stay at a jungle lodge but they told us they couldn’t ring one for us to walk to find one We found a travel agent around the corner who were very helpful and organised this for us They were called getaway travel they book great trips too

This hotel is a very quality mid-range property in the Petén region of Guatemala. The services like housekeeping here are very good, and the amenities like the pool and bar were greatly appreciated. Particularly due to the sky-high temperature the AC felt amazing! Overall, I'm glad we booked our stay here.

First, I was frustrated with a guy who worked at the front desk. The day before a kind woman at the desk told me they could arrange a taxi for us. The next day this guy said it was impossible because they didn't have the number, but a few hours later after brunch he now said he could call a taxi! Other than that hiccup and our ignorance to the fact that you can expect parties/music to be heard until 11pm our stay was great!

Very central hotel in Flores with multiple restaurants and spacious quiet rooms. Nice pool to cool off on the roof. Very clean, they spend a huge amount of time cleaning common spaces, to the point we actually couldn’t have lunch at a table on the roof terrace as they were busy cleaning the rooftop space at the time. Staff were nice.

The beds are on rollers without obvious stoppers. We ended up taking a bed each as it’s quite disruptive to sleep to be moving around so easily.

Lovely hotel with nice restaurant and adorable cafe. Rooms are very nice and air conditioning is wonderful. Staff was always kind and helpful. Flores Island is rather small and the hotel is convenient to everything- shops, laundry, pharmacy, and restaurants. We stayed the night before we went to Tikal and the night after. Our first night we arrived very late after a long travel day. The shuttle still picked us up. The air conditioning was not working in the initial room we were given so we were moved to a new room that was an upgrade with a beautiful view. They kept our large packs in secure storage while we were gone. Also had our room ready when we returned at 12:30. Highly recommend!

Distinct interior design, with great restaurant downstairs.

Beds weren’t the most comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant was fantastic depending what you take it would be approx. 10-15 euros per person, while breakfast to take away was 10ish euros (11 dollars). That consisted of a ham sandwich, mainly bread thick 2 pieces of bread, with small apple, sugar loaded juice box, and small bottle of water. So very disappointed with the take away breakfast we took due to very early tour.

The hotel was lovely. Our room suited us well. It did overlook the extraction fan (203) but it didn’t bother us. The place was super-clean. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place take cleaning so seriously. The floors were immaculate and everything else looked lovely. The decor is fresh and cheerful. We loved the dipping pool on the roof and used it several times to cool off. The hotel is close to everything so really convenient. We recommend it.

The hotel was in a very good location by the town zocalo and within a block from the water. From the rooftop bar or from the pool you get great views. We were there for three nights and had a comfortable set of beds, plenty of space, and attractive decor. The hotel left bottled water in your room daily and offered water in the lobby at all times. Every staff member was friendly despite our non-fluency in Spanish. The town itself is small but fun to walk around The water taxi is a great treat for getting around the lake. If we return to Flores or we know of someone going to Flores the this hotel is our recommendation!

The hotel had nothing we did not like

Hotel isla de flores is beautifully decorated and a close walk to everything! The staff is kind, professional and helpful- they organized free transportation to and from the airport, held our bags before check in and accommodated a late checkout for us. There isn’t AC in the reception, but the AC in the rooms and restaurants work great and are essential to escape the heat! Overall this hotel has everything- a delicious restaurant, bakery, rooftop bar and views, airport transport and friendly staff. Definitely recommend!

Isla de Flores provided free airport transfer. Check-in went quickly, and a welcome drink was provided. Room 204 was big with a true king-size bed. The room had a/c and a ceiling fan. The a/c worked well. There was a closet with hangers. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided. The rooftop bar and restaurant was a good place to watch the sunset.
