My stay at the airport in was brief, but very fulfilling! As many do, I was only staying at the Airport Inn for the interim as I made my way to Utila. I wasn't planning on doing anything or seeing Roataan at all, but in the short time I was there, I was given a tour of the island by the shuttle and provided plentiful meals. It doesn't happen all the time, but if you're lucky enough Lionel will make up the traditional Roatan soup, Maccoy. It was delicious and well worth the cook time (about 6 hours). I would definitely recommend this place even if you are staying more than a few days.

The kindness of the owners (Sheri, Leonal, and Scott) made my stay very enjoyable from the beginning: Leonal was waiting with the shuttle at the ferry terminal as soon as I arrived to Roatan; Dagoberto carried my luggage to my comfortable accommodation and ensured that my room was ready; Shakira made an amazing hamburger with meat from Sheri and Leonal's local farm; Scott shuttled me to the store in search of almond butter before heading to Las Palmas to access the beach and watch the sunset); and, finally, I sat with all three owners and another guest for dinner and conversation to the song of the rain falling on the canopy until 2 a.m. in the morning.

Great value for money! The staff are exceptionally nice and went out of their way to accommodate me. I felt very much at home, eating dinner with them and sharing stories. In the morning my flight was early, so a takeaway breakfast was arranged which was very helpful. There are snacks and essential items for sale on the property as well as home cooked meals. The rooms are very comfortable with strong internet and air-conditioning. There were even complementary towels with good quality sheets and blanket. The location is literally 5 minutes from the airport so great for people needing to catch that early morning flight.

The only thing I would say in regards to the location, is that it is not super close to Coxwain hole, so if you need supplies or want to go into town, you need to arrange transport. Luckily one of the staff are always available to drive you for a small fee. This is just something to consider when booking but really wasn't an issue for me.

There was nothing I didn’t like except it was fairly expensive for what you got. the rooms Do not look like the one on the website They are basic which was all I needed the fish and chips.were excellent The price is approximately what I would pay in USA

Staff was amazing and so helpful. If you need a hotel near the airport, this is the one you should book. The hotel can book a shuttle if you need one but it's walking distance from the airport. The room was enough for my budget.

The shower could've used an extra cleaning but everything else was clean (floor, bedding, towels, etc.). Oh and the AC in my room was a little bit too loud.

I was just looking for an overnight stay at a hotel airport but got so much more. Room exceeded my expectations, the food is amazing and the owners made me feel like a friend visiting vs a guest at their hotel. Next time I come to Roatan, I am definitely staying here!

From the check in process to the check out process everything was easy and super low stress. The two owners are super accommodating and if you get hunger in the middle of the night, just send them a text and they are happy to fix you something. Convenient location, quiet, chill and relaxed.

The hosts Shelley and Leonel were friendly, helpful and assisted us greatly with getting us to where we wanted to go! Our stay in Roatan was absolutely made more special by having stayed at and met these hosts!

Excellent location just 5 minutes drive to airport. Perfect for an overnight stay to catch the next day flight. Great hosts, excellent breakfast, and perfect airport shuttle service for free.
