Kind reception staff. Good accessibility to the means of transport for the city. Large but expensive parking lot (20Eu) Large rooms but equipped with the basics.

Mini bar with few products. Agglomeration at breakfast. Average quality of breakfast. People from outside the hotel have access to the pool. The jacuzzi is always full. At the bar, although we had free soft drinks, we were asked to pay for them, one evening. Inadequate quality/price ratio. Noise due to some parties until 2 am, during the second night. No one took a stand.

This big hotel has a four star look and feel with a large shiny lobby with bar and restaurant, but the rooms are a bit outdated. Breakfast is absolutely fine. Most important: the thermal pool totally makes up for the outdated rooms, there’s a 15m pool at 27 degrees, then two smaller pools at 33 and 38 degrees - included in the room rate, and open from 7 AM to 10 PM. Bathrobes and slippers provided in your room, towels for free at the spa bar. It’s a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram station - take the A1 tram for two stops, then the metro line 3 takes you anywhere in Budapest. Visit Terror Haza or the Franz Liszt house. Tickets for the opera are not expensive. For authentic Hungarian food you dont need to go far - a good restaurant is 5 minutes walk away: Kéhli Vendéglő, live music, always crowded so better reserve a table.

the rooms are outdated, some things are loose or broken, and it smells a little musty.

I enjoyed the pools. Sauna. Steaming room and massage. My 9 year old daughter loves swimming,, so she spent a lot of time switching from one pool to the next. Breakfast was nice - loved the 🥞.

Most of the people were very serious looking with no smile or warmth on their faces when attending to us, but not all of them as some were nice. I was disappointed that the person who booked the massage messed up the time, day and the duration in which I was made to pay again but their was no courtesy discount to compensate the inconvenience rather the double transaction means I ended up paying nearly £10 more than the 1 hour massage that I had booked originally. The massage was good though!

Everything went really well, we got taxi from the airport, it was great already, the easy, smooth pick up and the full journey to the hotel with a nice driver. Then we arrived to the hotel, got a clean, big room. The bed was huge, and comfy think it's a queen size. The default given blanket wasn't enough for me, but after I requested an extra blanket it was there in 10 minutes wrapped in a plastic bag hygienically. We spent 5 nights and slept really well each night. The breakfast was amazing, selection of EVERYTHING filled us up for whole day. Sauna was fantastic, clean, it cured my long-term caugh in few days. Despite the technical problems the hotel faced with, and they said they were unable to heat up the swimming pool, the water temperature was still good enough to swim. Really appreciated. Not to mention the jacuzzi.... Awwwwhh. It was a really nice holiday four us. The staff nice with efficient English. No worries about anything :) thanks a lot!

The wall plugs are old fashioned, the converter didn't go in, so we were able to use only 1, it was difficult to charge our electrics. Even 1 out of 3 wallplugs had no electricity in. Our room number was 221

Room was ok. Clean and tidy. Could do with an update. Close to a nearby railway stn with Good transport links to trains trams buses. Metro. Was away from city Centre, but meant u got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was fine also. Recommend the visit to smaller Baths Lucaks Baths quieter than the others and only 4800 florin per adult for day pass. 72 Hour Travel Card 5500 florin for on adult ideal to get you around on trains metro trams and buses. Overall great City to visit. Also Visit Margrets Island with air Ballon and musical Waterfalls in park area

An issue with Hotel bar downstairs having to repeatably tell them that we had an executive room which included Complementary tea coffee and soft drinks. They said it was not on their system from reception ???

The pool and jacuzzi were great. This was the main reason why I chose this hotel to stay and I am happy that I did so. It was very nice to find the bathrobes and hotel slippers in the room for the same reason. Additionally, the iron and the iron board in the room were also very nice to have especially during a duty trip. Lastly, the breakfast was also great with various alternatives.

The hotel is quite old and the rooms including the bathrooms need some renovation as soon as possible. For example it is not possible to find a close plug to the bed although many renovated hotels are offering both regular as well as usb plugs right next to beds. I am also surprised that the complementary one bottle of water and 2 coffee/2 tea bags in the room was for my entire stay, i.e. there was no addition on daily basis. Additionally this hotel is away from the city center or Infopark. Thus I would recommend this hotel only if you will enjoy the spa facilities in this hotel.

Overall, it was a positive experience, especially the breakfast, which was plentiful, of good quality, and varied. I would have appreciated more attention to the dessert section, perhaps with a tart or cake instead of the usual frozen pastries. The true highlight of the hotel is the wellness area, which made the stay very relaxing. The Finnish saunas were in perfect working order, although they were separated for men and women. The hot tub was excellent.

Unfortunately, the 38°C hot water pool was out of order and drained, and I would have preferred to be informed about this during reservatione rather than upon arrival. The spa staff were not particularly welcoming, especially when I asked for a larger bathrobe. Initially, they seemed annoyed and said they didn’t have my size, but after I insisted, they managed to find one. I rarely saw the staff smile, which I think is important since a smile is the first sign of a warm welcome. The room was cleaned only twice during a five-night stay. Lastly, I would have appreciated a wider selection of food at the bar.

We stayed at Verdi Budapest Aquincum from August 6th to 13th with my family, and it was a fantastic experience. We came to Budapest for the Sziget Festival, and this hotel perfectly balanced the festival excitement with our family comfort. First off, the hotel's pools were like a spa paradise! Perfect for starting the day with a burst of energy. And the breakfast—what a treat! It was like a breakfast show every morning, and even our little one had her own mini breakfast party. With our Budapest Pass, we zipped around the city effortlessly, and getting to the festival grounds was a breeze. The hotel’s location near the city center made it easy to explore during the day and return to the festival fun in the evening. The hotel staff were like superheroes; whenever we had a problem, it was solved instantly, and always with a smile. Despite the hotel being busy due to the festival, everything was incredibly well-managed—no delays, no waiting around. They truly deserve a round of applause! In summary, Verdi Budapest Aquincum added a crown to our Sziget adventure, offering a warm and welcoming experience. If you're looking for a place to stay in Budapest, I highly recommend this hotel!

The wellness is big and awesome, amazing lobby with a lot of Xmas spirt at this time at year. The room are a lil outdated with a few flaws then they fix tho! but still some nice rooms size wise tho and view. Room service was fast to jump if troble. Evening/night staff was some awesome people. We had some food heated in 2 am as a lil help, night staff leight some of the most sweet people you could ask for, same goes for cleaning staff.

Now the bad part. Ms blond and brownie Karen team at the reception, two bitter and rude woman, a ton of attitude and failure to do their job. A day before we are suppose to leave the Karen team call us and ask "when are you going to leave?!!" In a very rude and aggressive manor, a minor missunderstqnding booking wise. There had been smoothen out before that, we go down to the lobby to talk with them, the manger was there, seemed very displeased with her Karen team, next day.. time before checkout they call the room phone hours before just to hang up at checkout Karen the brown smiled with a anyoing smirk look, so the Karen team, two sad people who brings a great hotel down.

My husband and our adult children stayed here while visiting friends and family (my husband grew up nearby), and it was exquisite! The rooms were well set up (we got two adjoining rooms), the facility was beautiful (make sure to go to the indoor pool!!), and the cafe was a delight. My daughter is a barista back home, and she had high praise for her coffee; and we enjoyed chatting with the friendly & professional fellow barista who prepared it. Everyone working there was really helpful, and the location is good for walking to the nearby island park or Obuda eateries and small museums.
