It's a brand new hotel that just opened a little over a year ago in a new mixed development building (condominium, hotel and some businesses). The location is nice, on the quiet side of district 13, but still close enough to the main tourist attractions. You can reach the Parliament by bus plus tram in 15 minutes or on foot in 30 minutes. Walking takes you along the Danube river, which is nice. There are some cafes within 10-15 minutes walking distance for breakfast if you feel like the hotel's 26EUR breakfast is too expensive. The bed was very comfortable.

The smart TV kept turning on on its own after we checked in, it was creepy but the staff quickly fixed it. The battery in the safe was dead and I asked them to times to fix it, still took them over a day.

I’ve stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Budapest three times already, and it’s always a highlight of my trips. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, with great beds and a functional desk for working. The view from the balcony—especially on the higher floors—is breathtaking, overlooking the Danube and Margaret Island. The staff at the front desk are exceptionally welcoming and professional, making every arrival and departure feel warm and personal. The Rooftop Bar on the 9th floor is a real gem—ideal for a relaxing coffee or glass of wine, with an amazing view and friendly service. The location is perfect: close to great restaurants and bars, and within walking distance of Heroes’ Square and the famous city park. Highly recommended for business trips, solo travel, or a weekend with friends or a partner. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The coffee machine in the breakfast area could be improved. Some more English and German speaking TV channels would be great.

New way of "Do not disturb"!? At the entrance of the room you will find few sockets and one for "Do not disturb", showing small red light. We did not notice it neither some of the hotel stuff explained how it works!? Result: Cleaning lady never came in our three days stay in that hotel. We suggest, pay attention to switch off small red light if you whant your to be cleaned!

The hotel is located in the quieter part but still only a short taxi ride away from all attractions. Our room had a nice view of the river.

There was an issue with the cooling ( airconditioning ) in our room and we had to argue a lot with the front office staff about changing our room, but they finally did it. Also the small roof top bar is nice but they must serve some appetisers with the drinks. You dont want the guests drinking on an empty stomach! The dinner is served only till 9.30 PM at the only restuarant at the hotel, so on our first night, we could not get any food at the restaurant or the bar and had to go looking for some food to at a seven eleven type shop.

The hotel is beautiful, rooms are great, rooftop bar with cocktails amazing! I walked to the city center, and the location is perfect because it is calm and quiet around. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and the stuff find me rooms without problem, so they was really helpful.

The towel in my room was not clean, and in my colleague's room the shower was broken I said that on reception and they gave me free parking as an apology so I really appreciate it!

The rooms were large, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The Location was amazing, only a short walk away from very nice brunch spots and across from a lovely park. The windows keep noise out and the room was also very clean upon arrival. the hotel was much better than we anticipated and definelty good value for money.

There was not really anything I can say I did not like.

We like the location, which is very nice, relaxing summer bistro overlooking the park and Danube. staff is very efficient and kind, breakfast various for every taste and well presented. Staff at the reception very helpful regarding public parking application just in front of the hotel...there is charger for electrical car...no congestion!

Cleaning lady did not reach our room although she was fixing nearby rooms? Locking system on our room door was not closing properly so on our return to the room, we found it open?

Nice, clean and modern accommodation. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Very nice breakfasts. I liked also the locations - very close to city centre, nice walk to get there.

Only 3 minor issues: - it was neccessary to slam the room door to close them. Once the cleaning service let the door open (not fully closed) - strange noice appeared after flushing the toilet (not only mine, but also other toilets above my room - fire sensor on the ceiling was flashing quite intensively during the whole night right above the bed

Set vis-à-vis Margaret Island, the hotel greets guests on the Pešta side of Budapest. The hotel is four kilometres from the city centre and the landmarks. The best way to reach the city centre is by opting for public transport or taxis. The XIII. district of Budapest is famed as a peaceful and tranquil residential area characterised by the Danube. Almost every hotel room offers spectacular views of Margaret Island and the hills of Buda. The vicinity of Margaret Island is one of the greatest advantages for lovers of recreation and sports The new four-star DoubleTree by Hilton Budapest showcases the brand’s aim to marry simple elegance and classic Marriott design. How well they succeeded is another matter altogether. The architecture, first and foremost, is perhaps too generic and less in-your-face, as other hotels from the same brand. We did appreciate the interior, though. The pleasant ambience and neat design subtly ooze the feeling that the hotel is well-made. The hotel is not boastful; instead, it is a typical four-star hotel where business guests will feel at home. Despite some drawbacks, the hotel’s affordable price makes it a convincing choice. At the moment, a hotel at a similar price in Budapest, where you will feel as welcome as here, is hard to come across. We hope the enthusiastic staff stays positive in the future, giving guests the same experience.

There is no space for a proper work desk because the rooms are cramped. Instead, the rooms have an extendable one. Although user-friendly, we suspect the hinges will become shabby soon. We advise paying the parking ticket or risk paying a fine. Our recommendation is to park your car in one of the nearby parking houses. Apart from standard measures, such as soap dispensers and eco-friendly shampoo, the hotel does not advocate any sustainable initiative.

High quality hotel, comfortable rooms, helpful staff, stunning views. The hotel is new and has been completed to a very high standard and with great care. Rooms are extremely comfortable, the beds are very large and comfortable. Staff are sincere, friendly and helpful. We were checked in early and upgraded to a balcony room (suggested by the friendly staff). The service was exceptional. The balcony view of the Danube is sensational, with a large balcony living space and the sky bar is stunning. The hotel is sanctuary. I don't often return to city but this hotel stay and the beauty and atmosphere of Budapest will bring me back. Highly recommend. Nearby activities The hotel is extremely close to Margaret Island, home of Palatinus Strand - thermal pools, 10 outdoor pools and a wave machine. Wonderful place to relax and swim. Walkability The hotel is about a 10 minute walk into the city centre and is well connected by public transport and extremely accessible by public escooters. It was just the right distance away for peace from the hustle and bustle of downtown Budapest but close enough that you can walk there along the beautiful Danube easily.
