Good location very close to the Nyugati station (though not by the river, which is not an issue for me), good breakfast with some varieties. Large rooms in European standards, good bedding and pillows and slept well. The staff are excellent, especially Bence, Mark and Viktoria, who helped me with some issues (the originally assigned room has a problem with the door lock, which is solved very quickly by giving me another room that does not have the problem, also a free drinking voucher is provided) and helping me re-organize my itinerary by giving some suggestions. Also slippers and robes are provided in the room.

Some of the elevators, especially for the first few days do not work.

Excellent value for money from every aspect - the rooms are spacious and clean, luxurious showers, everything from the hand soap to the type of tea served in the room is of a high standard. The breakfast is great, especially the diet-breaking pastries... Most of all we were impressed by the front desk staff who were warm, cordial, helpful and ready to help and give good advice in any matter. The location and proximity to the Westend Mall and all types of public transportation are also excellent. We will happily return again.

The best hotel food! It was delicious. My child ate his breakfasts and this is a good sign. All towels were clean and soft. Bedclothes without hair and spots. Crowne Plaza has own access to the Westend. After check out they gave a toy to my son, he was happy.

Excellent location. It is in ideal prime location from all the attractions. Shopping mall "West End" is just adjacent. Morning breakfast was awesome with plenty of choice. Hospitality was fantastic - starting from lobby receptionist, room service, everyone in breakfast service areas. Decent room size, cleaned. Also, they arranged for all 4 of us early morning breakfast togo on checkout since our flight was at very early morning. We loved this hotel. Definitely recommend this hotel to others and if we visit Budapest, we will come back again to Crown Plaza.

FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED INTO THE CROWN PLAZA BUDAPEST WE WERE MADE TO FEEL VERY WELCOME BY THE RECEPTIONIST (VIKTORIA) SHE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL AND THEN TOLD US HOW TO GET AROUND HOW TO BUY TRANSPORT TICKETS ALL ABOUT THE LOCAL ATTRACTIONS, ONCE WE REACHED OUR ROOM WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE SIZE AND LOCATION ON AN UPPER FLOOR WE ALSO HAD ACCESS TO THE CLUB LOUNGE WICH BETWEEN 5PM AND 7PM SERVED FREE SPIRITE WINE AND FINGER FOOD ALL OF WHICH WAS EXCELLENT IF YOU ARE PLANNING A TRIP TO BUDEPEST YOU CAN NOT GO WRONG WITH THIS HOTEL.

PROBERBLY THE MENU OF THE RESTAURANT ALTHOUGH WE CHOSE NOT TO EAT THERE IT WAS ONLY BECAUSE THIER MENU DID NOT SUIT USE.

The hotel has an excellent and rich breakfast, especially for a 4-star hotel. The room is very spacious and the staff is very nice and available. They give those who want bottles of water, and in addition, there is a door that connects to a huge mall, which is very nice.

There is no spa in the hotel and no pool. In addition, it is important to emphasize regarding dinners that it is in the hotel's restaurant from a relatively limited menu for our taste. In addition, our room faced the main road and we occasionally heard the noise of ambulances.

Everything! We had a slight little hiccup at the check-in that was promptly and very professionally dealt with. My sincere congratulations to the Manager and the Team who did an amazing job. The room was spacious and had a great view to the main road and surrounding buildings, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is... Well... Amazing in terms of choice and quality. Breakfast staff are there every step of the way and attend to your needs as fast as possible. Really, I enjoyed my breakfast every morning and it's indeed thanks to them! Also, my compliments to the Chef! The Eggs Benedict were just marvellous.

Not staying for a longer period... Not moving there permanently... :(

Location, facilities & staff

Overall it was good. I wanted to rate 9 of 10, reason / I reduced it by 1 because while check out without our knowledge checkout staff ordered taxi, while we have Uber service booked. Checkout personnel were insisting that we requested for a taxi to go to airport - which was incorrect. I presume having all the checklists ticked Crown Plaza Budapest had a fall with this incident ! Which is unfortunate. But I give full credit to the premises & would recommend to all to take Crown Plaza & will be visiting once again next year 🫡

The hotel was very nice, breakfast exceptional with a large variety of food and drinks. Axis lobby restaurant had very good food, a little expensive but very big portion. Room was very big and bathroom well equipped.

You can hear noises through the walls, but not to disturbing. Garage is mostly empty, maybe can be offered in the price of the room. at check in and check out should explain better when they are taking guarantee and when you are paying; for me was a little confusing.

Really nice hotel with excellent staff. Complimentary water was a nice touch. Good sized room and very comfy beds. Slightly unwell on day of deparure and was allowed to stay in the room until 2pm without charge. Handy for the tube and tram network and adjoining a massive shopping mall. Breakfast was excellent and the serving stations were always kept clean and well stocked.

Nitpick. The bathroom did NOT have a standard international shaver socket so an adapter plug was needed. How strange for an hotel of this high standard?
