Hotel is generally nice and clean, rooms are a little bit on small side but otherwise comfortable. Location of the hotel is great (adjacent to railway station) and walking distance to the center of the city. WIFI in hotel works nicely and with decent speeds. There is a bar and tiny ammenities shop within the hotel and plenty of shopping/food/coffee choices within meters of the hotel.

Well, booking rating told me that this was exceptional hotel but in all fairness it is very nice (but not exceptional, specialy for that price point), same thing goes for breakfast which was nice and tasty but not exceptionall (two days in a row there were no fruits of any kind offered). Hotel offers garage parking, but it is 500-600m walking distance (and it is hard or impossible to park in front of the hotel to offload). None of this is a problem in itself, it is just that it was not explained properly. It is a nice hotel, likely great for business trips.

They could place a teapot in a room for an ability to make yourself a hot tea or a coffee also adding shower robes would be nice

Breakfast was superb, great choice and very appetising, the breakfast room is amazing with lots of light and fantastic decoration. The location is great, you can walk to most places, and if not the metro is right there, as well as the tram and buses. We love the decoration, and our room was amazing, huge and very comfortable. The staff were the best and nicest. They have free lockers in the basement if you need to leave your suitcases before or after checking in.

The only downside was that breakfast was overcrowded on the Sunday, but to be fair you are advised to choose the time wisely. Cleaning in the rooms could be a bit better, for example we found an empty bottle when we checked in, during our stay they didn't take the used glasses, and wouldn't clean under bottles in the bathroom, just little details as overall was clean, and nothing to be put off staying there, just a bit sloppy.

The hotel is located right across Budapest's central train station (Nyugati Pályaudvar), so very well connected. It's also a nice and easy walk from the hotel to the city center. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The sitting area, desk, kettle and mini fridge were quite useful. I also liked the carpet floors, which helped us feel home. The breakfast was very rich. I really appreciated the labels next to each food that shows their name and content. This is something I look for, but very few hotels pay attention to this detail. So, thanks T62.

I didn't find the hotel staff particularly friendly. They were often polite, yet cold and distanced. The hotel reception and the lobby look a little bit chaotic often times. This doesn't give a good first impression.

The location was excellent, with convenient access to trains, metro, bus, and tram stops all within a short walking distance. The housekeeper came daily to tidy the room. Breakfast was good, with options like scrambled eggs, sausages, vegetables, lunch meats and cheeses, breads, croissants, cereals, yogurts, and fresh coffee. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and helpful.

It would be helpful if all the switches in the room were clearly labeled, especially the ones on both sides of the bed. Additionally, the room was a bit small. Providing a laundry room with coin- or card-operated washers and dryers would also be a great addition. The only option they suggested was a laundry service, but the pricing was very expensive. We opted to wash some things in room and hung to dry.

After a disastrous experience at a horror hotel by Lake Balaton in the middle of the night, the T62 Hotel truly saved our trip. Despite our late arrival, check-in at 2:00 AM was absolutely effortless, and the staff could not have been more welcoming, attentive, and friendly. Our room was spotless – fresh towels, crisp bed linen, and everything perfectly clean – allowing us to relax straight away. Breakfast was simply outstanding, offering an impressive variety that caters to every taste (and yes, there’s even a pancake machine!). Check-out was just as smooth as check-in: we left the room at 11:00 AM, and the staff kindly stored our luggage until our departure from Budapest at 6:00 PM. On a scale of 1–10, our stay at the T62 Hotel was without a doubt an 11/10. Highly recommended and a huge thank you to the team for making our stay unforgettable!

The large room was comfortable and recently renovated. It was somewhat smaller than in the pictures, but still large enough. The selection of foods and drinks for breakfast was better than expected.

People at reception are professional, but cold and uninterested to help you with info about night buses. There is no cutlery and napkins available, so you have to ask for them from the staff. Parking is somewhat problematic. They recommended a parking garage nearby and told me to pay for my stay at the reception, but without giving me a QR code which is could use to go in and out of the garage. During my stay (3 nights) two times I had issues getting out since their system relies on someone being available to open the garage manually. This means that one time I had to wait for someone 15 minutes (I couldn't even pay since the receptionist took my QR code). The second time I had to pay to get out.

People in the front desk were so friendly and nice. Our check in and check out process was so easy and fast. Breakfast was ok but could be improved. We had an early flight so they prepared us small packages including 2 sandwiches, a in energy bar, an orange, juice and water. We appreciated that.

When we first entered our room, it had looked so clean and even the bathroom smelled like bleach which is a hygiene symbol for me and I liked it. We left our luggage and left the room and came back at night then we realized that one of the duvet had some blood stains. It looked disgusting for me but my husband didn’t bother himself to call the receptionist for a change.

Fabulous large, clean room, room 341 was so quiet .. no view but an easy trade for the peace we had. The room was very clean, made up each day with clean towels etc. Huge space and very comfortable bed. Great breakfast - lots of options every day. We had a perfect stay. We didn't use the train but the station is directly opposite if you want to use it. We were able to walk to all of the main sites easily. II think you need to be on floor 2 or above as otherwise the limited noise from reception/bar may affect you. Rooms 113, 115 and 117 are actually opening into the bar/breakfast room - personally I would avoid these.

Beautiful hotel with great rooms and friendly staff We had a lovely stay – the hotel is really beautiful and the rooms were ideal: spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The staff was very kind and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was average, nothing special but decent.

One thing to note: although the website mentions parking, the hotel doesn’t have its own private parking. They work with a partner parking lot that’s quite far and charges a daily fee. Fortunately, there are several street parking options nearby, but you have to be careful where you leave the car. The area is usually very busy, since it’s close to the train station.
