Very friendly staff! We left charger in the room, and it was waiting on us next day :)

Supose to bed double bed, but it was twin, for couple not so comfortable :)

Our room was a good size for two people. Clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is located right near Andrassy Blvd and Teraz krt where plenty of shopping, dining and transport options can be found, providing easy access to the Metro and trams network to explore the rest of Budapest. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and very good.

Reception was unmanned when we arrived (9:00am on a Monday) so we inquired at its sister hotel right next door where we were able to check-in. Some more prominent signage and directions to do just that would help a weary traveller.

The staff is very polite, the hotel is near the center of the city (about a 30-minute walk), the hotel and the room are very clean and you even get complimentary drinks in the room fridge. The parking is in an underground garage, and the only way you can enter it is through the hotel. All in all I am very pleased.

The only downside is that you have to pay for the parking at around 20 euros per day.

Helpful staff at reception, generous check in times and good communication before stay.

Not the best shower - not enough pressure. Someone (probably a cleaner) opened my door at 8:15 am but then closed it quickly when they saw I was still asleep which woke me up - annoying on a Sunday morning.

Great location, every touristic place and the center is just walking distance. Hotel personals are very friendly, super helpful and nice. I came to the hotel very early, the rooms were empty so I had an opportunity to make early check-in before 15.00, which was a great option for me.

There were a rock concert just in front of the hotel, I wanted to rest after a heavy travelling day but it was very loud. I got 2 separate small beds inside one bedroom, therefore bed was a little small to sleep for me and therefore not that comfortable but I used one of the beds as the garderobe :)

The Location of the Hotel is so near from the center, there are many nice Restaurants, Pubs, Mini Markets Around ! the Metro Station is less than 10mins walk, the Bus stop of 100E from/to the Airport is less than 10mins walk. The Staff were so nice, they upgraded our room without asking, Wi-Fi is amazing, the Safe Box was not working when we checked in so we called the reception and they sent us the guy for maintenance in less than 10mins and Fix it...Very Recommended.

There is no soundproof system between rooms, we could hear every single word of our neighbors, they were literally like sitting with us in the same bed ! we could have a conversation easily if we would. This was a bit annoying because they nocked the Wall on us whenever we talk while its ok if they talked ! so at some point it becomes like a challenge ! and we didn't turn on the TV and we were hardly going back to the room to take a shower and asleep so if you had an indecent neighbors like ours you wouldn't be able to sleep or walk or talk or even breath.

Actually we booked totally different palce for those dates, but when we arrived to the first booked appartment, i realised that it would be not possible to stay there even for 5 minutes. So i had in rush to find a new place for stay at least for the nignt. And sudenly i found City Hotel and it had some free rooms, i ddnt have time deeply to investigate the conditions because it was almost midnight. So i reserved and we run there. For my surprise, the hotel is big, good conditions, in quite and clean location (Budapest city center unfortunatelly is almost always dirty with homeless and a lot of marginal people around). From Baszilika it was 10 minutes by walk, with all infrastructure for pleasant stay. From now on it is my favourite place for accomodation in Budapest

The only thing that can be improved is the lightning in the room. Room is quite enough for 2 persons stay, but there were only 2 small working lamps, and i had to keep toilet door open to receieve additonal lightning from there.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and been very pleased with the experience on both occasions. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It's not luxury accommodation but that suits me fine. It is, however, extremely good value for money and very conveniently located. Both Nyugati Station and Oktogon are in easy walking distance. The breakfast, which was included in the price of my booking, was excellent, although the little tubs of jam are almost impossible to open.

Apart from the tubs of jam, there was nothing about the hotel that I didn't like.

Very convenient location, didn’t use public transport at all. The room was very clean and comfortable. Very cool due to cooling system, that was especially precious in July. Highly recommend!

Really helpful, pleasant, friendly staff who go out of their way to be polite and help out. Modern, recently refurbished place, rooms compact but have everything you need. Very cool - windows also open for fresh air (plus air con). Mini bar is free and restocked depending on length of stay. Anything extra we needed was sorted. We stayed just under two weeks and loved the location, close to city centre and all tourist places, plus it was near family for us. End of the st. sits perfectly between Oktogon and Nyugati stations for the tram, so it was ideal. Plus a nice chicken sandwich place on the other corner for a late night/quick snack. Plenty of convenience stores etc. nearby too. Will definitely return!

Nothing really to be fair, they had it covered. Rooms are not large but perfect for us. Of course I'd recommend please keep the prices decent/manageable!
